This Starbucks had horrible service. I was the only person in line and the barista proceeded to clean the counter for 5 minutes before taking my order. She saw me, she knew I was there, she just decided to ignore me because why not?! I asked specifically for caramel in my order and realized there wasn't any when I got my drink. When I went up to ask for caramel, she tells me they've ran out. This barista couldn't give two sh*ts about any of her customers. So sad that she was so miserable. read more

I love Starbucks and I'm a loyal customer because not only do I love their drinks but the atmosphere is usually pleasant. This location is a different story. They didn't mess up my drink but who looked like the manager, Tasha I believe her name was, kept yelling at the other employees. It was pretty busy but from her yelling and constant clapping to rush the baristas, it created a very tense and awkward environment. read more

Hey, Amy, you worked the register at about 615 pm tonight (thurs, Nov. 20)...two pieces of unsolicited advice: stop putting your grimy hands on the lips of the coffee cups (and lids), it's absolutley disgusting AND, when it's as busy as it was (I counted 11 people waiting), it would cut down on the mass confusion at the bar if you TOOK NAMES of the people for their drink orders. This is by far the slowest starbucks I've ever been to and every time I come here, my drink order gets messed up. Baristas seem to change frequently and they never look happy. I'm sick of paying $4 for a drink that gets butchered. There is no consistency here. read more

Pretty standard Starbucks with staff that are friendly and efficient. They used to have some tables and chairs for customers to relax in but per corporate recommendation they removed them and put in a standing bar and some stools by the windows. Too bad because this was such a great spot for people to come to get away from the hospital for a little bit, have informal meetings and for students to study. read more

It's not a very fancy Starbucks (nicer ones in the city/Cambridge) but the staff is extremely friendly and even with a long line the wait is usually short. And it's only a minute from where I work, which makes me a frequent visitor read more

This starbucks is located right in the heart of the Longwood Medical Area. Boston Childrens Hospital and Harvard Medical School are nearby. The store is always filled with doctors, nurses, and college students, but the lines are always quick. Go to place for coffee, as I cant even drink Dunkin Donuts anymore. My favorite drink to get is the Ice Carmel Macchiato. Dont forget to get a starbucks card, as you will quickly gain points towards a gold card. read more

Not sure how many stars to really give. The service is slow but if you think about it, it's in a busy location near children's hospital. It is tiny and not built in a way that makes it efficient. If you have the Starbucks app, you can do a mobile order and it will be a bit faster than waiting in the slow line. My drinks have been consistent every time I do go in. This place is absolutely the worst starbucks that I have ever visited. The service has always been unimpressive (slow, lots of mistakes) but tolerable, and I have visited there frequently because of the location. However, most recently the employee working there showed the worst possible attitude. I ordered a cup of coffee by saying "Can I have a cup of coffee" and she said "Repeat. that". Instead of asking my name in a professional manner, she said "Now. spell. your name. one by one" in a derogatory tone. When I spelled it because I was too awestruck to respond, she said "Now. go. over. there. and wait for your coffee". This is just plain ridiculous and I regret that I could not raise the issue at the store because I was honestly very scared to confront her because she sounded like a highschool bully. The only information she had about me was my appearance and we had never encountered before, nor did I behave impolitely to her. She was wearing a turban and lots of jewelry. I filed a complaint to Starbucks but wanted to raise awareness that you cannot expect basic human decency (not to mention any professionalism) at this store. read more

The Starbucks at this location is SUPER slow in customer service. The line Used to be long but fast before they renovated. After the renovation, service has gotten much worse. The line and waiting area is also set up in an odd way. You would need to afford a good 20 minutes of your time before getting your hot or cold drink in the morning. How many times have I craved a good coffee or hot chocolate, went there only to stand in line for 15 minutes before giving up and getting back to my office. The layout of the furniture us great, they make great use of the space to maximize seating which includes bars along the window. So this is a great place to work or study. Better yet, there is free wifi, except it's not from them; it's from the boloco next door. Still free just remember to click on boloco when you are connecting. The service is excellent. The only thing keeping me from five stars is that it is still not extremely spacious- which I guess could depend on the time of day you are there(amount of people crowding the room). Also an outlet is not guaranteed for your laptop. Other wise everything is great and the people there also contribute to the good atmosphere. read more

Starbucks is necessary but this location is the most inefficient one ive ever been to. No rush ever. If you want to stand in line for 30 min, go here. Its a disaster. Always aeem understaffed. This Starbucks sucks. Always super crowded. Don't be deceived by the fact the line to pay looks like it's moving relatively quickly. You will wait forever for them to actually make your drink (I stood waiting for at least 20 minutes once). Had a really bad experience there just now, where I ordered an "iced coffee, sweetened, with soy milk and light ice" (my go-to). The rude and lazy cashier swung around, poured hot drip coffee over a cup full of ice, and directed me to the table by the door where there was allegedly soy milk for me to add myself (there wasn't). Also, it wasn't sweetened and all in tasted lukewarm and nasty. I usually pay a little extra for Starbucks coffee because the atmosphere is nice and the drinks are pretty reliable. I work down the street and frequently visit for their delicious iced coffee. The staff here always gives off a good vibe and sometimes my drink is already waiting for me before I even order it. They give you simple drinks right away at the register, so even if the bar is backed up I never have to wait for iced coffee. I can't say enough good things about this Starbucks. read more

My problem with this Starbucks is that I go there in the morning when I drive home from my boyfriends house to get ready for work. Very very often they do not open on time (in some cases they have had the doors shut at 6:45 am). I often pull up, get out of the car, tug on the door, and nothing... There are always a few other people (lots in scrubs) either waiting for it to open, or standing by waiting for the hopeful customer closest to the door to give a signal - open or not so much... They are usually (but not always) nice in there when they do open on time, but you just can't count on it in the early am. read more

On two occasions I've ordered and paid for things and when I got my order it was wrong. Last week the first time I ordered a frappuccino and got a latte (which is a huge difference actually.) my order sticker said FAPPUCCINO on and it was clearly a hot latte..I didn't have enough time to tell them they made me the wrong drink because it was between classes. Today I ordered a bacon egg and Gouda with my drink. I got my drink and was waiting a good 10 mins giving them time because it was busy... After people who ordered after me got their food I had to ask if mine was being made... The guy who took my order acted as if nothing happened and didn't apologize that he clearly didn't tell the girl cooking the sandwiches, even though I paid $7 and change for a grande shaken drink and egg sandwich. When I got back to school I opened my bag only to find that they gave me a completely different egg sandwich even though I order it twice. I understand it's a busy location but the employees need to pay attention to the orders. read more

I have to say. I've never liked coming here. My first experience here was terrible, but I figured hey its been a few years why not give it a try? Let me tell you as well, I've worked with starbucks for over 4 years. Been a barista, barista trainer, as well as a shift manager. I know what it's like to work at a Starbucks and what my experience should be like. I came in here earlier asking for a very simple basic drink. Everything according to recipe nothing compacted at all. First off. The guy doesn't make my drink properly. So I kindly asked him if my drink was sweetened the way I ordered it. Instead of just making the drink properly. He doesn't add the correct amount the recipe calls for as well as gives me attitude qhen handing me my beverage. Saying in a sassy and rude tons. "It's sweetened now" excuse ms. I've never met you in my life and if you made my beverage correctly the first time. There wouldn't have been any issues. And this is the male with the green beanie on. The service here is just terrible. I have learned from coming here this morning to never walk back into this place again. read more
