I love better buzz! I really do love their best drink ever specifically the banana pudding one is delicious ! The only reason it's not 5 stars is the parking/mobile order pick up. I do a mobile order pretty often , and it's always a gamble if I'll find parking . The first entrance unfortunately backs up due to the drive thru so you can only go in through the second entrance . Parking is tight, there's a little parking lot in the back but on weekends people that visit Rohr park must park there because it's packed. The mobile order also takes a lot longer , they'll send a text for an estimated pick up but on average it's not ready yet . I love better buzz but the location is not the best . read more

Better Buzz has been my favorite! We go to Arizona regularly and that's where i discovered its existence and so glad they made their home here in Chula Vista also. I ordered Fresh Brewed coffee and even though it's plain, it tasted so light and smooth. My friend ordered Açaí Smoothie and she said it tasted perfect! She ordered a smoothie but it wasn't in their order list but Ricky saved the day by making it pronto! The service is impeccable! I love how they have their menu clearly posted outside and they offer a variety of coffee, smoothies, healthy breakfast offerings and pastries! I visited this Better Buzz location at night, around 6p mid week. The place was busy and the drive thru line was robust. I walked up to the ordering window and a young man greeted me. He asked how he could help me and what I was thinking about ordering. I purchased a gift card for my best friend's birthday. He was able to handle the transaction within 3 mins. My sister & I chose the walk service since drive thru is always busy. We weren't sure what to order a very nice lady offered to assist but we were still deciding , once we were ready we placed our order for coffee & decided to have a pastry. We had asked for an item but it was sold out or not available. We asked for another item and we was served by a different person. she seemed like she was not in the mood or just had a dry personality. My point being I know we all have bad days but this person seemed like she was just doing what she had to do. I love, love, love Better Buzz! I was so excited when it opened in Bonita. I used to be a total Starbucks fanatic, but Better Buzz completely won me over--the quality of their drinks is consistently amazing and always delicious. You can really taste the difference, and I appreciate how creative and well-balanced their menu is. I've loved it so much that I've honestly put everyone around me onto Better Buzz, friends and family included, and now they're hooked too. The only thing I'd change is the length of time the seasonal flavors stick around. I just wish they lasted a little longer than a month because they're so good! I barely get the chance to enjoy them before they're gone. Overall, I absolutely love this place and find myself coming back way more often than I expected. I ordered the cinnamon pistachio best drink ever and asked for it half sweet and it did not disappoint, it was so good I came back for a second the following day and ordered it with an extra shot and it came out perfect. The drink comes with whole pistachios which I enjoyed. I also ordered the carnitas breakfast taco and chili jam sausage croissant and they both were good and very filling. First of all, the location and drive through is probably one of the worst layouts I have ever been in. At times it gets backed up all the way to the end of the street. But were not reviewing the location, you want to know how the coffee is , is it worth it ? Not at all. Very average coffee with an expensive price tag. I ordered the banana cold foam iced caramel latte and it was just okay. What made it worse is the absurd price tag of $12. Other coffee chains or even independent coffee stands charge at least $8 and thats pretty high but oh well thats what inflation does these days. I will say they are very generous with their shot amounts because oh man i could taste the caffeine and was able to wake up. Thats not necessarily a bad thing but the whole taste was just .... Meh. Average coffee , i think there are a whole lot of better options out there in San Diego. read more

One star for location and lack of signs for the drive thru - esp when the speaker wasn't working. I pulled into the parking lot where there was no attendant taking orders. There were two open lanes so I picked the first one. No cones were blocking any lanes. The speaker wasn't working so I waited in line until I got to the cashier. I was told they don't allow "cutters" and to make a u-turn on busy Bonita Rd to find the guy taking orders and get back in line. Like excuse me what!? I am a rule follower and not a cutter! Anyway, I know the cashier was doing her job and she wasn't rude. But dang girl put up a sign that the speaker is broken and do not call people cutters! Where else was I supposed to turn if your lanes were clearly marked and not blocked off?! All that to say I need my coffee and I'm mad I didn't get my coffee bc heck no I'm not gonna make a u-turn and get back in line when someone outside wasn't doing their job directing traffic or taking orders. Went up to the counter last night about 8:30pm. There was a little wait as it seemed like there was only one person working doing the counter and drive thru, no problem. I order my drink and ask for it decaf. Got my drink, it said decaf on the tag but guess what? It wasn't decaf because I was up until 5 am. An açaí bowl is literally a smoothie bowl. It's supposed to have soft-serve vibes, be creamy and spoonable, not something you have to chisel like an ice block. When it's hard as a rock, that usually means it was over-frozen, under-blended, or sitting too long. That's just bad execution. Better buz yall need to step up your acai bowl game. This place is terrible. The drive thru line takes forever and it is because you have all these employees standing around chatting with each other. On our recent visit, our order had to be repeated 5 times, we were just ordering two drinks. The phone number for the rewards had to be repeated 4 times and they still did not apply the rewards. One of our drinks was a large iced vanilla latte, once I was able to see it in better light it looks like they forgot the espresso. It is all milk, how can you mess up such a basic drink.
