Is this a business or a hangout spot? Just stop by because I missed my UPS package. Employees on their phones, confusing lines and no one is being helpful with misleading directions. How can in a store with at least 4 employees two are on the phone, one has left four people in line for over 20 minutes without any indication of where or for how long, and the remaining ones have zero sense of urgency. Picking up a missed UPS package at an "authorized UPS pickup spot" took over 30 minutes. This was not a trip to a business establishment, it felt more like a humiliation ritual. read more

I am updating my review based on today's interaction with GiGi in the Print Services area. GiGi is simply amazing! Unfortunately I am needing to print Funeral Programs and haven't used their services before. Gigi was kind, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. She explained their processes, gave me recommendations for the appropriate paper to use, provided quotes and options, and made a sample for me so I could fully see how my printed product would look. The program is a tri-fold program and I presumed that I'd be sitting at my kitchen table folding paper for a good few hours, but nope... they've got that covered too! I appreciate the service and the options, but all five of these stars belong to GiGi! I hope her management understands the gem that they have in her! She is wonderful! read more

2 words to describe the shipping center employees. Lazy and incompetent. Two male employees were so enthralled in their conversation, that when I tried to drop off my UPS packages (which I do at various locations weekly) I was met with the comment "oh no those aren't Amazon returns are they?" Already fearing they would have to actually work. I let them know it was UPS drop offs and they half heartedly tell me they don't accept UPS drop offs and I would need to take it to an actual UPS store. Long story short, save your time and avoid this location. read more

I go here mainly for their printing and copying services. Their fax prices are outrageous at over $2 per page. Staff can be helpful at times depending on who is working there. They usually have a good supply of cleaning products like Lysol wipes. And they have a new layout it seemed the last time I was there. More office furniture being shown when customers walk in. read more

We like getting school & art stuff here, prices can be good. staff is usually nice & let's us shop, but the manager Chris makes us uncomfortable whenever my little sister & I come in he excessively stares at us & is inappropriate....we all like getting supplies here but we will be going to another store. *UPDATE!* I got the notification someone marked my review as "funny"? The supplies of this place is amazing. However, the staffs there are kinda two-faced, when I came in, they was greeting me very well. When I checked out, the staff was coughing and didn't use hand sanitizer before touching my stuffs. When we finished, he asked do I need a bag, I said no thank you, then he DROPPED my stuffs over the counter with an old-white-man attitude. When I decided to end my husband's habit of cutting up every past personal piece of paper in his life 100 times with a pair of scissors, I headed to Staples to get a shredder. This store is large and well organized, with plenty of signage to help you find what you're looking for. Well, I found the shredder on sale with a mail in rebate (I hate those...). In addition, I found a fire proof safe that we've been meaning to get and was on my way..... Next stop, Target. I happened to check the price of the safes there, and found the same brand of safe at the same size for $15 less! 15 dollars!! That's kind of a big difference between stores. Now I have to go back to Staples and return the safe....bummer. read more

