I ordered a few drinks at this Starbucks. After about 10-15 min of waiting for our drinks, I had received 3 of the 4 drinks we ordered. I was approached by one of the employees who proceeded to tell me that due to the high volume of customers, they would have to ask us to leave if my daughter kept being loud. I didn't argue with the employee, but I was very offended that I was being threatend to be kicked out while waiting for my order because my 3 year old daughter is making too much noise. I had such a terrible experience and I hope no other families with toddlers come in this place because it appears children are not tolerated here. read more

Staff is friendly but scattered. This place can also be super inconsistent - walked in the other day and it smelled so bad, I fled (I think there was a problem with the bathroom). Lines can get really long, too, as downtown Burbank can get busy. I would choose a different Starbucks location over this one, unless you are strolling around downtown Burbank (and even then, I'd recommend hitting up the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf down the street). read more

THE WORST Starbucks ever. I should know I go to Starbucks every day at different locations. They almost always get my order wrong and I UNFORTUNATELY have to go there when I go to work because it is the closest. There is this one worker there and wow she is the slowest person I've ever met. I hate this location, never again. I think the staff here is terrible. I waited 13 minutes for a Tall Cafe Mocha. That's it. Yes, the place was packed but no one was ordering, just hanging out. Nice staff, but they don't serve herbal tea here anymore. :( The person who helped me thought they had herbal teas, but all of their new line is caffeinated= it's either flavored white, green or black tea, not herbal. Well there's a strong WiFi, whether you use Starbucks or the City Of Burbank WiFi... you can be plugged in anywhere in DTBurbank. This Starbucks tends to be picKed all the time. It drives me nuts that people camp out all day monopolizing tables so they can drink a small coffee and have their computers tapping away. Ugh. Seriously they need to redesign where there is open tables for NON computer people or create tiny cubicles for single WiFi users. I hate it when I buy a drink and then can't even find a spot to sit. I have come to this store a few times now and it is always stuffy and hot inside. I do not think they have air conditioning. How is this allowed during COVID? There is no air flow. It is hard enough to breathe with a mask on. It was actually cooler outside waiting the sun. Avoid on the weekend! So hot and busy I dont know how so many people are ok in there. Never before today was I charged 5.55 in stead of 4.95, and on top of that the guy had the nerve to tell me the drink I order comes with white chocolate. I've ordered this for two years. Horrible service!! This place has no system in place whatsoever, they ask for your name but do not put it on the cup and you wait forever for your coffee and when you get to the front you have to guess which is yours. Today was the most horrible experience I have had by far at any starbucks location. It took forever for them to make my PSL and when I asked the barista where is my other order, they ddnt even had it on cue since the cashier ddnt put it on a cup. I've had other customers with me complain about the terrible service this morning. On a busy Saturday morning, the least management can do is to make sure there is some sort of system that the employees can rely on so customers don't have to be pissed off just trying to get their caffeine fix. read more

I love this Starbucks and normally I'm never disappointed with them but they have a completely new staff who is terrible. I ordered a peppermint hot chocolate and all I got was lukewarm milk flavored with peppermint. Not even any chocolate! It was seriously snow white! The peppermint was lacking too! I moved to Colorado for 2 years and before I did they had the best friendliest crew working there! I'm disappointed with the new staff! This is the place you need to come to if you want to get harassed by the homeless WHILE IN THE STORE. We all know about "that incident" which changed Starbucks' policy on who they allow to loiter in their stores without buying anything, and up until this point, I haven't been personally affected. Today, I walked to this location to get my morning coffee. I had only been to this location once before and didn't have any issues with the store (well, a similar incident happened on the street but that isn't the fault of Starbucks). While waiting for my drink, I was approached by an older woman who was pushing a buggy laden with her possessions through the store. She appeared to have been leaving the Starbucks restroom where she must have taken up temporary residency. As she was headed for the door, she turned and stopped before me and began berating me in a language I hardly speak. This woman was obviously suffering from a mental illness. She used many racial epitaphs and slurs to refer to me as she shook her finger in my face. I was absolutely shocked by this confrontation. While she wasn't physically opposing, I was afraid I would get pulled into a physical confrontation with this woman for no other reason than me trying to patronize this Starbucks location. This encounter lasted over a minute, during which all the other customers were made aware of the exchange. You know what didn't happen? Not a single Starbucks employee intervened or tried to come to my defense. I had just paid nearly $6 for a cup of coffee and apparently was not worth defending. Maybe the employees at this location are apathetic. Maybe this happens often (given the amount of vagabonds in the area this is not unlikely). However, it is also likely that the employees were following their new protocol of turning a blind eye to obvious issues within their establishment less they once again capture the national spotlight. They refused to heat up the sandwhich that I always order and get heated up and every other Starbucks I go to. Claiming they "don't have a button for it" even though I told them that the other stores heat it up on the dark bagel setting. Seriously? I frequently go here to write because I enjoy the atmosphere, they don't kick me out (although I try to be conscious of others who come in looking for a seat) and the baristas have all been very friendly and helpful in my experience. The place is kept clean, which is commendable since it show they take pride in their jobs. One of the bathrooms was out of toilet paper the other day during a rush (if there is a rush..it seems always to be fairly busy here) but no time was lost in changing the roll as soon as I brought it to their attention. Rating disclaimer: I'm not a fan of Starbucks coffee in general so it would be unfair of me to give a rating based on their product when I know it's not my favourite, yet I choose to go to this cafe to write. The baristas can't control the quality of the coffee beans since it's consistent across all Starbucks I've ever been to. They messed up my friends drink. So he asked if they could re-make it (took 10 minutes since it was busy). I ordered a blonde roast with 2 pumps mocha and heavy whipping cream. I wanna say it took 18 minutes to make. The drink wasn't warm. One the baristas gave me a gift card because my drink took a while to make. I checked it on the app & it didn't have any money on it. It was nice that she tried to make it better but 18 minutes for a cup of coffee is too long. The coffee I got wasn't even good. read more

This Starbucks has a drive-thru which becomes beneficial to us guest that actually don't mind walking outside of our cars. The drive-thru line is always outrageous while the inside line is practically nonexistent. The parking lot on the other hand is pretty ridiculous. They share a parking lot with other popular businesses which causes parking to be limited. The location itself is pretty decent sized with a ton of tables, chairs, and couches to accommodate the wi-fi moochers. Staff Starbucks are all the same to me when it comes to products. However, when it comes to the service I was beyond impressed. The baristas were so friendly it made my $3 tea seem like nothing. LOL read more

So I just discovered that starbucks has happy hour...how did i not know this?? I'm not a fan of starbucks in general, but u have to admit...they're pretty freakin convenient when you're on the go. And even though this particular location doesn't have a drive thru, let me tell u why I like it better than any other starbucks. The place isn't JAM PACKED with people on their laptops! You'll see a few here and there, but people actually come here to grab coffee with a friend or 2...not take over the entire place for 9 hours with a laptop and 7 textbooks. This location is always very full when I have visited. The layout requires you to walk between all the seated patrons and towards the restrooms before getting into line. Which is kind of annoying. The staff is always friendly, the coffee just fine. The wait times have seemed longer than a normal Starbucks on some visits, but like most they can all be hit or miss. read more

Nice Starbucks location across the street from the AMC & countless other shops and eateries along San Fernando Road. Staff is nice & polite, but this location is always busy. Wifi is a "hell of a drug" because I sometimes see people having a tall size drink and sitting there on their laptops I'm sure for a hour or two. Anyhow, I always take mine to go since there is bench city seating along San Fernando Road and you can people watch and enjoy a nice drink regardless if it's hot or cold.
