Here's what we ordered and my rating; poke nachos, not enough tuna 5/10, parm truffle fries, just fries with Parmesan 4/10, kids pepperoni pizza, tasted great but 40% crust 7/10, tomato bisque 9/10, Cobb salad, looked and tasted like a bagged salad 3/10, mushroom pizza, waaaay too salty and mushrooms were undercooked 3/10. Came here for Father's Day after walking around finding someplace to eat without having reservations. There was a big group in front of us once we entered but we were seated right away. Place was open and similar to the other Yard House locations. Service was good, friendly and fast considering it was a big day. We ordered the pretzel, queso dip, burger and one of their pasta dishes. Everything was just as expected and fed our appetites. The pink margarita was delicious and goes down like juice lol. 2nd time here and it was just as great as I remembered! Chris provided excellent service, the food was tasty, and the Cali Creamin' brew is still my favorite. I tried The new Yard House in East Lake. We were seated pretty quickly but it took a long time for our waitress to come to our table. Not sure if they want everyone to order from the little machine on the table. I personally like when they come by and bring water and take your order. To me it's much more personable. They weren't super busy so not sure what the protocol is. We stopped for a quick snack & a drink. The Poke Nachos & Lavender Lemon Drop. Both were delicious. Came here shortly after opening on a weekday, it was not busy at all throughout our time there. we were welcomed and seated right away. a decent size menu. Who doesn't like Yardhouse?! I will say that I've only been able to get a good seat when we go as soon as the open or anytime before 1pm. Anything time after that, good luck. Place gets so packed it's crazy. I have very little patience so if the wait is more than 15 minutes, I'll just go somewhere else. The food variety is great! There are so many options! So whatever you decide to get, I'm sure it will be great! The environment is the Yardhouse theme: yacht rock and beer. No one outmatches their beer selection, so I can't even write about that. A welcome addition to the Otay Ranch Mall food scene. Typically don't give chains a 5 but they're really doing a great job with the opening of this spot. Lots of food options, great happy hour deals. We've been here a few times and each time the bartenders are super friendly and the food comes out super quick. Love their HH chicken nachos, wings, and whiskey glazed salmon. He was polite, helpful, fast & very attentive, we never had a drink empty to the bottom before giving us a refill, he caught it every time & his patience with my brother in law which can be picky was great, my bro in law was impressed & happy with his service too. What really impressed me was the work ethic & speed of the General Manager Jason W Carr. We went here for my wife's birthday. We have been to the Yardhouse in Vegas many times. We arrive during a weekday around 530 and the place is backed. A line going out the door! We checked in online and said there was an hour wait. When we get there they said there is a 90 min wait but we should get in within 30 mins or so. We also check in at Cheesecake Factory just in case lol. Yard house texted us in 25 mins that are table was ready. We got a great table in the middle. Our server is MJ and he is very nice and energetic. My wife orders the Lobstah garlic noodleThe photo looked amazing. I ordered the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich. I also ordered the grand patron Margarita and she ordered Pina spritz mocktail. The wait wasn't too bad knowing the place was at capacity. Within 15 mins we had our food. The chicken sandwich was amazing. Probably one of the best ones I've ever had. It was both crispy on the outside and very tender and juicy on the inside. It had the right amount of heat to it as well. My wife's Lobstah garlic noodles was another. Story. Where was the Lobstah?! It was just noodles and shrimp with a couple small pieces of Lobstah that should have been thrown back in the ocean near Maine. I've seen similar complaints about the dish in other reviews. The noodles and shrimp were good but this coulda used a lot more Lobstah. We had the same dish last year for her birthday in Gaslamp and it was loaded with Lobstah and a bit cheaper. We took away 1 star fit that dish. She wished she ordered the Tenn hot chicken sandwich instead. The mocktail. Was excellent and had a great presentation for all you Instagram lovers. My Grand Margarita was excellent as well. Again MJ was awesome he brought out a birthday cake for my wife. Overall it was a great experience. The only issue was the Lobstah dish which was over $30 with just a couple small pieces. I included a stock photo of what it looks like on the menu for comparison. Met my good friend here for her birthday dinner. She recommended this new location and it was her birthday so yay! I got on their website and joined their "wait list" before arriving. I walked in about 5 mins prior to the "wait list" time and checked in with the hostess. She was friendly and happy to see me. The place was PACKED! There were about 20 people outside waiting for a table and another 15 inside with me waiting. I heard the hostesses telling new arrivers that the wait would be 45 min to 1 hour. I am so glad that I reserved a spot! We were seated within 5 mins of arriving by a hostess. Our server, Christian, was very customer service oriented. He gave us suggestions and he answered all of our questions when we asked for recommendations. Our server Christian checked on us occasionally and he was very good about showing us how to order on the table kiosk for self ordering. This is a wonderful device and feature! If we decide to add things to our order, we can just do or from the table. I ordered: Cobb Salad with Salmon added and my friend ordered the Honey Crusted Salmon Dinner. She ordered a couple of cocktails while we were there and they were delicious she said. I had the Melon Spicy Mocktail, which was DELICIOUS too! The dessert was a Brookie brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, and IT WAS SO DECADENT! This location replaced the Victoria's Secret and is across from The Cheesecake Factory. Parking is best in the lot behind. Came here on a Friday for Happy Hour for a party of 2 and it took about 35-40mins to get seated; they utilize a virtual waitlist where they text your phone. The inside is spacious but very loud in comparison to other locations I've been to, the layout almost feels like 1 huge booth. The staff are nice and the food came out quickly, and everything tasted great! The only downside was how long the wait was. I'm sure it's due to being their newest location, so I would recommend arriving earlier in the day. read more

