We parked and noticed nearly all the lights were off. The pastry cabinet was empty, the tables were taped off. But people were inside and customers were in line. Emotions and energy were low, it was quiet and dim vibes all around. We walk in and see just one man working the cashier and making the drinks. He looked puzzled, a bit lost. We get in line behind someone ordering 4+ drinks and see that this guy didn't really know how to make the drinks. He was misplacing the ingredients and wasn't fully confident operating the payment system. The back counter was cluttered with miscellaneous gadgets, appliances, and syrups. It took nearly 20 minutes for the customer in front of us to get from ordering to receiving their drinks and we just watched in slight awe. The guy was apologetic and upfront, he was trying his best in a bad situation. They made some small talk and hinted that they were closing due to supply chain disruptions in Hawaii. I feel for them and wish them well. The coffee itself was ok. Flavor was decent but somewhat unremarkable. They offer different caffeine levels, up to I think 400mg in a drink. I just got the 200mg coffee. Don't know if I just built a tolerance but I fell asleep right after. We did want a pastry but with the baked goods cabinet empty, we weren't sure what they had left to offer. There was a long sign listing everything sold out between the pastries and coffee flavors. Overall the experience was odd and left a slightly bitter emotional taste in my mouth. They've acknowledged that they weren't in the best condition at that point and I do feel unfair to judge them at their worst. If they turn it around, I'm opening to revisiting. But for now, I don't feel compelled to go out of my way for it.

The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and I appreciate that I'm not sitting around forever waiting for my coffee. I know I should probably branch out and try some of their other drinks, but I have a picky stomach, and when I find something I love, I stick with it. Their Café de Olla with honey is definitely my favorite. Most importantly, I wanted to acknowledge the consistently friendly service. The matcha itself was very earthy, had to keep swirling it to get the matcha powder that settle at the bottom to mix in. I would try this with just a bit of honey next time or regular milk to see how it improves flavor. I don't remember how much I paid for it... but regardless, it was a good drink so I'm not upset about it! The only thing I didn't like at this spot was how loud the music was. It felt a little drowning. I don't think if I had someone in front of me we could hear each other without having to raise our voices. Other than that, the A/C was okay. It wasn't super warm inside but also not cold. It was a good ambient temperature. The staff were relatively polite. I think I have to throw in the towel on this BB location…read more.. This location has become too much of a hit or miss to frequent. I've noticed a few other recent reviews with the same concerns. My latest experience was one of the worst by far. The employee taking orders in the drive thru was visibly irritated when I pulled up and rushed me through my order, to a point that I felt awkward even asking for adjustments to my drink. I was as friendly as possible, hoping to turn the interaction around, but was met with such a bitter attitude anyway. I can understand being flustered or busy - and this location does get backed up at times - but with one car behind me and a single customer at the walk-up window, this was pretty frustrating and made me feel like an inconvenience for stopping by. Not to mention, I've had my drink made incorrectly on three other occasions in the past but keep giving this store another chance since it's the closest to my job. I would love to see changes and give this location another try in the future. Best of luck!

They have a few tables for indoor seating. We ordered at the front counter. The girl at the register was nice. We got the taro smoothie, the honeydew smoothie and a lychee bliss fruit tea. Our drinks came out in a timely manner and each was delicious! The smoothies were of perfect consistency, not icy and flavorful to the end. The boba was warm, nice and chewy. The lychee bliss was good too, just the right amount of sweetness. Refreshing. It's definitely a great place for boba and highly recommend!
