The carne asada fries were so delicious! The fries were crunchy and overall have a very good combination of flavors along with the melted cheese on top. The pastrami grilled cheese sandwich was better than the lobster grilled cheese sandwich. The pastrami had the right amount of mustard and cheese for every bite. The service was efficient and fast. You can order to go or sit inside the small seating area. Parking is just right in front, if it's full there's plenty more parking spots around the lot but it can get busy. read more

For all you potato lovers - This place makes the most delicious POM FRITES in the area !!!! The bestest, best I have tried in a long while . I am not crazy over fries but was craving some today and this did not disappoint. Crunchy on the outside --- well done - Bravo every bite was full of flavor. A MUST TRY! The food was good and came out quick!! If you're not that hungry one sandwich is big enough to share if you get a side. The onion rings were crispy and fresh. Cheesey goodness! I was greeted promptly and received my food pretty fast. I took my food to go. When I got home, I pulled the sandwich apart and you can see the cheese pull apart. I've seen ppl use to hype this place up in Irvine a lot before and stubble across this location I never knew about! Let me say the staff here is very nice. This is probably the only thing I liked was the service. The food was mid to us. We order a lobster grill cheese and birria. We couldn't really taste a flavor to it. Ordered my daughter a Mac and cheese and it tasted like mayonnaise instead. The walls here are kinda dirty as well since we sat instead and ate. The truffle fries were good. read more

Food was great the smash burger was awesome the onions and sauce they put on the burger was great. Fries were awesome. They have crème soda root beer and blackberry soda in addition to the Pepsi products. I was there with my son the two people working there were also great. They brought the food to the table. We'll be back with my wife and daughter to try some other menu selections for a casual burger that is a lot more tastier than the rest try it out. It's really good read more

Okay, update because I had to give this place another try... The birria sandwhich was NOT it, BUT their burgers and that chicken pesto set off fireworks in my mouth. I ordered a grilled sausage breakfast melt the server fixed my sandwich and didn't tell me they didn't have any eggs she wrote on the box. I didn't see it until I got home and opened the bag. It was a pick up order and she did not mention it stapled the bag and said thank you. I did not get sausage. I got some type of weird seafood smelling type of thing. See the pictures. read more

Stopped into this place last week - I wasn't even looking for a grilled cheese, but why not?! There is more than the typical grilled cheese sandwich and a ton of unique options. Despite those options, I ordered a basic grilled cheese, the Texas grilled cheese, an order of onion rings, and a cup of tomato soup to dip my sandwich. The Texas grilled cheese definitely was tasty. The bread was crispy on the outside and the cheese was nice and gooey on the inside. The onion rings were also really good. I think only 5 come in an order, but they are pretty big and worth trying. If you don't want a grilled cheese sandwich, they have hamburgers and appetizers also. read more

Grilled cheese gourmet??? Who knew it was a thing?! I visited the Chula Vista location this weekend and was absolutely shocked at the selection of sandwiches they make. I ended up with a basic 5 cheese and the Lobster Grilled Cheese... I mean you can't pass up lobster in grilled cheese. Everything had amazing flavors, the food came out very quickly and the staff was attentive to all of my requests and needs with the order. There were four of us, and after we were seated, my dad politely asked a staff member which omelet she would recommend since it was our first time visiting. Without any kindness or explanation, she abruptly set his drink down and said, "I'm not your server," in a harsh, dismissive tone. We had just been seated and had no way of knowing she wasn't our server. A simple, "Your server will be with you shortly," would have been enough. What happened next was even more upsetting. We waited about 25 minutes without anyone taking our order. During that time, we watched other tables around us receive service. The table next to us had their order taken and was already being served food while our table hadn't even been acknowledged. There were multiple employees on the floor, including staff at the front, yet no one came over to help us. Sitting there while everyone around us was being attended to made us feel invisible. It was embarrassing, degrading, and incredibly uncomfortable. My family and I couldn't help but wonder why we were the only table being ignored. As a Hispanic family, we left feeling that we were treated differently because of the color of our skin. I cannot know what was in anyone's mind, but I do know how we were treated, how we were spoken to, and how it made us feel. No family should have to sit in a restaurant wondering whether they're being treated differently because of their ethnicity. This review isn't written out of anger or to get anyone in trouble. I'm sharing our experience because no one should have to leave a restaurant feeling unwelcome, embarrassed, or less worthy of basic respect. We came in excited to enjoy breakfast together. We left without eating, questioning why we had been treated so differently. I sincerely hope management takes the time to reflect on how their staff interacts with every customer, because everyone deserves to feel welcome, valued, and treated with dignity.
