Came here for Father's Day after walking around finding someplace to eat without having reservations. There was a big group in front of us once we entered but we were seated right away. Place was open and similar to the other Yard House locations. Service was good, friendly and fast considering it was a big day. We ordered the pretzel, queso dip, burger and one of their pasta dishes. Everything was just as expected and fed our appetites. The pink margarita was delicious and goes down like juice lol. Didn't get a chance to take pics of all our plates since we were all hungry. Solid place to grab a bite.

2nd time here and it was just as great as I remembered! Chris provided excellent service, the food was tasty, and the Cali Creamin' brew is still my favorite. I didn't take any photos of my food but I had the fish and chips and they were good portions and I upgraded to truffle fried. Pretty delish! Looking forward to my next visit!

I tried The new Yard House in East Lake. We were seated pretty quickly but it took a long time for our waitress to come to our table. Not sure if they want everyone to order from the little machine on the table. I personally like when they come by and bring water and take your order. To me it's much more personable. They weren't super busy so not sure what the protocol is. We stopped for a quick snack & a drink. The Poke Nachos & Lavender Lemon Drop. Both were delicious. Parking is great here and on this day we didn't have to wait to be seated. Otherwise it's super busy. They also have a good Happy Hour.

Came here shortly after opening on a weekday, it was not busy at all throughout our time there. we were welcomed and seated right away. a decent size menu. We ordered the tower of onion rings, brussels sprouts, chicken nachos, and a cheddar bacon burger. the onion rings had a tasty beer batter coating, it was good but seemed to loose alot of the crunch rather quickly. the brussels sprouts were delicious! also with a lovely flavor and perfectly caramelized. chicken nachos were a generous portion with lots of toppings. and the burger was juicy, flavorful, and w a nice char. would love to come back during happy our to try more of their appetizers. it's a large restaurant, great for groups. comfortable atmosphere. lots of drinks on the menu to choose from. our staff was attentive and friendly.

Yard House continues to deliver where it counts -- massive draft selection, energetic atmosphere, and consistently well-executed elevated bar fare. We kicked things off with a beer flight (Honey Blonde, Belgian White, Golden Pilsner). Pours were fresh with proper head retention and served at ideal temperature -- a strong start. Paired it with the Poke Nachos (Poke Chips), which were layered thoughtfully rather than piled high. Crisp wonton chips held up under diced ahi, creamy sauce, scallions, cilantro, and a drizzle that added just enough richness without overwhelming the fish. Clean flavor, good texture contrast, and balanced acidity. The Mushroom Pizza delivered solid umami depth from roasted mushrooms over a nicely charred crust. Even cheese melt, structured base, and green onion brightness to cut through the richness. Crust had chew with crisp edges -- properly baked. The Whiskey Burger + Cheddar was the standout. Well-seared patty cooked to temp, sharp cheddar melted evenly, and a whiskey glaze that added controlled sweetness without masking the beef. The toasted brioche bun held together, glossy and lightly crisped. Fries were golden, crisp exterior with fluffy interior. Pickles on the side provided needed acidity. Service was attentive without hovering, and food timing was dialed in. High-volume operation with disciplined execution. Not flashy -- just consistent. Reliable 4.0.

Who doesn't like Yardhouse?! I will say that I've only been able to get a good seat when we go as soon as the open or anytime before 1pm. Anything time after that, good luck. Place gets so packed it's crazy. I have very little patience so if the wait is more than 15 minutes, I'll just go somewhere else. The food variety is great! There are so many options! So whatever you decide to get, I'm sure it will be great! The environment is the Yardhouse theme: yacht rock and beer. No one outmatches their beer selection, so I can't even write about that. Just come here with patience if you wanna come after 3pm and be ready to drink some beer.

A welcome addition to the Otay Ranch Mall food scene. Typically don't give chains a 5 but they're really doing a great job with the opening of this spot. Lots of food options, great happy hour deals. We've been here a few times and each time the bartenders are super friendly and the food comes out super quick. Love their HH chicken nachos, wings, and whiskey glazed salmon. Lots of Hazy IPAs to choose from and the vibe is always on point. Def enjoy the energy here over the Cheesecake Factory bar area. And a shoutout to Katie who did a phenomenal job taking care of us last night!

Saturday 1;30pm for NFL playoffs. Couple dudes at the bar. Busy and attentive staff. Plenty of beer selections, all available. Pints, pub glass, and half yards for sizes. We ordered sliders and chicken nachos. Skies were tasty but dry. Not mad at it with such large menu. Fries that come with sliders were deliciously salty and fresh. A couple thick sliced pickles compliment the dish. Chicken nachos are tasty. Spread out on large plate so every chip has a little sumthin sumthin. Scoops of sour cream and guacamole plopped in center.

