Kids ARE welcome! Fresh, fast food! We frequented the search bar a few times over the past month. We stumbled in during happy hour on a Friday afternoon. There are great options for $10. The flavors of the food here are extremely good. We enjoy the dirty search sauce on everything. The dirty search wings are amazing as well. I recently had the Ursula fries which had tri tip & shrimp. My husband ordered the fish tacos which were also very good. We have also had it delivered and the burger and wings were exceptional as well. This is like a hidden gem in our community. Service is always exceptionally great. We have been served by sienna numerous times. Karla has also been a great host and Julian the bus person. There's nothing bad to say about this eatery and I hope that they stay in our community. The restaurant is spacious you're not crowded on top of each other. The hubby & joined some friends here for dinner. We've been wanting to try this place for the past few years...... Welp, we've tried them. We were greeted & seated right away. Our waitress was attentive and brought us waters as we waited for the rest of our party. We ordered a small pizza as an appetizer to share for the table. It was brought to us in a timely manner. Things then took an interesting turn.... We asked for parmesan cheese for the pizza. Luckily I checked it before we used it, because I had noticed it clumpy inside. It was bad & MOLDY!! We brought this up to our waitress (who was different now). She apologized & brought us fresh cheese. She felt bad about our experience and brought us each a complimentary Mexican candy shot. That was a nice gesture. What we ordered: * Supreme Pizza * Goliath Burger * Wings (Garlic Parmesan/ Honey BBQ) * The Cloud * Negroni Overall we enjoyed our time. However, there waa plenty room for improvement. Apparently the restaurant was hosting a watch party in the back room. Which caused them to be super under staffed. The employees weren't as attentive anymore. My husband had to go to the bar to ask for items that were missing.....Our waitress was apparently one of the bartenders too. And she had gotten slammed with drink orders from this event. This caused our main food items to come out a little late. Based on food temp you can tell our food was sitting for a little while. This place is kind of deceiving because it's pretty empty during the week, but the service is great and this is a family business and someone from the family is usually there. I inquired about hosting a family reunion at Search bar. From the beginning Paul was attentive, personable and professional. He really cared to make sure my family would have a great time. We booked a banquet room after meeting. When we arrived the room was set up with tables and chairs, black linen table cloths, a projector for our family pictures/ slide show. We had many choices for dinner and went with choice tri- tip, chicken and salmon. Food was seasoned, hot and fresh. I personally had chicken with mushroom gravy, I was soooo impressed on how good the gravy was! I chose mashed potatoes and Cesar salad as my side dishes. They also have the venue couple doors down if you're in need of a large larger spot for a wedding or quinceañera! After our party was over, we were able to join the restaurant guest and there was a live DJ spinning 90s 2000 and today's hits! Today I hope was a one off. They had an event going on in there event space. They were attentive at first then they switched servers. We had ordered a Supreme Pizza to share. Asked for Parmesan cheese and upon getting it my wife discovered that it had mold in it. The server apologized and got us a new one. She even gave us complimentary shots for the inconvenience. Wife and and I shared the Goliath burger. Burgers are cooked medium we asked for medium rare it was unfortunately medium fries were kinda cold.We were getting together with friends and they got an order of wings of two flavors. Wife and I had drinks after we ate. I had a drink called the Cloud which was an alcoholic horchata, wife tried a drink she has been wanting to try a negroni. Both were good. I believe we will come back and give them a chance to have a better experience. I randomly happen to walk in by myself because I was bored and wanted something to do. The bartender was so inviting and polite. I noticed that he made sure that everyone around, all the customers, were taking care of, but also that he checked up on them with conversation and friendly vibes, which was very refreshing. I have not tried the food yet but a lot of people were coming in to sit down and eat, but also to order to go. They even came in with their kiddos as it was only 3pm when I was there. I am fairly new to SD and have been looking for a good place to eat a burger close by. I had been sketch because most places have unseasoned burgers and it's a HARD no for me. However, I decided to pop in here anyway. I ordered the patty melt which goes by another name I can't remember and it was seasoned to perfection and my sourdough was toasted perfectly. The fries could've been a little fresher but overall burger experience was 10/10. My partner order the Dirty Search Sauced wings and the sauce is really good. 10/10. The sauce would be even better if it had a little heat kick. It's a TRUE sports bar. TVs EVERYWHERE you won't miss a moment of any game and it's plenty of room on the inside. There's even a decent sized arcade for a little entertainment if you're not into sports. Our server was Connie who was being observed by Paul as it was her first day I believe. She did an amazing job. She was very attentive and made good drinks as well. Paul was nice too. Overall really good experience. Note: I went closer to 4pm and they were not crowded. A social led me here, here was my experience. AMBIANCE: Parking: Plaza parking so there is plenty of it. Seating: Lots of this too! Outdoors, patio, and a private room too. The spot itself is large but currently in works as you can still see it being rennovated. Great place to escape your regular work day such as catching up with a friend, a game, or some entertainment. FOOD: Search Platter + Sliders (Recommended) Indecisive? Yeah, me too. I enjoyed every flavor of this plate. All entrés were good. The totsand onion rings were good and crunchy. The sliders were decent. The wings were probably my favorite with the search sauce wings being the most memorable mirroring Hooter's signature buttery hot sauce. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Awesome! Great people - friendly and attentive. TL; DR OVERALL: 4 Stars. Great! Good selections, delicious food, and fun vibes - like a Dave & Busters or Applebees but with a more local feel. Went here for the Rex Navarrete stand up and excited to check out Search Bar for the first time. It took over an hour for the server to come and take the order for food/drinks. It took another hour to get some of the order and by the time the show was almost over, one of our food order still didn't arrive. The tri-tip in the tacos were hard. It was very disorganized at the venue and would have been good if they were prepared for the large crowd. It was not a good experience for us and unsure if we'll return. read more

I came here for the Bubba Sparxxx and Petey Pablo concert and it was an unforgettable night. The vibe at Search Bar was electric from start to finish. The sound system was crisp and powerful which made the performances feel larger than life while still keeping the lyrics clear. The venue itself is the perfect size. It is intimate enough to feel connected to the artists but big enough to host an energetic crowd. The staff kept everything organized and flowing smoothly from the door check in to the bar service. I really appreciated how attentive and friendly the bartenders were even with a packed house. The crowd was hyped and the performances were on fire. The whole experience was nothing short of amazing. We found this place on Yelp as it was close to the gym our team was playing in. They accommodated our 25+ party on very shorty notice. Thru gave us options for multiple tickets too. Food; ordered a house salad with blue cheese, small portion; not worth the price. They put balsamic vinegar even though I ordered blue cheese. Burger; probably the best thing here. Slightly oversalted. I'd rate it 4/5 It came with burnt onion rings. When I asked the host to make me a new batch he got an attitude. Ordered a cocktail, was not good. Got a beer instead. We did come during happy hour but it wasn't advertised anywhere. After I asked, was only told about the drink options and had to look up on my phone for food included. This was about 4:45 and happy hour runs until 6, you'd think they would do more to sell it. The space itself needs an update, the booths are run down, scratches on the walls and that "club" and bar smell lingers through the cleaner they use.