Really happy a location near home opened up! Went here during happy hour (3-6pm M-F) twice and had such a great experience both times. One of the times was during opening week and when we saw a long line at 5pm, we had a feeling we would miss it. However, we got seated in about 10 mins, ordered on the iPAD and got all our food in less than 10 mins. Same thing with the second time--we went at around 4pm, got seated immediately, our server was very attentive, and we got our food so quickly. I'm honestly so impressed with happy hour here from the quality of the food, the servings, the price (half off), and just how efficient it's always been. My favorite so far from the HHmenu is the poke nachos! Delicious, fresh, and a great serving size for under $10. Let them know if you are celebrating something special for a complimentary dessert. Thanks to our server for letting us know. It's a spacious venue. A lot of tables but it is too open. It gets pretty loud. A lot of parking available. But plan ahead since it gets busy especially on weekends. The food was great, its well seasoned and the portion is big. Food came in still hot which is a big plus. Just be aware if you're like me who is not a big fan of spicy food that some of their pasta dish was fiery. I'm so glad Yard House opened at this mall, which is close to home. I've been here twice so far for happy hour, and both times were great! The service is friendly, prompt and attentive. The food comes out hot and fast. They haven't even been open very long and they have a smooth running operation. HH food is 50% off! So far; I've had the poke nachos (my fave), truffle mushroom pizza (good but can use more truffle), blackened ahi (good but we realize blackened is not our thing), and the queso dip (yum!). All drinks are $2-3 off during HH. I've enjoyed the espresso martini and the lavender drop. One issue I've encountered on one of my visits is Hubby's beer was a bit delayed and the wrong beer, but he kept it as it was a pub vs pint size and drinkable. :) And there is a little inconsistency in portions (poke on nachos first vs 2nd time). We'll def be back to try more from their extensive menu. read more

Oh man this was the place to enjoy a beer and food!! Service was mediocre because I kept calling over waitresses due to ours getting lost! But they just opened so I'll let it go. The beer choices and flights were just as I remembered when working downtown back in the day "great". The food choices and appetizers were endless to choose from and they have everything especially for the kids. The place was dirty especially in the restroom but I did let management know. I have been to other yard house locations and this the first location I don't have much complaints. I feel like a big chain restaurants like this can be hit or miss by how the workers are, to the food and drinks can be, and how busy it can be to keep up with the incoming customers. I end up coming on a Sunday evening rush. I checked online if they had a wait before leaving the house and there was no wait for a small party of 3. But once arriving to the area of the restaurant, saw many people waiting inside and outside so I checked the online and they had a wait of 15-25 minutes. And it only took us 10 minutes to get to the location from my place. It is nice that you can put your name on the waitlist through your phone especially if you are barely driving to the restaurant. The hostess at the front was very nice and checked me in. The wait time was pretty accurate. Our server, I believe his name was Brian. He was awesome and very persistent even though how busy it was. Food was good and end up getting mostly appetizers. We got the calamari, sliders, shiitake garlic noodles, and poke nachos. I highly recommend the noodles and poke nachos. read more

I have dined at the Yard House Otay Ranch location a few times since it opened. The service has been attentive and the food consistently delicious. This time, we stopped in on a Tuesday for Happy Hour. Happy Hour includes 1/2 off most of their apps, $2 off beer and cocktails and $3 off 9 oz wine. We ordered the three cheese pizza, the boneless buffalo wings, poke nachos and a Cobb salad. The pizza has a thinner crust and was cooked to perfection, especially if you like it a little crispy. It was a little light on sauce.. Next time I will ask for extra. I have had the poke nachos several times. It's a generous portion with lots of fish on each wonton chip. The Cobb salad was also a generous portion with ample toppings. The wings were also good.. you get to choose two sauces. We chose buffalo and spicy Korean. Both tasty. The only con for me is it is a bit loud. The music makes for a fun, lively atmosphere. But it could be turned down a few notches so you can hear your dining mates easier. I was very disappointed when I noticed their menu was different now. I ordered a chicken tortilla soup, it was definitely not what I was expecting but I was pleasantly surprised and it was the only thing I liked. Also ordered a mushroom pizza and their house cheesesteak sandwich with shaved ribeye meat. The meat was greasy and salty and the sandwich was so plain. The truffle mushroom pizza was greasy too and the bread and crust were so doughy, not all the way done. I was not happy with the service either. Had to wait so long for the waiter, I do not like flagging down waiters but after waiting over 30 minutes I had to flag down another waiter and asked for boxes to go. We stopped by Yard House Eastlake after the Judas Priest concert on Saturday night to relax and enjoy a couple of cocktails. We were served our drinks and had just started sipping them when a girl who worked there, possibly a manager, came behind the bar and loudly announced that everyone had five minutes to finish whatever they had and get out. I was honestly shocked by the way she said it. Her tone was rude, abrupt, and completely inconsiderate. I only had a drink, so it wasn't a huge issue for me personally, but I looked to my left and saw people who had just been served two plates of food and she told them the same thing! It was unbelievable. The way she handled the situation instantly killed the mood for everyone, guests and staff alike. She literally took the smiles off everyone's faces. That's not how you treat paying customers under any circumstances. I wish I had gotten her name, but between trying to finish my drink, use the restroom, and be out the door within five minutes, there wasn't exactly time to ask. Same reason why I have no pictures to go with this review. I will say that our bartender Mauro was nice and professional, too bad that other employee probably ruined his tips because of her actions at close out time. Shameful behavior. I've never been treated so rudely in a restaurant, and I will never go back to this location.
