Exceptional customer service! My desktop computer went down and I was unable to access my files. Rather than getting it repaired I decided to remove the hard drive and download the files to my laptop. I did not have the necessary equipment to do the job so I took my laptop and hard drive to Staples on McKellips to see what I needed to buy to transfer the files. I went to the technical station inside Staples and asked technician Trevor Ray what I needed. He identified a few different products that I could buy online. The easiest product was a simple plug and play device which was around $150. Then he asked me how many times I would be transferring data. I replied just this one time. He then said why don't we just do it now with equipment he had available. I said sure and expected to pay a fee for the service. He hooked up my hard drive connected it to my laptop and began transferring data. The process took around 40 minutes. He transferred the data and created a desktop icon so I could easily access the downloaded data. When we were done I asked how much. He waved me off and said no charge. I was shocked and extremely surprised at the superior customer service. I couldn't thank him enough. With every company raising prices and charging for every little thing it was a great experience for me. Highly recommend this Staples location and Trevor in particular. read more

This Staples, most specifically Jennifer in the printing department is the most amazing knowledgeable person I've ever dealt with at any staples or Alpha graphics or any other print company. Not only is she helpful. She's super easy to talk to and so friendly. I will be back to have everything from this class printed here. I will never use Alpha graphics again. The color is off. read more

This was our third stop searching for office chairs as a couple furniture stores didn't have any and Best Buy was pretty expensive. This biz had the most to choose from and really great prices. The two employees there were of great help in our purchase. We will be back to buy some office supplies and a printer in the near future. read more

Please have someone senior, a VP or above, someone with authority, common sense and customer centricity. My wife and have had 4 very poor experiences, the last over the last 48 hrs. Escalating to the store manager has been disappointing, to say the least. I wish to share our experiences and the replies. My cell is 480-640-0216. read more

So I went to turn in some packages and we walk up to it not a word out of our mouths and the Lady says give us one minute we're busy we didn't even say anything in like the rudest tone ever and she takes 20 minutes to teach this new dude how to do something and just makes us wait and once we're done waiting extra long she gave us some attitude saying sorry for the wait as if we were on her time do not go here horrible customer service read more

My experience with the Staples store and staff but the fact that I have to pretend to be on my phone so I don't get accosted by the people sitting at a table outside wanting money and monthly donations. Staples Management please make this stop!!! read more

Disappointed with Print Services - Not Recommended for Anything Beyond Standard Jobs I went into Staples hoping to print a simple 10-page document on résumé paper and have it cut down to a custom size (5.75" x 8.25"). The associate quoted the job and told me each page would need to be cut individually--at a cost of $6.50 per page, bringing the total to over $70 with tax, just for cutting. That didn't even include punching holes in the pages. How is that even remotely reasonable? Cutting all 10 pages for $6.50, sure--maybe. But $6.50 per page? That's outrageous for such a basic request. Unless you're doing standard prints or copies, I would not recommend this Staples location (or maybe Staples at all) for custom print jobs. They seemed completely unprepared to handle anything even slightly outside the norm read more

The gals that work in the printing area are so awesome! They're there to help, assist anything you need help or guidance with. I needed some special printing and I was so glad I stopped in while looking for a new printer. Alyssa you are such a sweetheart! Thank you for being so kind and gracious!! If you're in the area and need specialized printing or any kind of printing I would highly recommend asking for Alyssa. She made everything perfect! Thank you! read more

I was greeted as I came in and the employee directed me to where I could do an Amazon return. I returned the item easily and was out in 5-10 minutes. I appreciate the kind employees and clean store. I'll keep using them. read more

What started out to be a very negative review has turned into a very positive one and solely due to your employee, Trevor. I picked up an order on Saturday and when I looked closely at it on Sunday realized it was totally botched. Very frustrated I called and luckily was connected to Trevor. I explained the problem and that I needed to mail the items out on Monday. Not only did he go over and above to fix my order, he had the order reprinted in just a few hours (I asked if I could have by Monday morning). His efforts got me back on track and restored my faith in "customer service". Due to his efforts I will return to your store and now know what to ask for so this doesn't happen again. Thank you, Trevor! read more

Staples printing service website application SUCKS Three times I have tried to create magnetic signs for my business and everytime the application failed - Staples NEEDS to shut down and move on like all the other has-been businesses read more

Rude female employee. I needed assistance with the printer and the female employee was very rude and resentful that I needed help. Avoid this store. read more

Rudest employees! Two extremely unpleasant workers. I was there to return a Gap item.

Hoping this reaches the attention of a manager. I stopped by to quickly do an Amazon return between 3:30 and 4pm on Monday, 11/11/24 and there were no customers in front of me. The guy working in that section saw me waiting patiently and proceeded to assemble 4 boxes while I just patiently stood there waiting for him to assist me. This is unheard of and incredibly rude. Please train your guys how to treat their customers or don't put them out on the store floor. I'm really tired of people getting away with poor behavior because they think no one will make a funk or report them. read more

I stopped in needing some printing services and the female clerk was absolutely amazing. I can't understand these negative reviews.

This review is for the print area in the store. The young man behind the counter, Kevin maybe?, was very helpful. He went above and beyond to accommodate us on a tight schedule and helped with adjusting the product to really fit what we needed and getting it ready for us in a timely manner. The text system didn't work to alert us that our order was done but it was completed in the time frame he provided. read more

Overall, I am pleased with Staples but I needed a TWIC service and the website States that walk-ins were welcomed. So I drove 27 miles only for the store rep to tell me that on Fridays they don't do walk-ins. This was very disappointing especially since I drove so far to be turned away! read more

Trevor was extremely helpful; went over and above. I appreciated his outstanding customer service!