We went here for my wife's birthday. We have been to the Yardhouse in Vegas many times. We arrive during a weekday around 530 and the place is backed. A line going out the door! We checked in online and said there was an hour wait. When we get there they said there is a 90 min wait but we should get in within 30 mins or so. We also check in at Cheesecake Factory just in case lol. Yard house texted us in 25 mins that are table was ready. We got a great table in the middle. Our server is MJ and he is very nice and energetic. My wife orders the Lobstah garlic noodleThe photo looked amazing. I ordered the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich. I also ordered the grand patron Margarita and she ordered Pina spritz mocktail. The wait wasn't too bad knowing the place was at capacity. Within 15 mins we had our food. The chicken sandwich was amazing. Probably one of the best ones I've ever had. It was both crispy on the outside and very tender and juicy on the inside. It had the right amount of heat to it as well. My wife's Lobstah garlic noodles was another. Story. Where was the Lobstah?! It was just noodles and shrimp with a couple small pieces of Lobstah that should have been thrown back in the ocean near Maine. I've seen similar complaints about the dish in other reviews. The noodles and shrimp were good but this coulda used a lot more Lobstah. We had the same dish last year for her birthday in Gaslamp and it was loaded with Lobstah and a bit cheaper. We took away 1 star fit that dish. She wished she ordered the Tenn hot chicken sandwich instead. The mocktail. Was excellent and had a great presentation for all you Instagram lovers. My Grand Margarita was excellent as well. Again MJ was awesome he brought out a birthday cake for my wife. Overall it was a great experience. The only issue was the Lobstah dish which was over $30 with just a couple small pieces. I included a stock photo of what it looks like on the menu for comparison. My sandwich was very reasonably priced at $16 and was amazing The atmosphere was amazing and we will be back for sure

Met my good friend here for her birthday dinner. She recommended this new location and it was her birthday so yay! I got on their website and joined their "wait list" before arriving. I walked in about 5 mins prior to the "wait list" time and checked in with the hostess. She was friendly and happy to see me. The place was PACKED! There were about 20 people outside waiting for a table and another 15 inside with me waiting. I heard the hostesses telling new arrivers that the wait would be 45 min to 1 hour. I am so glad that I reserved a spot! We were seated within 5 mins of arriving by a hostess. Our server, Christian, was very customer service oriented. He gave us suggestions and he answered all of our questions when we asked for recommendations. Our server Christian checked on us occasionally and he was very good about showing us how to order on the table kiosk for self ordering. This is a wonderful device and feature! If we decide to add things to our order, we can just do or from the table. I ordered: Cobb Salad with Salmon added and my friend ordered the Honey Crusted Salmon Dinner. She ordered a couple of cocktails while we were there and they were delicious she said. I had the Melon Spicy Mocktail, which was DELICIOUS too! The dessert was a Brookie brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, and IT WAS SO DECADENT! The Birthday dessert was also the Brookie brownie with a candle and a nice HBD msg in cocoa powder on the plate. I had an excellent experience here. I normally do not come to chain restaurants but this visit at this nee location was definitely a game changer for me. Thanks!

Went here a second time on a busy Saturday night, and I would say I enjoyed it more than my first visit, which was right after they first opened. The service is great and the food is pretty good. But the beer and ambiance are just okay. Likes: Poke Nachos, online Waitlist, great service, beer sampler Dislikes: Amber beer (flat!), slightly slippery floor, no Apple TV (no MLS games) Overall, I really want this place to do well, so I recommend checking it out. But I'm not a fan of hoppy beers and was really upset I couldn't watch SDFC in their inaugural playoff run.

Really happy a location near home opened up! Went here during happy hour (3-6pm M-F) twice and had such a great experience both times. One of the times was during opening week and when we saw a long line at 5pm, we had a feeling we would miss it. However, we got seated in about 10 mins, ordered on the iPAD and got all our food in less than 10 mins. Same thing with the second time--we went at around 4pm, got seated immediately, our server was very attentive, and we got our food so quickly. I'm honestly so impressed with happy hour here from the quality of the food, the servings, the price (half off), and just how efficient it's always been. My favorite so far from the HHmenu is the poke nachos! Delicious, fresh, and a great serving size for under $10. Honestly, a top tier place for HH since you can get so much food without breaking the bank. Highly recommend!