We went in with the intent to buy 1 office chair for my work area (my old chair was hanging on a limb..literally) we found the perfect chair and decided to get a 2nd chair for my son. If it wasn't for Liz's great persona we probably would've just bought one. She went above and beyond, I can't praise enough how amazing she was! She even helped carry (yes carry) the chair out. IF YOU ARE GOING HERE FOR PICTURES... DON'T! The service was poor, competency was questionable, and the care for the customer was non existent! I ordered (3) engineer prints on colored paper from this staples and I had to email them the file. So I email Them before leaving my house (San Tan) and then I had to drive here so it was 40 mins. So I get here and I go inside and "John B" at the print counter was helping me and I said "I emailed in some files." And he said no you didn't in a rude tone and didn't even check the computer to see if I did. And I said uh yeah here is the email and showed him and he told me I had the email wrong so I had to re-email it to him. After doing all that again, I then asked if I could browse the store while he printed or if he needed me and he said no go ahead. So I go browse for 30 mins just waiting and come back and he hasn't even started. He told me he had the files, here is the pricing, and showed me a paper w/ 14.99 for tomorrow pickup and $19.99 for today pickup. And asked which do i want? And I said uh today cause I just drove 40 mins and waited 30 mins to pick these up. So he said ok I'll get started. So I wait and got thinkin that online said they were $2.99 each and that didn't add up to $20 so he finishes and hands me a recipt and the total is $58.99 and I'm like uh. So I go to checkout and I asked why is it so much cheaper online? And he said oh cause we always want Ppl to order online and I'm like well that's a hug difference in price, and I showed him the price and he said "oh that's BW you needed color" and I said no this is quoted for color and showed him and he's like oh I printed you posters cause paper prints can't do images. And I said well you should have told me that before you printed cause I wouldn't have gotten these (there printed on paper for $20 a piece, I could have ordered a decent photo for that!) and he's said That he sid and I'm like no you didn't mention one thing about it being a poster and you needed to tell me each was $19.99 and he said I did I wrote it, and it legit looked like a @ sign next to the price and never once told me verbally each! After telling him that I'd just pay for these but I was super upset he never Once said oh let me Give you a discount he was a complete smart ass towards me and I said I'm going to call your manager what's your name? And he said Oh here I'll just call her for You in a Complete smart ass tone. And I'm like uh no I'm calling The actual company. I advise never to go to this staples and all honestly just avoid staples in general cause it's a rip off and their workers have NO sense in respect or trying to resolve the problem they caused. I would also highly recommend Jerry if you need advice on a new computer/ printer. He does not upsell but rather gets you what you need for your level of use. The assistant manager (Maria) is Amazing! She is going places and if she doesn't get another promotion with a pay raise soon, i think she should walk. Ok, maybe I'm being to dramatic, but she definitely made our day. We were leaving after being completely dissatisfied over a poor print job, after being told it couldn't be corrected. Then Maria comes riding in on a beautiful Clydesdale striking and slaying all that got in her way, again i may be exaggerating, but it was magical. Long story short; she fixed our print and restored our faith in the staples establishment. Go forth and spread the word, this is the only staples worth visiting as long as it's Maria who is in charge of your satisfaction. How do these people even work here??!? Save yourself aggravation and go elsewhere for photos & copies!! But then again, they don't stick much stuff so they probably don't have it. Oh, and office max has it for less. I usually shop at office max but was looking for a different calendar this time. Horrible experience here as a business owner. I bought a small printer for my home office, the Epson XP- 6000. From the moment I got it home, I had nothing but problems. It would not grab the paper, it was confused as to what tray to pull the paper from, and the list goes on. Within two weeks of purchasing this product, I brought it back into the Staples store on Arizona Avenue to try to exchange it for a working model (with my receipt), and was told by management that I would need to work with the manufacturer. What he does not understand is that this leaves me without a printer when I need to conduct business. This is the worst case of customer service. Staples, being the company that they are, should stand behind the product that they sell. I was well within what I would consider to be a timeframe for a return. The manager of the store was completely unwilling to work with me and what he does not understand is that my husband owns 17 companies and has often purchased from Staples and has since considered pulling his account as a result, and I am considering walking away from this company as well. Try again Staples. Your customer service is so far below par. And get s new manager. Your business is suffering. read more

Wow, it seems like the neg reviews are specific to the copy/print center. I, on the other hand, have had no issues yet but rather positive experiences every time I need to pick up work items. I absolutely agree with a previous review who gave a shout out to Jerry, one of the managers. He has more knowledge in his pinky fingers than most OM staff. I'm always greeted upon entering and Jerry knows his stuff. He's personable, friendly, and a great asset to the store. He appreciates loyal and repeat customers and because of that, I'm a Staples customer for life! Thanks Jerry and the fine staff at the Fulton Ranch store!!! read more
