Perfect matcha! Very balance flavor profile, not too sweet. The barista was very helpful & went to the back to check if a flavor was out of stock and it wasn't! Nice "dive coffee bar" like experience. Tables inside and out. Would be nice to get work done, but music is loud to wouldn't take meetings here. Metered parking out front! I was able to catch a meter with time left!

*friendly cozy spot * great service * parking also in the back * casual cool ambiance This place is still a great spot for some coffee or matcha. Service is always welcoming! A must try I. The heart of third ave... My favorite here is the matcha! Casual friendly ambiance.

The place is spacious. They have seating inside and outside as well. It's clean and tidy. The employers are very kind and sincere. Welcome you with a smile. The food was amazing. I got a veggie breakfast sandwich with a lavender iced coffee. Delicious. I will be definitely coming again.

Solid coffee shop on downtown Chula Vista! Great solo study spot--plenty of bar seating and mini tables, plus outlets, free wifi, and an accessible bathroom! NOTE: metered parking only (I think 2hr max). I got an iced white mocha--was on the stronger side and less sweet/milky just how I like it!

Downtown Chula Vista has a bunch of good spots to check out, especially when it comes to coffee. If I'm in the area, I always stop by GrindHouse for a dose of caffeine. I really like their Cold Brew, so that's my drink of choice. GrindHouse is super chill with a handful of indoor seating and a few tables outside. The staff is always friendly, too. I personally haven't tried their Sandwich menu yet, BUT the shop always smells good. Lol I will eventually! My sister did try their Grilled Cheese and the cheese pulled was immaculate, so that's promising. See ya latte!

This place surprised me. The coffee was amazing. Very solid spot. The Food is good to. I will say the only thing was the tables were a tad messy. The restroom was clean. Aurora was really nice. She had a good recommendation when I couldn't make up my mind and it ended up being a good choice. Good walking spot where this location is. Good amount of seating for a small place. Very interesting décor. Parking isn't too bad here. Best time would be to come early though. I would definitely come back and try some more stuff.

wow such a great gem that we found on a random sunday. the baristas were nice, the coffee was delish, they def know what they're doing behind the bar. the sandwich seemed pretty simple and straightforward, the egg looked to be kind of thick at first but trust me on this - it's so good!

What brand/kind of syrups do they use for their flavored drinks? in house made, monin, torani, etc?

We use a variety of syrups, some house made and some bought.

    Is this place hipster?

No, there were no hipster sightings on my most recent visit.

Is avocado toast an option? If so how much? I'm really hoping it is because this place look amazing I want to come every morning.

We do not offer avocado toast. Instead, we offer hummus toast. Choose from three house made hummus’ and either rosemary olive oil sourdough or 7 grain cracked wheat bread.

I took a look at the menu and decided on getting the Matcha Meets Fresca and chilaquiles. The Matcha was actually pretty good. And the Chilaquiles were decent however I can tell the green salsa is not a fresh salsa. I also did not care for the chicken. It tasted like pre-cooked chicken that had been warmed up. The chips were very crispy however. I think it's a great option for folks in the area, however I would not return given it's not located in my community and can find not your preferred closer to me. There were folks in their meeting and working and although it may be a little noisy, it is a great option to work from. Food: Chili Crisp BFast Sando- (Biroche, Egg, Cheese, Bacon, Chiptole Aioli, Sesame Chili Crisp) Tots with House Seasoning - with Ranch Cup of Coffee Buko Pandan Latte Hot & Cold First the drinks were yummy. The hot Buko Pandan was stronger in flavor than the cold/iced drink. The tots were yummy and crisped perfectly but I'm not sure about the supposedly ranch dip. It was tangy for me. The Chilio Crisp Bfast Sando was delicious. It was so good that I want to return soon and have it again. The worker taking our order was very nice. He even mentioned about a restaurant in Vegas and asked if I've ever tried it-Public Us and yes I have. Overall, a great spot that can get very busy in the AM. The front window area has seats on one side and seats outside. It worked for us. Definitely will return.
