This coffee kiosk located inside Plaza Bonita makes some pretty good coffee. I had an iced Americano with 2% Milk and a dusting on cinnamon. The iced coffee was well made and quite flavorful. They initially did not put enough milk in the coffee so I had to ask for more. They offer locally baked goods. They service was good. The young lady who took my order had a good sense of humor. It's a good spot for coffee while you are at the mall.

Wow I was just walking around the mall and needed a little pick me up coffee and I am impressed. I got a banana caramel oatmilk latte and it's delicious. We also purchased a hot coffee and it was actually hot thank god, I'll be back.

Good authentic iced latte, definitely must try. Service was quick and person at the front informed me that the tres leches was on the sweeter side but it came out very good!!!!

Do not underestimate this coffee shop!! Although it's inside the mall this truly deserves its own store location. My coworkers have been coming here pretty often now and the coffee NEVER disappoints. Ive had El Padrino, El Guero, and their Honey Cinnamon Oat Latte (forgot the name). The lattes are perfectly sweetened and has a very strong coffee kick!! Definitely will set the day for you!! Staff is so sweet and friendly as well! I love coming here when I need a strong coffee.

Stopped by the Three Boys coffee inside the Westfield Plaza Bonita to try their matcha latte and it is so delicious. They are located on the second floor near the American eagle and jc penny. The baristas were friendly and prepared my latte just how I like it. Unsweetened to get the full flavor of the ceremonial grade matcha. The cold foam was perfection, super creamy and do not take away from the flavor of the matcha. My husband got their banana caramel latte and it was great too. The service is quick but not rushed. Definitely recommend.

Found this pop up coffee shop inside the Plaza Bonita shopping center whilst last minute Christmas shopping...I got the toffee nut latte (I can't remember the creative nickname they have for it right now) and it was really good! Location is good, prices are a bit higher than desired, staff was nice, I'd definitely rather grab a cup of Joe from here than the other star guy!

    First try at Three Boys!

I've been waiting a while before visiting the Three Boys Coffee stand at the Westfield Plaza Bonita Mall. Usually it was because I purchased my lunch there and preferred not to carry two items around. Well for whatever reason, I finally went today and wound up pretty happy in the end. I picked a good time to get my photos and then shopped around a little more before I made my order. The baristas were highly courteous- I was very impressed with them in both attitude and service. I am one who always enjoys chatting with baristas at the coffee shops I visit. If I find they lack good service skills, I very rarely return. But no worries today at Three Boys! They were terrific! This coffee stand is pretty impressive! It's at a good location at the mall on the second floor and pretty much in the center of the mall itself. It's not far from the escalators, so just about everyone who goes up to the second deck is going to walk by Three Boys Coffee. I see from Yelp photos that this stand once had its own store space at the mall. But times have changed! This stand is pretty clean and well organized. Besides coffee specialties, they offer danishes, and tea choices as well. My only regret today was that I missed the fact Three Boys offers may favorite beverage! The Mexican mocha! I guess I have a lesson learned from today's visit - look at the entire menu!! I won't miss "El Abuelo" next time! But for now, "The Mammas Boy" served my needs for a good latte very well! A very serviceable and a delightful visit! Stop by sometime! Recommend: HIGH

Been to this place a few times. Really love the flavor of their coffees. I've gotten The Goods and the Flat Gap and both were great. Service is always friendly although a little slow at times. I think having a stand definitely works well for this spot and it's in a great location.

I love the coffee here! My boyfriend and I visited around 12pm on a Monday, so it wasn't busy at all. It's also a coffee stand now so it's located in between the American Eagle and Box Lunch stores. I love how there were some tables to be able to sit in as well! The barista was really friendly and answered my questions without any issues, she was super sweet and didn't mind stepping out real quick when I let her know I was taking some pictures (just to be respectful of her)! For the drinks we got the "Tommy boy" which is English toffee flavored, it has a sweet buttery taste which my boyfriend preferred because he doesn't like his drinks too sweet. The 12oz also only has one shot. He also got it with oatmilk! I got the "3 boy" which uses their homemade tres leche milk mix (this doesn't allow for milk alterations fyi) in 16oz size which comes with two shots. I really liked this drink, I love sweeter drinks so this hit the spot. It's really a unique drink so I say give it a try if you like sweet drinks! Overall, definitely coming back before work or school to get my coffee fix! :))

A nice surprise to see a new coffee shop pop up in Plaza Bonita. I really love the 30's-40's vibe here. The barista told me they've only been open a couple of weeks. Today I tried the Flat Cap, which has cinnamon and a hint of brown sugar, as suggested by my barista because I didn't want sickeningly sweet coffee. It was just right with a bold coffee taste that I enjoyed. They had a few muffins, pastries and cookies available that looked similar to ones you might find at Costco - in particular, a powdered raspberry shortbread cookie which I absolutely love. I didn't try any today but just saying they look familiar. They have a few tables available for lounging, and of course there is plenty of seating inside the mall as well. Service was quick and friendly. I would come back to try other drinks on the menu. Wishing the best of luck to this new cafe!

