The best UPS Store there is! Staff is SUPER friendly, fast, and efficient. They put customers first and they're super patient if you have questions and are more than happy to go over all shipping options with you. I haven't tried their other services like printing and whatnot but they are set up for it all. It's a one stop shop for everything. The best part about this location is the automatic door. Prior to moving to Gilbert I used the UPS Store on Alma School & Germann in Chandler and they have a normal door you have to open, which can be a huge pain when you're carrying a package and whatnot. I was finalizing a new mortgage loan and had to pay for an appraisal so went to the UPS store to drop the payment into the business mailbox. I gave it to the store staff to place in the box number I had on the envelope. Th staff person told me I wrote the wrong box number on the envelope. I said that was the box number I was told to use. The worker told me this happens all the time and that it was the wrong box. So I said okay put it in the correct box. I then called the appraisal company and they went to get their payment but the envelope was not in their box. We had to go round with the other staff to check each companies mailbox to find the envelope I had correctly written and found it in the wrong company mailbox. I can only imagine how many times this employee negatively impacted the appraisal company's bottom line and caused conflict with their customers. read more

Being in customer service my expectations tend to be higher than most. This place has always been wonderful. I've always gotten friendly and efficient service from this location. However, my most recent service went above and beyond there normal service. I had made and framed something I needed shipped to a niece. When she got it her husband took a video of her opening it. It was packed so well you probably could have dropped it off a 10 story building and it would not have been damaged. I will continue to use this location for all my shipping needs. read more

I went in for a pretty complex printing & cutting job in color and on cardstock paper; Abbi saw what needed to get done and shooed her inept colleagues out of the way and got shit done RIGHT. After basic information exchange via email I received a draft document that met our specifications for size and color (they have a designer available for very small fee to pretty it up and make it look professional). I had the pleasure of being waited on by Michael, the store owner. I had a 50 pound trailer hitch I had to have boxed and shipped but the hitch was angled and I could not straighten it, Michael took it out to his truck, put it in the trailer and straightened it so it could ship in a smaller box. So this is first time I used this ups location but it will not be the last!!!! I came in to drop off a package,and the female that was working last night (feb 7) was outstanding. Got a greeting as soon as I walked in......there was someone at the counter filling something out and she had me step up to a different counter, and she was super friendly and very efficient. I have been at other ups locations where it seems like employees don't want to be here..... but this girl definitely seemed like she loved her job and was there to help you (the customer). I have had several incidents with this store in Gilbert. The co-owner Vicki Miller is not professional, and very rude. She has raised her voice at me as to correct me and interuppted employees while helping me. I first the week of DEC 10,2021. The staff are pleasant to work with. However, Vicki is not she does not greet you or show any salutations. I was informed by Vicki in a rude manner not to use that email she told Scot who I help wtih his legal paperwork I did not know this. The owner Vicki of this store should take accountablity for her behaviors and unwillingness to ensure customers are aware not to use this email by posting this taking it down from the website or posting in the store. I go in today and regret this as she again was rude to me while she chose to overstep me and her employee helping me about a Christmas card mailed back. I tried to mail this card for a friend who at the time is hospitalized to ensure it gets to the daughter. There was money in it for the daughter I did not want to open it. I wanted to put this into another larger envelope and resend it from UPS. As it had the wrong zip code is why this was sent back to us!!!! I did not know whether the card had cash or not. I6 let the staff know this and ask they put in another envelope to mail back. Vicki instantly very abruftly came over to me wtih quite the demeanor abnoxiously rude statement to me, " I need to put another stamp on it. I said yes I know this as this is why I am here to have it sent back in the mail." This is all in her assumption.... Then in raising her voice at me she said I cannot mail this if this has cash that is illegal & she will use my license. She seemed smirk with me did not offer another solution yet there was one. I told her she was again rude I regret coming back to this store due to her that her workers are not the issue she as an owner is the problem. I went to the car to open the envelope to find it was a check written. I went back and told her it was not cash!!! I called corporate, then called MIke the Owner of store possibly her husband following my call with Corporate office and finding out it's not illegal to mail cash to your relatives. I feel there needs to be training as this could of been resolved quite easy based on a solution not a reaction with what policy's they have. I went to the post office and they resolved what really was not an issue for me in seconds with more of pleasant professional attitude. Will not ever step foot in this store again!!!! I see there are others' here who have had similiar issues to what I had experienced. I have utilized a UPS store for years mostly the Power RD store in the past and they're always have been great to work with. With my move near down town Gilbert this year and using store#6945 in Gilbert this has swayed me I now use staples for business. read more

I was in town visiting relatives and find it easier to ship my clothes ahead of time instead of paying the luggage charge on the discount airline that I fly. When it was time to ship my clothes back home the staff here was very pleasant and helpful. They even re-packed by stuff and did it better than I did! And the cost... about 1/3 of the price the airline charges! Always friendly people, fast service, clean store. read more

After calling 7 Bank of America branches, where I would have been able to get a Notary for free, and having them either not answer their phone or tell me their Notary wasn't in, I called here to ask if you had a Notary. Megan answered the phone, at about 4pm, with such a smile in her voice. She immediately changed my mood. She asked how she could help, and sounded like she honestly meant it. I asked if you had a Notary, and she said that you have one during all hours that you're open. We went right over, and Megan was so helpful and polite. I really enjoyed our interaction with her. She accurately Notarized my documents and helped us sell a property. Wonderful employee-you're lucky to have her. read more

My husband is an artist who painted a beautiful tribute to a friend who recently died. It was a gift for his family. We went to the UPS store on Power Rd to have them ship it at the end of Jan 2022. It was a very large painting with frame and glass so they said they needed to get a box for it and it could be delayed until they got the box. We paid over $500 to have them pack and deliver this one of a kind artwork. A few weeks later, Feb 14, 2022 we got a call from the person we shipped the painting to. They said as they pulled the painting out of the box they heard glass. As they continued to unpack the painting they discovered that the glass had totally shattered, the frame was broken and the painting itself was torn. My husband was devastated that his work of art was totally destroyed. We contacted the UPS store many times to speak to the owner, Steve, left our number and even went to the store to see if we could speak directly to him. Never once has he called us back or made any attempt to correct the damage his company caused. His employees will not give out his contact information so we continue to ask them to pass on the message to contact us. Do NOT use this business! I've had things break from other shipping companies but they have always worked with us to get the situation resolved, and never have I had my shipment destroyed. Steve should not have a business since he obviously does not know the first thing about customer service or taking responsibility for your actions. My advice is go anywhere else but to the UPS store on Power. (The only reason it got 1 star was because his staff were pleasant to deal with.) read more

The employees at this store are very rude and arrogant. I was shipping a package to Phoenix in brown paper. I have done this hundreds of times over the years without a single problem - NONE! But when I dropped off my package I was told that I cant do that, the paper can jam their sorting machines or something. I explained there was nothing wrong with the package. Thats when his manager starts lecturing me about how my package could get shredded because I used brown paper. This is not true. In all my years I have never, ever, ever had a single problem mailing a package with UPS or USPS - not one! What confused me was they accepted the package. If the package had a problem they should have refused to take it. By accepting the package that tells me nothing was wrong with the package. I show it was delivered fine without any issues. If there's nothing wrong with my package why are 2 employees at this place lecturing me about how the package had problems? I will never, ever, under any circumstances use this place ever again. They are very arrogant and will never admit they were wrong. UPS 100% supports packages wrapped in brown paper, and like I said this was going to phoenix. It was sorted once then delivered. The idea my package could be shredded is the stupidest thing I have ever heard! I will personally complain to UPS about this. read more