1st of all the lady in print and marketing is very overwhelmed. IDK why they only have one person working in this department. Probably to save money. So l stole a few $60 pens to make up for all the money corporate thinks they're saving and my inconvenience. As a consumer I'm done with these companies making billions at the expense of quality service and it's going to start effecting their bottom line. read more

I needed 700 documents printed within a couple of hours. Jennifer and her crew came through. Thank you so much!

Bought a Vartan gaming chair that lasted exactly TWO WEEKS before the armrest broke. Called Staples for options and the first thing they asked was if I purchased the protection plan, which I did not. Too bad, so sad, Staples will do absolutely NOTHING. I shouldn't have to pay extra money to "protect" an obviously defective product. Is that your M.O., Staples? Rip people off on products that have Zero stock warranty? What a disgusting display of greed. read more

The manager and the cashier did a great job today and helped me find what I needed. I was also able to do some price matching which I really appreciate. I'm definitely coming back here again. read more

Staples - SE of McKellips and Greenfield - Printing Services Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Standing waiting to return my order by the Amazon station & waiting for about 5 minutes while you can see employees by the cash register all just talking, sounded like they might be discussing an issue with another employee but maybe a different time would be better? I then proceed to walk over there asking if I can get help & some lady with dark longer hair her name tag said "AlThea" if that's her name not sure & she proceeds to say " ya we will be over with you in a second we're tied up in something right now" (her & the 3 employees on the floor? Then who helps me??) which not only came off so rude but they were literally just talking... also as I've been waiting so was somebody else by the printer station. Idk time & place for everything and to have 5 employees sitting at the counter discussing another's employees actions just doesn't seem like the right time especially when you have customers waiting for you. Get a staff with better attitude. read more

I am giving 4 stars just because they did help me tremendously!! Would have been 5 stars but it appears they are short staffed, all the time. My main concern was at 1st my laptop, which had ben worked on many times by another service provider. My last ditch effort was to veing it here and wipe it totally.. this they did and had to reinstall windows fto fix the problem. None of the other repair people even hinted that Windows was the basic problem. They fixed it and onward I go. Now, my pc crashed. It is only 2 years old. I took it by and they wiped it, brought it back to manufacture settings. They are quick about repairs. They called to update me each step of the way , just in case a problem arose. I will continue to use them for my computer needs. Ty read more

We are very impressed by the Print and Marketing Supervisor, Jennifer. She was very professional and patient with us, as we had to print an obituary in a small amount of time. Jennifer was happy to show us samples, gave us a realistic turn around time and was patient when we had edits. I used manage a print department with another company, and I understand how demanding this area of the store can be, so I appreciate Jennifer. We will be using this location again if we need more prints. read more

The "I don't care store" should actually be the name. .50 cents a page to scan? 13 cents a page to copy? Shouldn't a copy cost more? Well not according to these peeps. Go to Office Depot if you need to scan 1/2 the price. I give this place a year and they will be out of business. Everything is way over priced! Oh and you have to do it yourself. Manager response? Hmmm. That's it. Hmmm. read more

Tried to buy a printer here on 12/29/14, clearly on sale in the store flyer, in-stock. I held the unopened box in my hand. The staff were so disorganized and so ill-prepared to do their jobs I left empty handed, they missed the sale all because they don't know how to do their jobs even on a fundamental level. A follow-up phone call demonstrated the store staff simply don't care whatsoever. A follow-up check with Staples customer service online showed the rep never read the email, only responded to a particular keyword. Laziness or lack of skill? Perhaps a lack of abilty to read English. If you shop here be prepared to deal with poorly trained kids as employees. My money ended up with Amazon, free shipping at the same price. This is a good example of why so many brick and mortar stores are closing. I learned my lesson and will never again darken their door. read more

Just bought a NEW modem. Called Cox to set it up and quickly found out that the NEW modem I just bought was active on another account......... The girls at the copy center were incredibly rude, and that's not the first time it has happened. They act as if they hate their jobs and they take it out on customers. Great job, Staples customer service training. Hope you keep losing money over it like you just did. read more

2 words: Staples sucks! I despise this store but use them for copies. On occasion the self-serve machines work, most of the time not. Today I went in before noon to print two files from a USB drive. Of course the self service machines didn't work so I went to the "service" counter asking if they'd just print from their machine behind the counter. The clerk responded she wouldn't be able to get to it until WEDNESDAY. This was Monday before noon and I wanted to print two files approx 9 pages total. Of course I was in a hurry, just hoping to bop in and out. Needless to say, this didn't end well for Staples. I won't be back - the service here is terrible. Luckily I discovered self-serve copiers at the UPS store on N Power Rd which was seamless. Get a grip with your schedule Staples. You're making copies. It's not rocket science. read more

One bad customer service experience, chalk it up to a bad day. Two in a row, from separate employees and that's just poor business. The two girls in printing couldn't have been less friendly. I get that your busy, but I'm just a girl trying to pick up my overpriced order. read more

Wow this Staples is extremely unprofessional and unhelpful! I brought in a piece of specialty paper that I was looking to purchase more of, after not being able to find it myself I went up to the front counter and asked for help finding it... the sales associate nonchalantly nudged with his head in a a certain direction and said go check isles 6-9 still after no success I went up again and asked a different associate.... and got the same answer!!! Both associates were completely unconcerned with helping a paying customer find anything!! After explaining to the associate that I had already checked there he said well then I guess we don't have it.... thanks staples for nothing.... read more
