I got here really early to print off funeral programs, since everything was closed the night before and somehow there are no 24 hour copy places in southeast Phoenix. The employee was really great to help me out and even help fold the documents so they looked really nice. The FedEx Shipping Center in Mesa on Val Vista and Baseline is the worst. There were 3 men behind the counter and I was struggling to bring in 10 large boxes weighing from 11-93 pounds. The doors open out so I was trying to pull them both open to get in the store while trying to pull a heavy cart. 2 of the men were just standing behind the counter- no one even came over to hold or prop the door open. Finally, one mentioned that the doors have a kick-stand to prop open but would have been nice if someone helped me with the door- even if they couldn't lift the boxes. While I was there an older woman picked up a package- they put it on the counter and told her it was heavy. She was worried she wasn't going to be able to lift it. None of the 3 offered help carry, offer the cart or any other suggestion. I finally offered that I can help her. She said she would try it herself first and was able to carry it out. I had two returns one for fedex and the other was suppose to go to USPS. I accidentally gave them the wrong one so I emailed them later In the day once I realized, Jay responded quickly to my email and was helpful, told me to come back in with the right item and they would switch it out. So I come back in and explained what happened to the employees and a lady with short brown hair immediately had a bad attitude. She was acting like I was trying to steal the package(the one that I brought in this morning) and was wanting me to explain to them what it was in detail even through I had already told them that the package they were holding was mine. My package was very easy to spot out because it was in a resealed Amazon bag with sharpie crossing out the old postage sticker which I told them but yet she still needed more proof that it was mine... That lady has terrible customer service and needs an attitude check. read more

I spent the weekend working on a presentation for work, due Monday. I visit the nearby Fedex around 5:30pm to print my masterpiece. There is one worker there and she is helping a couple of girls with wedding announcements. I wait. 10 minutes pass by. She is sort of casually helping the girls...I haven't even been acknowledged yet. 10 more minutes pass by and I grow impatient. Finally I am acknowledged after 20 minutes. (Yes I was keeping time) She gave me an exasperated "What do you need". I want something printed and bound, a five minute job. She asked, "when do you want it". I look around, surveying an empty location and said "now". "We close in 20 minutes and I'm the only one here" was the response. I am baffled, this is a 5 minute job. I tell her I need this for a meeting on Monday morning and she keeps up with her "we're closing" routine. So, thanks for the creative solution my Fedex Friend. I arrive 30 minutes before closing time and get no help. Nothing. One of the worst customer service experiences of my professional life. read more

I went here to have some things printed. When I was parking, there was an SUV behind me that knew I was backing off to park but she took the spot anyway. When I got into the store this lady was there so I told her that for an old lady she has no manners because she took the parking spot I was going to park in. The cashier said: "excuse me did you just call her an old lady? That was uncalled for.. I don't want people treating my customers like that... blah, blah, blah." I came in to do an amazon return to the store (5/25/22 at around 1pm). I first explained to the young lady that was helping me that I was doing an amazon return and she responded with the worse attitude I have been treated with, she said "You still have not even told me what you are here for". I contemplated walking out and not coming back but I was busy. I have no idea if she was having a bad day or what but I never gave her a reason to give me attitude. I have worked in numerous customer service jobs and restaurants so I am always nice and straight to the point with every worker I interact with. I will never go back to this place and they should do better training at how to treat their customers. Without customers no one there would have a job so I hope this review works as a wake up call. They ended up pointing me in the wrong direction and I later found out that I had to go to Fed-ex which was an amazing experience compared to the rudeness I experienced in this establishment. Had such a great experiences here the other day. I came in to print a cute picture off of my phone for my bridal shower. A younger guy helped me start to finish. My phone wasn't cooperating so he offered to send it via his phone. Made it super easy and convient for me! I was not impressed I have printed many times through fedex and have never had a problem it's usually fast and inexpensive. But 25 dollars for 12 pieces of paper is outrageous if you aren't going to disclose the price. the person working charged me for the most expensive paper when I asked for generic card stock. I even mentioned multiple times that the place on the west side just printed on normal card stock. Then I was charged $5 for her to click the mouse 2 times and print two cards per page. I will not be back to this location. read more

Called ahead to check price on international shipping. After quote I headed in and dealt with Andrew. He was unable to process the shipment stating it was not allowed to be sent to the country. I was shipping paper. He said there was a glitch in the system but refused to get on the phone with anyone or call his manager. He told me to go to UPS. I called in to find out about a DVD that I needed copied. I spoke with Angela. She was incredibly responsive and right with me even responding with key ideas to better my project. She was the epitome of customer service. Amazing! Then I needed DVD sleeves printed. She gave a quote. I asked how long if I sent the file in. She said 1 hour. When I arrived again, she took control and, yes, they were done, cut and PERFECT. I am pretty sure that Angela is the manager there, and if that is because of how good she is, it makes sense.