I decided to take my parents out for their 38-year anniversary, and they chose to try the place I've been telling them about Garbatella. My birthday is also the day before their anniversary, so this dinner was meant to be special. We walked in at 5:15 PM after seeing on the website that Happy Hour was from 3:00-5:30 PM. Our reservation was at 5:45 PM, so we wanted to catch the end of HH. We stood there for almost five minutes without being greeted, which in any restaurant for a guest is a long time. When we were finally acknowledged, the server already seemed irritated by our existence. We told her we had a 5:45 PM reservation but wanted to enjoy Happy Hour and asked if we should order at the bar or if we could do it at the table. She completely ignored the question, sat us, and handed us regular menus. When I asked again, she said HH was already over. I mentioned the website says 5:30 PM--and at that point it was only 5:22 PM. She responded that it actually ends at 5:00 PM and that the website is outdated. She then seated us directly between the only two other tables in an otherwise empty restaurant, so there was no sense of space or privacy. Again, if it was a full house totally understand but it was practically vacant. Trying to laugh past it, we ordered drinks and bread. The bread came out before the drinks--which is a restaurant SIN. When I tried to order the Pappardelle Rione (a dish I've ordered here many times and is still listed online), she told me they no longer have it and again said the website is old. I asked if there was anything similar or if the kitchen could make something close, and she pointed me to roast beef with mashed potatoes... after I had clearly said I wanted pasta. She rushed through taking the rest of our order, and I already felt like an inconvenience. Mind you, there were only three tables in the entire restaurant. She could have tried to meet me in the middle on an item but acted as if she had no time to deal with my order or make any suggestions per my requests. Two minutes after ordering, I decided to switch to the bolognese with burrata--just to stick with pasta like I originally wanted. She told me they had already started my dish and that changing it would be an additional charge. At that point, with the inconsistencies in HH timing, outdated website menu, seating, and overall attitude, I just said to add it to the bill. Since we all know she wanted to rack it up at that point or to shut me up basically. I've worked in the industry for some time now and not ignorant to servers antics. Both of my entrees came out. The meatballs were likely microwaved, the burrata was missing, and the roast beef with mashed potatoes was nothing special. Couldn't be that fresh if it came out that quickly is all I'm saying. My Coke was empty by the time the food arrived, and she never once offered a refill. Eventually, my mom had to flag down another younger server to get drinks. When our original server finally came back, we ordered tiramisu. My refill came barely before dessert was dropped. She then completely disappeared to chat with another table. No acknowledgment of our celebration, no dessert gesture for my parents' anniversary -- NOTHING. I actually had to get up from the table to find her so I could pay. She seemed uncomfortable when she realized I was the one paying--and tipping. I typically tip 20-30%, but this was the first time I've ever left 10%. She didn't even provide me with a copy of the receipt after saying she would. I have never felt more brushed off by a server in my life. Didn't get her name. She was older, dark hair, heavy eyeliner, and cold unwelcoming demeanor. What happened to good customer service? Don't know if it was our race, my age (much younger), or if we just caught her on a bad day. Either way would not recommend due to the inconsistencies of the times, menus, and service. Based off of the other reviews it looks like they pick and choose who to give it to. Especially the demographics... VERY interesting and disheartening.

We got there around 9:20pm & instead of being welcomed, the first thing we were told was that they actually close at 10 cuz it was "slow." That was already frustrating cuz if their hours were updated correctly, we wouldn't have wasted the drive. We left to look for other options next door, but since everything else was closed, we came back literally 3 mins later. From that point on, it was obvious the server was annoyed we came back. The service was disappointing from start to finish. She barely checked on us, never came back to ask how the food was, and my boyfriend had to wave her down just to get a refill. It felt like we were inconveniencing them the entire time. To top it off, when we asked if we could get churros to go since they seemed in a rush to close, we were told no. Even drinks and certain menu items were apparently limited cuz they were trying to shut down early. SMH. The food was okay at best, but the service and overall experience completely ruined it. If your business says you're open until 12, honor those hours or update them. Customers shouldn't feel unwelcome for showing up during your posted business hours. Being slow isn't an excuse for bad service. If customers walking in during POSTED business hours feels like an inconvenience, maybe the hospitality industry isn't the right fit. The food was great! The vibe is awesome, and the overall experience was great. We also got a chance to talk to Ben the Manager, Nathan the lead server, and Matt our server tonight. They all came to check on us to make sure that everything was going well in our dining experience. We HIGHLY recommend stopping here to enjoy a great dining experience.

