Time to update my review again, and maybe try some more smoothies from their growing menu! By far, my favorite sandwich and smoothie shop! I like all their sandwiches, but my favorite is the avocado sandwich! I never thought I'd like an avocado sandwich, but the one here is amazing! I get one every week, along with a smoothie and/or an açaí bowl. My go to smoothies are mango sunset, berry lite, and strawberry heaven. I have also tried other smoothies with mangoes and peaches (I just don't remember their names) and they were great too! The açaí bowls here are really good, and they use raw organic honey for it :) Every time I've come in here, the service has been exceptional. I'm greeted with a smile and my order is done pretty quickly. They work fast especially for how busy it sometimes gets. It's surfer themed and has cute tables and stairs to sit. I needed an urgent smoothie fix 911! I was originally driving to Nektar Juice in Otai Ranch area. I finally arrived to the place where it was supposed to be and guess what? It was no longer there. I saw Juice Adventure had good reviews so I began my drive to this place. Right when I walked in the door, I noticed it was clean and tidy not to mention the beautiful floral portraits adorning the walls. There was cheerful and upbeat music playing in the background too! So disappointed on my visit last week. When I arrived to place my order, the employee did not acknowledge me at all--there was no greeting or basic customer interaction Instead she was shouting to a guy who seemed to be her friend, rather than engaging with me directly as the customer. My drink itself was poorly made. It was not well blended, had a soggy consistency, and tasted noticeably different than expected. To make matters worse, she asked her guy friend if he wanted to taste my drink then the girl in her possible 50's outlined lips intentionally made an extra amount of my drink and gave it to her "homeboy" which felt unprofessional and inappropriate. I have lived in Chula Vista for years and never knew this sandwich shop/smoothie shop existed. A small quaint shop with a few in store seating and decorated nicely. Staff was friendly and the service was perfect. I will definitely be back because it wasn't your typical sandwich. I got the turkey but it comes with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers and carrots and to my surprise very delicious. I will be back to try another item on the menu in the future. One of my family's favorite places to eat locally has always been this restaurant. However, my girlfriend called yesterday and unfortunately had a negative customer service experience regarding the hours of operation. For most of the day, Google showed the hours as 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., but later they were updated to 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. She called around 5:50 p.m., and the employee who answered spoke in a rude tone, stating they closed at 6:00 p.m. and that she would need to hurry if she wanted to come in before closing. I understand the frustration employees may feel when a customer calls close to closing time, but the posted hours indicated otherwise. It would be greatly appreciated if the hours of operation were listed consistently and if employees could respond more courteously in such situations. read more

Decided to try this place out for lunch today after reading the raving reviews. Got myself a tuna sandwich and açaí bowl. Ordered carry-out through Yelp/Grubhub; filling out my order was pretty clear and straightforward. Took my first bite of the tuna sandwich.....oh my, now I understood why people really like it. Not gonna lie, was first a bit confused on all of the hype on the tuna sandwich here lol, but it's delicious!! Tuna spread doesn't have too much mayo mixed into it which is a huge plus for me. The fixings were all of the right ones (carrots, onions, tomatoes, banana peppers); crispy crunchy goodness. No soggy sandwich here at all with the toasted wheat bread.....and idk how to describe the bread.....I think it's buttered or something? Because even the bread was tasty lol. As for the açaí bowl, I like how they use the açaí base from the Açaí Roots brand. Holy moly, they don't skimp on the açaí base here and here they prepare the base to make it have a very creamy consistency. The strawberries on top could've been more ripe but hey at this point I'm just trying to find things to nitpick lol. The avocado sandwich was my go-to before practice as it made me feel full but also super energized and good about yourself because it's vegetarian!
