Disappointed with Print Services - Not Recommended for Anything Beyond Standard Jobs I went into Staples hoping to print a simple 10-page document on résumé paper and have it cut down to a custom size (5.75" x 8.25"). The associate quoted the job and told me each page would need to be cut individually--at a cost of $6.50 per page, bringing the total to over $70 with tax, just for cutting. That didn't even include punching holes in the pages. How is that even remotely reasonable? Cutting all 10 pages for $6.50, sure--maybe. But $6.50 per page? That's outrageous for such a basic request. Unless you're doing standard prints or copies, I would not recommend this Staples location (or maybe Staples at all) for custom print jobs. They seemed completely unprepared to handle anything even slightly outside the norm read more

What started out to be a very negative review has turned into a very positive one and solely due to your employee, Trevor. I picked up an order on Saturday and when I looked closely at it on Sunday realized it was totally botched. Very frustrated I called and luckily was connected to Trevor. I explained the problem and that I needed to mail the items out on Monday. Not only did he go over and above to fix my order, he had the order reprinted in just a few hours (I asked if I could have by Monday morning). His efforts got me back on track and restored my faith in "customer service". Due to his efforts I will return to your store and now know what to ask for so this doesn't happen again. Hoping this reaches the attention of a manager. I stopped by to quickly do an Amazon return between 3:30 and 4pm on Monday, 11/11/24 and there were no customers in front of me. The guy working in that section saw me waiting patiently and proceeded to assemble 4 boxes while I just patiently stood there waiting for him to assist me. This is unheard of and incredibly rude. Please train your guys how to treat their customers or don't put them out on the store floor. He went above and beyond to accommodate us on a tight schedule and helped with adjusting the product to really fit what we needed and getting it ready for us in a timely manner. Overall, I am pleased with Staples but I needed a TWIC service and the website States that walk-ins were welcomed. So I drove 27 miles only for the store rep to tell me that on Fridays they don't do walk-ins. This was very disappointing especially since I drove so far to be turned away! read more

I am giving 4 stars just because they did help me tremendously!! Would have been 5 stars but it appears they are short staffed, all the time. My main concern was at 1st my laptop, which had ben worked on many times by another service provider. My last ditch effort was to veing it here and wipe it totally.. this they did and had to reinstall windows fto fix the problem. None of the other repair people even hinted that Windows was the basic problem. They fixed it and onward I go. Now, my pc crashed. It is only 2 years old. I took it by and they wiped it, brought it back to manufacture settings. They are quick about repairs. They called to update me each step of the way , just in case a problem arose. I will continue to use them for my computer needs. Ty read more

We are very impressed by the Print and Marketing Supervisor, Jennifer. She was very professional and patient with us, as we had to print an obituary in a small amount of time. Jennifer was happy to show us samples, gave us a realistic turn around time and was patient when we had edits. I used manage a print department with another company, and I understand how demanding this area of the store can be, so I appreciate Jennifer. I wanted to return my Hp Envy printer in order to take advantage of the Staples Assurian warranty plan. I called Staples on McKellips and spoke to Kevin. He said to bring it in and he would box it up for me and UPS it with the return label I provided. When I got to the store Kevin was very busy so I worked with Roger to figure out my needs for a replacement printer. Then Kevin was available to box up my printer and answer even more questions that kept coming to my old mind. Lol Between Roger and Kevin I walked out of there very happy with the customer service!!! read more

Tried to buy a printer here on 12/29/14, clearly on sale in the store flyer, in-stock. I held the unopened box in my hand. The staff were so disorganized and so ill-prepared to do their jobs I left empty handed, they missed the sale all because they don't know how to do their jobs even on a fundamental level. A follow-up phone call demonstrated the store staff simply don't care whatsoever. A follow-up check with Staples customer service online showed the rep never read the email, only responded to a particular keyword. Laziness or lack of skill? Perhaps a lack of abilty to read English. If you shop here be prepared to deal with poorly trained kids as employees. My money ended up with Amazon, free shipping at the same price. This is a good example of why so many brick and mortar stores are closing. I learned my lesson and will never again darken their door. read more

2 words: Staples sucks! I despise this store but use them for copies. On occasion the self-serve machines work, most of the time not. Today I went in before noon to print two files from a USB drive. Of course the self service machines didn't work so I went to the "service" counter asking if they'd just print from their machine behind the counter. The clerk responded she wouldn't be able to get to it until WEDNESDAY. This was Monday before noon and I wanted to print two files approx 9 pages total. Of course I was in a hurry, just hoping to bop in and out. Needless to say, this didn't end well for Staples. I won't be back - the service here is terrible. Luckily I discovered self-serve copiers at the UPS store on N Power Rd which was seamless. Get a grip with your schedule Staples. You're making copies. It's not rocket science. read more

Wow this Staples is extremely unprofessional and unhelpful! I brought in a piece of specialty paper that I was looking to purchase more of, after not being able to find it myself I went up to the front counter and asked for help finding it... the sales associate nonchalantly nudged with his head in a a certain direction and said go check isles 6-9 still after no success I went up again and asked a different associate.... and got the same answer!!! Both associates were completely unconcerned with helping a paying customer find anything!! This is the Staples I use for all my printing needs. I run a Fashion Consulting business and they are always helpful.

They were very helpful yesterday, not just for me but with all the other customers. I came in to get some flyers printed up regarding my lost dog. They gave me previews of the b&w vs the color. They were all very helpful. There was a short wait in the checkout line but it gave me the opportunity to watch them with other customers. The female cashier gave them a very helpful description of how long they would need their Staples card until they would be in the system. She gave them the rundown of where to find specific needed information when registering their new printer and a basic step by step of how to install. Nothing she did was unnecessary or made the wait very much longer. They opened up another register to get other customers through and the managers were not impossible to find as they were out helping customers on the floor as well. I was very impressed with the customer service at this location and if you have any questions regarding copying or cropping, they can definitely do for you anything within their means. read more

Absolutely terrible. The print service was all new and overwhelmed. I have used this staples store since 2006, but today was like out of twilight show's script. They could not find my on-line order for copies and when they did they said they've been very busy and did not get to my e-mail yet. Then she wanted to make out an order for me after I had already waited in line forever. The ordering took forever because she was not familiar with her products. Then she wanted me to pay her upfront for a job that would not even be ready until the following day at closing. At that point I was done. Walking out of the store she asked me to wait for her to talk to her manager. He was belligerent and insisted "no job unless payment was posted upfront." Before the store was friendly and supportive of the customers. Now the customers work for the store so to speak. I bet the current manager has this store breaking in under a year. read more

I took the time out of my day today to write this review today because after driving all the way down to Staples to make some copies at the Self-Serve station, I asked to get the copies (75) folded, and I was told it was a job that would take them 24 hours to accomplish. I have been here two times before at the same time and they immediately folded them which with the machine took them 30 seconds! It's ok staples I know you are well understaffed even for my thirty second job and for that reason you will not see my business ever again. I drove down to OfficeMax who had no problem taking my money for a thirty second job. I will continue to go to them from now on for my weekly business. I hate to be "that guy" that writes a bad review but that is just terrible customer service. Hire more people if you are that backed up! read more