The first time we went I ordered the garlic green beans which were actually no longer on the menu. They were quite tasty. I also ordered a side of fried chicken which was also good. The second time we went I got the chicken wings and the side ceaser salad. The wings were not crispy enough and there was zero flavor in the breading. The salad was boring. Hubby got the cobb salad which was a large portion but otherwise just ok. note that there is no outdoor seating so leave Fido home. Probably would not bother coming back here.

They are located across the street from southwestern College and they are near the 7-Eleven and the oil change place in that shopping center. When I walked in, there were several customers eating and dining inside. I also noticed that the line was pretty long for taco Tuesday. This was a good sign. After about five minutes, I was able to place my order. It was just me and so I ordered: 2 Fish Tacos and 2 Grilled Chicken Tacos, each for $2. I waited about 10 minutes and there were so many other customers on this Taco Tuesday. I took my tacos to go. When I got home (about 10 mins away) they were still delicious and held up well. I am excited to try their other food items on their fully stocked menu. While I was there, I saw many families enjoying so much food. There is seating for about 25 people inside the restaurant. They have salsa bar at the front right of the place, just adjacent to the front counter. Overall, this is my new go-to Taco Tuesdays place. $2 Taco Tuesdays Tacos includes: Carnitas, Fish, Grilled Chicken, and Adobada tacos. They no longer have Birria nor Carne Asada as an option but that's okay.

We came here for Mother's Day dinner and overall had a good experience. The restaurant itself is…read morereally nice inside and has a great atmosphere. We did have some issues with the service though. We were seated about an hour after our reservation time and even though we requested outdoor seating, we still ended up inside. Since it was Mother's Day, we tried to be understanding because the restaurant was obviously busy. Our waitress was nice enough, but we did notice other tables around us were getting checked on more often. Again, it seemed like she may have been handling larger parties, so we didn't make a big deal out of it. The food honestly saved the night. My Italian wife said the short rib lasagna was easily one of the top 3 lasagnas she's ever had. That says a lot. My wife got the steak frites and while the steak itself was good, the potato chunks were undercooked. The tiramisu was fantastic too. We didn't mention the potatoes to the server because everything else was going smoothly enough. Overall, despite some service issues, we still enjoyed ourselves and would probably come back again for the food alone.

My husband and I went to Savoie Italian Eatery - Otay Ranch on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 5:30 PM…read moreto celebrate our 26-year wedding anniversary, and the experience was outright disrespectful. The hostess completely ignored us upon arrival and took more than 20 minutes to even acknowledge our table. There were only two other tables and ours in the entire restaurant. It was not busy! When she finally took our drink order, our appetizer was delivered before the drinks--and the drinks never came. We had to ask the bus boy Fernando to find them, and he brought them directly from the bar, where they had been sitting the entire time. Fernando tried to assist us and the tip that was left is for him directly! The hostess was rude, inattentive, and never once checked on us. She made it clear through her behavior that we were not a priority. She gave noticeable attention to other guests while deliberately neglecting us (black customers), which was unacceptable. This was supposed to be a special occasion, and instead we were treated like we didn't matter. This is now the second time we've experienced poor service at this location, and we will not be going back there. Do not spend your hard-earned money where you are clearly not wanted.

I'm glad we got reservations. The manager came over to let us know that they were short staffed and there would be a wait for the food. Actually, the wait wasn't super long. It also helped that we weren't super hungry and we were enjoying each other's company. While we waited, the wait staff made sure we had clean plates and constantly brought out the water bottles. They even gave me another tea when I was only half way! First time trying the Diavola pizza and I loved it! The crust is thin and crispy with the perfect crust. It also tastes super good reheated in a toaster oven. Always great good and service and a must go for locals and no locals.

Lovely restaurant bar with a small TV to watch the World Cup…read more The food here is absolutely amazing. Some of the best Italian I've had. The calamari was crispy and light on the outside and tender on the inside with a delicious dipping marinara. The pizza was wonderful with lots of toppings. I had the spaghetti amatriciana with shrimp that was beautifully displayed absolutely the best I've ever had. So hungry I started eating and forgot to take a picture. If you like spaghetti that is slightly spicy and absolutely delicious definitely how that dish. The service is fabulous. They continually would check in to see if we needed anything and offered another bowl of dipping sauce when we ran out for calamari. Jason are waiter. Mention the owner is from Sicily and the recipes are from his part of Italy. It is evident this is authentic and the real deal. This is a place I would go out of my way for to travel to and eat fabulous! And a beautiful part of Chula Vista off the beaten back path from San Diego, but worth it.
