Some of my colleagues informed me that these ladies and gents at Fruity Loco offer $1 street tacos consisting of beef birria, adobada, carne asada, carnitas, or chicken. Well it's true! I had two beef birria and two adobada street tacos. The adobada tacos were very good. The adobo flavor was very good, the pork was tender, and the guacamole good. I would happily pay $1 for these tacos again. I thought the beef birria tacos were okay. They put plenty of tender beef, but I felt that the chili sauce needed a more developed flavor. It didn't offer that depth of flavor with all the herb and spices, not to mention those rendered red peppers. However, for a $1, they still very worth it. The place offers a good amount of inside seating but no outside seating. They also offer a variety of smoothies, fruit based drinks, and fruit salads. Service was friendly. read more

Edit: Just so you know Krystal by the ice cream u can clearly see how they are making your food BTW, Also the cashier makes the food as well there needs to be better management then because I don't see them wear gloves like ever everytime I would go so the fact you would say I'm making something up is crazy because I saw what I saw and people need to know if they are going to eat it, it's super unsanitary. I really enjoyed this place until I saw unsanitary conditions, there was a lady taking my order wearing a band aid and proceeded to make my tostilocs with no gloves and grabbing it with her hands and I've already seen it happen multiple occasions where employees touch the register and cash and proceed to make your food with bare hands and there's no tongs to pick up the fruits, I think this is super disappointing knowing I liked coming here but it happening too many times that I stopped going. read more

I am definitely a drink girl, so I was ecstatic to finally try this place since it is so close by. First and foremost, this place is so cutely designed. The chairs remind me of the Fruit Stripe Juicy bubble gum packaging. If you are an instagram girlie, you'd love taking photos in this spot because the array colors and ice cream mural would make a great back drop. I have come here multiple times and the staff are always friendly. The young man who usually works the front counter is very helpful and makes the best recommendations. I believe there is only one drink size for most of the menu and its pretty hefty. The agua frescas are my favorite and you can add leche into your drink for a dollar extra. The platino con leche is literally heaven on earth, especially during this heat! They also serve a huge variety of other summer heat beaters like chamangos. Those not familiar with chamangos, it's a smoothie with chaca chaca (candy made of fruit pulp, salt and chile), chamoy (a sweet and savory sauce made with fruit and chili powder), mango chunks and a candy straw. There are also different flavors for this drink like Cha-watermelon, Cha-limon and etc etc Not only do they have smoothies, freshly made juices, shakes and ice cream; they also have the best food options! If your hungry check out their delicious variety of sandwiches and tortas. Their tortas are huge and extremely filling! They also provide hot cheetos with nacho cheese which is such a throwback. I love it! Lastly, they sell mexican snacks like Cheetos balitas and Sponch at the front. Usually we have to order them online or find the nearest Mexican connivence store. I've been going here for a while now. But more often now that my wife is pregnant and is craving their delicious drinks. I wish I wrote a review sooner. The staff is always friendly and smiling. We tried their tacos today and they were super delicious. Their agua frescas are delicious I usually just get a watermelon agua fresca but my favorite is a cantaloupe smoothie.