    The kiosk.

I was very excited to be in an active mall. The baristas were knowledgeable about their drinks. I liked the drinks.

Five stars for their flare on a Mexican mocha. Loved it the flavor is strong, but damnit that coffee stayed on my mind. Located upstairs in the middle of plaza Bonita mall. Many other coffee shops have tried to make a Mexican mocha. This place hit the nail right on. Go support.

    Kasey F.

When i'm telling you this is some of the best tasting iced coffee i've ever had, believe me! It had the right amount of sweet and you could still taste the coffee in it. It was the right balance of everything. I'm definitley going to be a regular from now on.

We parked and noticed nearly all the lights were off. The pastry cabinet was empty, the tables were taped off. But people were inside and customers were in line. Emotions and energy were low, it was quiet and dim vibes all around. We walk in and see just one man working the cashier and making the drinks. He looked puzzled, a bit lost. We get in line behind someone ordering 4+ drinks and see that this guy didn't really know how to make the drinks. He was misplacing the ingredients and wasn't fully confident operating the payment system. The back counter was cluttered with miscellaneous gadgets, appliances, and syrups. It took nearly 20 minutes for the customer in front of us to get from ordering to receiving their drinks and we just watched in slight awe. The guy was apologetic and upfront, he was trying his best in a bad situation. They made some small talk and hinted that they were closing due to supply chain disruptions in Hawaii. I feel for them and wish them well. The coffee itself was ok. Flavor was decent but somewhat unremarkable. They offer different caffeine levels, up to I think 400mg in a drink. I just got the 200mg coffee. Don't know if I just built a tolerance but I fell asleep right after. We did want a pastry but with the baked goods cabinet empty, we weren't sure what they had left to offer. There was a long sign listing everything sold out between the pastries and coffee flavors. Overall the experience was odd and left a slightly bitter emotional taste in my mouth. They've acknowledged that they weren't in the best condition at that point and I do feel unfair to judge them at their worst. If they turn it around, I'm opening to revisiting. But for now, I don't feel compelled to go out of my way for it.

The ambiance inside is so nice, with a long velvet/velour bench and some comfortable chairs and solid stone looking tables, they have put some thought and effort into their aesthetic. But of course we come for the food and drinks, right? So they do have a pretty good selection of sandwiches, salads, and pastries. Their drink menu is also quite good and they also have their signature drinks and food. The place is always clean and neat, and so welcoming. My favorite sandwiches are the grilled cheese and the roast beef. I would have the roast beef more but I have to watch what I eat or i get gout. I love this place as they are so accommodating and also listened to some of my suggestions. When they first opened up they would just serve their sandwich with no side, just the sandwich. But i will say that they do charge a fair amount, and for that amount it would be nice to have something else on the side. So my suggestion was to either derive a little house salad or some chips to fill out the plate and to add some texture to the meal. And to my surprise the next day they had added a little salad to the meal. And might i add I really don't like salads, but this one is very delicious, and adds a bit of different texture and some acidity to your meal. The drinks are nice and are made right there. They are always served in nice glassware if you are drinking there. I am not a big coffee drinker so I usually will go with a chai or some tea. I love that they will make it either hot or cold to your liking. I was a bit worried when they started up, as i thought that this was not a good time in the economy to open up a business. But they are doing remarkably well and they are quite busy most of the time. I love to see a place doing well, so when we climb up the stairs to go to work, we have a nice start to our day to see all the happy people inside eating and drinking. I wish they continued success, but I know they have found their niche and a good formula for success.

While it's true that outlets indoors did appear few and far between, the seat itself was super comfy and could even recline. The interior aesthetic is comfortable and inviting, with calm whites, hints or green and brown, and plenty of space and seating. I worked for about 15 minutes on my laptop while waiting for a photoshoot I was hosting nearby. I ordered a cold brew to get a second quality check on the spot before leaving (I always do hot americano and cold brew first to check a new coffee spot's baseline). Both the americano and cold brew were really smooth, with balanced and consistent flavor profiles and a lot of depth. Good body on both, too. Overall, I give Home Coffee a 4.67/5. It's pretty solid on a lot of fronts, though I agree about the lack of outlets inside. Recommend checking out when looking for a good cup of coffee in National City.

We took our time eating, hoping the drinks would arrive, but they didn't come out until much later. We ordered a cappuccino and an iced churro latte.
