really wanted to love this spot because I'm a huge fan of the original Mujer Divina Burrito & Coffee Shop. I stopped by on a Sunday mid-morning during the farmers market, so the area was busy and all three Divina restaurants had crowds. When I first walked in, the line was out the door and the cashier mentioned the wait would be about 15-20 minutes. I didn't have time to wait because I was heading to an appointment, so I left and returned later that same day. On my return, there was only one person in front of me. I ordered a Banana Matcha--one of their featured mini flavors--and waited about 10 minutes for my drink. When it came out, it had cookie crumble on top. I'm gluten intolerant, so I politely asked if it could be remade. The barista let me know the cookie had already fallen into the drink, so not only was the order incorrect, but it also posed a health risk for me. I understand mistakes happen and cross-contamination can occur anywhere, but the response felt very casual, as if it wasn't a big deal. As for the taste: the matcha itself was okay, but honestly not great. The banana mixture was way too thick and didn't blend well with the matcha, which made the drink chunky and difficult to sip through a straw. I've had matcha from several other local spots, and this one just didn't compare. Inside, the space is cute but not really designed for hanging out. It's more of a grab-and-go setup with a few standing bar counters. When it gets busy, it feels crowded quickly and not comfortable to enjoy a drink. Would I return? Maybe--if I happen to be nearby. But I wouldn't go out of my way. I hope they improve the recipe and consistency, because a matcha shouldn't be so thick that it doesn't mix smoothly.

Divina is branching out with this new spot wedged between Divina Coffee and Burritos and Divina Brunch Cafe in Chula Vista. The matcha here is great. They use a terrific ceremonial grade pure matcha with no additive, especially sweeteners, which I like very much. I had two match lattes from her thus far: the coco matcha with notes of coconut and the vanilla match that comes with a delicious vanilla foam on top. Although both were delicious, my favorite so far was the coco matcha. It was well balanced with a great clean matcha flavor and subtle hints of coconuts. The vanilla foam on the vanilla matcha was very good and not overly sweet as I prefer. I certainly look forward to trying strawberry matcha and banana matcha in the near future. The service was very friendly with good pleasantries and they offer inside and outside seating. It's a great place to have a nice match lattes or if you prefer something lighter, a matcha cloud or matcha spritz.

I showed up the day prior but by my own fault I didn't check the hours and they had closed 40 min prior that was my bad. I went again the following day and I ordered 3 drinks. I didn't necessarily like any of the drinks I ordered, I prefer a sweeter matcha that's just my preference. It took a while to get the drinks but then again I saw the man making our drinks back there cheffing it up with the whisk so that's valid. The only thing that struck me as kind of odd was when a young lady asked if they had any water and this is just me but it seemed like he was a little harsh in reply and told her to go next store as they don't offer water in the matcha location but then again I'm not sure so I don't want to put that all on him. The environment was a little messy, there's no trashcan so people just left their drinks on the tables but they were there before we got there and after we left so it struck me as a bit disorganized. Overall I probably wouldn't go here again but if you like it a bit more bitter or just slightly sweet this is your place.

I go out of my way to make the drive to Divina Matcha. They only use Ceremonial Grade Matcha and you can taste that in every sip. They also have a Hochija Matcha that's so good. This cute little spot is worth going to. Also the service here is ALWAYS great and friendly.

Divina Matcha on 216 3rd Ave. What a cute place. Matcha is really good and on point..... Also, I LOVE that they support other businesses. They had Tus Chefs Favoritas Matcha strawberry conchas .

Quick update from last month!! Went and tried the strawberry matcha again, and it had such a rich flavor of ceremonial matcha, love ittttt so I had to ask if they changed something, and they told me they got a higher quality matcha (you can tell!!!! ) If you're looking for a traditional ceremonial matcha, THIS IS IT !!! you can taste the strawberry flavor without loosing the flavor of the ceremonial matcha.! Definitely be back soon !

