Came back for a 4th of July pick me up. And so glad they were open. They were a little bit behind as it took a while to get my wife her coffee. My wife and I each had our drinks, I had the Strawberry Matcha it was good not anything special. Wife had a Hazelnut pebble latte. Food we shared a waffle and breakfast croissant. The crossiant I recommend having them add some Garlic Aioli. The waffle was very fluffy highlight of the meal. Both were great. Minus parking being the only downside as it is in a location only has street parking. The vibe is always corner coffee shop. A must try. read more

I randomly searched cookie butter latte on google because I was craving one and Cristallo cafe popped up so I stopped by today for my first time. I didn't see the cookie butter latte on the menu so I asked and sure enough they had it! I'm guessing they have a secret menu maybe? Nonetheless the coffee was SO good and definitely satisfied my craving. There was no line when I got there and they did take quite some time (about 15 minutes) to make my drink but as you can see it was made with love so I'm not mad it. The employees were super friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was quiet and peaceful with elevator music playing, perfect place to get some computer work or studying done. Really great customer service here. I was greeted right when I walked in, which immediately made the place feel welcoming. I ordered a latte and they even offered me a first-time customer discount after asking if I was around from there, which was such a nice surprise and honestly a really thoughtful touch. The latte itself was really good too. Parking was a little tricky since the cafe is part of an apartment complex, but I was able to find street parking a block or two away without too much trouble. read more

I stopped by this recently new coffee shop in Chula Vista at the ground floor of the Cristallo Apartments. I ordered an iced Americano with 2% milk and a touch of cinnamon and the peanut butter toast on wheat. I was a little disappointed with the iced coffee. It was harsh and had a bitter after flavor. It did not offer that rich smooth coffee flavor that I was hoping for. I did not finish it. I hope they improve the coffee. I am not sure if it was the roast or the lack of cleaning of the espresso machine. The peanut toast was good. It would been better on a thicker artisan toast, but it was tasty. It was nicely presented but the intricate presentation limited the amount of fresh bananas and strawberries on the toast. The bread needed to be roasted a little more as well. They offer plenty of inside seating. The young lady working the day I visited was very nice. She had a good upbeat personality and was very friendly. read more

This cafe is super cute and the staff was so nice! First, there is no parking. They are at the bottom of an apartment complex so you have to find somewhere to park. The employee did tell me if you call in, they can make your order and text you when it's ready so you don't have a parking issue and can stop in the loading zone and just pickup. Second, the coffee was meh. I tried the banana latte and after trying this at a few popular San Diego coffee shops, I was underwhelmed. I work right next to Galu but wanted to give this place a shot. It did taste very banana-y but tasted very artificial and was SUPER sweet. I only drank half and that's because I let it water down a little. HOWEVER, I also tried their bacon breakfast croissant and that was pretty good. For the price, I'd come back for that alone. read more

Friendly customer service but sooooooo slow. Got here at 8:00am sharp for a coffee, it's 8:16am and I haven't gotten my coffee yet - I was the only customer here btw. When I approached the associate a few mins ago to ask how much longer he said "oh I'll do your order next." Place is clean and bright and they offer discounts for locals which is why I added an extra star but now I'm regretting adding a tip to the order. read more

We've been waiting for a coffee house to come to this area and it's finally here. What a pleasant shop. We just had coffee this time but plan on coming back for breakfast or lunch.
