They take the time to get to know you and your child. You're not just another paying customer like the last dance studio that we attended. They offer outdoor and Zoom classes. I feel safe taking my children here for their weekly outdoor class. They care about our safety by sanitizing their studio and equipment, providing hand sanitizer for everyone and wearing their masks. We've been with Ms Felicia since my daughter was 6 and she's a high school senior now. Learning from the great instructors at Inspire has helped her to develop her poise, grace, and stage presence. Pre-pandemic, my husband and I enjoyed participating in various capacities (performing, ushering, supervising the dancers) in the many performances the studio puts on each year, and we've always been impressed with how professional the staff and volunteers are, and the care and respect they show for the dancers. The office is professionally-run, the studio clean & well-equipped, and there are a variety of classes for all students. We've been very impressed with how hard Ms Felicia and the staff have worked to keep the dancers and families safe as they've followed all the county's requirements for remaining open. They do a great job of communicating with the families via email, the BAND app, and social media, and they have fun extracurricular activities too! It's always fun to spot our daughter or even us on the social media accounts! They both look forward to class every week. The office staff and the teachers are amazing. They are the sweetest. The school keeps up with parents trough email and we never miss any of the extra classes they offer. Now with Covid they offer in class and virtual classes. I have been meaning to write this review for about a month now but keeping this low profile because…read moreI will get backlash on it. My daughter said this studio was great at first. She was having fun learning new things since it was her first time dancing again in a while. Then after a while she started to complain that she already knew these techniques and that they never learned anything new. This studio has horrible teaching, they keep reteaching the same technique from the RAD exam sheets and don't even try to learn anything new which doesn't give children room to reach their full potential. Also, students who have parents that work or / volunteer often give students with low experience hard and good roles to bad students and give good high experience students very low expectation roles. It's very disappointing how high my hopes were for this studio to only see how cheap and disgusting it really is. Also, I have heard this from other moms at the studio but staff from the studio have made children uncomfortable by saying things about how they look. Just absolutely sad and depressing a child has to think how they look because of these ignorant selfish people. Not even kidding, they are always having sewer problems, they always have to cut up the roof during class and water is dripping from the sealing, and to mention they always have construction going on and they just can't do it on a day not during class. Prices are way too high for low venue cheap places just to go see our kids dance. This studio also only focuses on one student who has been there for 15 years and all the photos on the photo review section is all about her and they maybe have a few other students but other than that she is the star of the show practically. I swear there is other and way better places to put our beloved children in other than this dump. Do Better.

The studio may be small and a bit cluttered, but what it lacks in appearance, it makes up for with heart. Miss Lida, the owner and teacher, is incredibly caring and passionate, offering various classes like gymnastics, dance, tiny tots and princess classes. The prices are affordable, class sizes are small, and the value is unbeatable. Our charter school covers the gymnastics class, and unlike other studios, Selah Groove doesn't charge hundreds for performances. My daughter has performed at the Del Mar Fair and a local festival, with only a small costume rental fee. We're excited for her next show at Knott's Berry Farm!