$9 for 3 sips of matcha and lots of banana cream, and this was with whole milk. Waste of money unfortunately.

it's crazy that this place has 3.7 stars. It is 5 stars all the way. the AMOUNT OF MATCHA that they unapologetically add to every cup is outstanding. I am a matcha lover, and I've tried countless places. This place has appreciated the true culture and origin of matcha, and you can taste it in every unique creation they add to the menu. This spot is my go to, and the best matcha I've ever had. For any true matcha lovers, this is a MUST (and i am not exaggerating)!

Amazing ceremonial matcha, I order the spritz and wow. I can tell this is 100% real matcha just for the color and the taste

Their strawberry matcha is SOOOOO GOOD!! You can definitely taste the matcha and it is the perfect sweetness!

Double Matcha (GH)

Got a double matcha but it was literally 90% ice, for $9. And too much cream. The flavor itself was good, I love a strong matcha. I'm not sure if the matcha powder is top tier so maybe next time I'll get a regular matcha. Other than that it was okay.

Strawberry matcha

I was craving matcha and saw this shop. They had a lot on the menu but I got a strawberry matcha. Took a sip and was super delicious and tasty. Totally come & support a small business!

One of the best marcha and coffee places I've tired. Would highly recommend it.

Where else have you seen this? Because of the brewing process, there's no alcohol but you still get the floral taste of the hops and boy was it delicious. It reminded me of a rose latte. My friend got a hot Nana's mocha and it was a chocolate heaven! I loved it as well. I love the space; very cool vibes with lots of art, big space and they also serve burgers! I have to give that a try next time. They also serve alcohol (wine, beer) and saw some unusual brands that I've never seen before.

Unfortunately, they weren't serving off of the lunch menu (we were a little too early) so we had to order off of the breakfast menu. Food took long and the tots that my friend ordered took super long that we asked for a box to go. Food: Chili Crisp BFast Sando- (Biroche, Egg, Cheese, Bacon, Chiptole Aioli, Sesame Chili Crisp) Tots with House Seasoning - with Ranch Cup of Coffee Buko Pandan Latte Hot & Cold First the drinks were yummy. The hot Buko Pandan was stronger in flavor than the cold/iced drink. The tots were yummy and crisped perfectly but I'm not sure about the supposedly ranch dip. It was tangy for me. The Chilio Crisp Bfast Sando was delicious. It was so good that I want to return soon and have it again. The worker taking our order was very nice. He even mentioned about a restaurant in Vegas and asked if I've ever tried it-Public Us and yes I have. Overall, a great spot that can get very busy in the AM. The front window area has seats on one side and seats outside. It worked for us. Definitely will return.

Lets talk about the vibes first...amazing decor and vibes, decor and walls and atmosphere is very cool and unique I truly love it so much. The staff is very nice, offering suggestions on drinks with big smiles and welcoming energy. Now the drinks and food: the drink I got last time was an iced mocha (no picture but I remember it was very good). This time I went with my mom and we both got the "Moon" drink.. a Chai/Matcha which was such a good drink, I want like a 40oz of it to take with me home for the week. I also ordered the pesto turkey sandwhich to share and I can not express how good this was. Perfectly crispy, juicy and fresh. Took the first bite and literally gasped because not only was the bread toasted to perfection but the veggies and turkey were so flavorful. The veggies and pesto and turkey were also layered in a way that made every bite delectable and that to me is art. Loved it, want more of it and I WILL be back to try more drinks and sandwhiches.

It's third ave I mean if you are from San Diego you know it's either neighborhood parking or the meters. Not a big deal though. I am greeted by Karely and her big smile, one of the baristas. It is tiny location but long, they have two gender neutral bathrooms at the end. A few tables to sit down inside and out. A cute bench with the view of third ave traffic. Interior decor is super cute I loved, one of my favs was this board they have which is a basically you pay a coffee forward and you put the sticky there for the next person to get their drink. I totally don't work there so I would just reconfirm what can be redeemed. Drink: I get an iced dirty chai WITH banana cold foam. 10/10 must try. They also offer matcha for you matcha lovers. Grind house has found a new customer and yes, I've already brought so many friends here. My only suggestion would be to maybe have a phone charging station, that's all! :)
