I dropped off a package on Sunday but I screwed up and put the label on the wrong box. Stopped in Monday at 8am to see if I could get the box back. Kathryn was the only person working so she said she'd try to find it in between customers, or at 10am when more people come in. Got a call less than a half hour later that she found it. What a tremendous work ethic for a younger person! Kathryn saved the day and I hope her manager sees this and acknowledges her. I've never been so annoyed at a UPS!! I walked up to the door at 5:59 ( I understand you close at 6) and the girl sprints to the door and locks it right it front of me!! I looked at her like really?? Just had my best UPS experience ever. UPS is typically quick and easy- but wow, today was exceptional and for no other reason than the kindness I experienced from Daniel and the long haired brunette woman with super cute glasses. I hade everything I needed to make a return shipment, but the existing bag of the unopened item required a different shipping exterior. Ready to purchase shipping bag, they did not have one in the size I needed so they simply went to the back and got me a box that was placed for recycling. It quite literally took less than 20 seconds to find and place my item in and it made my whole day. It was so easy for them to be nice to me. I was still ready to pay for the box, but they instituted it was fine and sent me on my way. Encounters like this these days are so necessary of a praise report. I've called 10 times and no one has picked up...tired again the next day by the third call I gave up

I regularly go to this location for Amazon returns, as it is super efficient and convenient. The staff make returns super easy, they simply scan a QR code or a pre-boxed/labelled package, print a receipt if requested, and I can expect to be in and out in no time. However, one of the employees up front today made everyone with Amazon returns use the self-serve kiosk. The kiosk line was very long and slow to move, as most customers did not know how to use it and were struggling to figure it out. She stated the kiosk was given specifically for Amazon returns and therefore any Amazon returns were not to stand in line to be scanned/packaged by staff. Amazon's return policy states the QR code can be scanned and packaged by any staff, no where does it indicate it is not required to use the self-serve kiosk. Self-serve is optional for those who prefer to do it themselves and if that option is time saving for them. What is the point of a UPS store, if you have to do everything yourself? I prefer and trust the staff to scan my items and provide a receipt, I stood in line and after watching the first few people ahead of me struggle and take twice as long, I left and printed the labels myself at home. During the time she continued barking orders to stand in the kiosk line, she could have helped some of them and cut the line in half. I wish I would have caught her name, she was also Spanish speaking, bc it is specifically only this employee who operates this way and provided a terrible experience. read more

I'm not going to lie - going into such a store these days feels so archaic. I suppose I'm spoiled with the 2 day amazon shipping, no box returns at local stores, paid shipping labels, etc. In my latest case I had to drop off an Amazon item. You know - one of those just walk up with your item and a QR code and they box and ship it for you type deals. Easy. But that is the catch. The process is easy. But you have to wait in line and, in general, the people there shipping/receiving packages are not tech savvy. True story. The person in front of me was giving their address and after they gave a certain amount of their address the computer automatically knew the city and zip-code. And they were amazed that the clerk knew it. So in any case... the line moves slow. I cannot fault the store for the slow talking and slow moving customers but it might be nice to have a specific drop off location/box? Or maybe a kiosk where we can scan our item and dump it in and we are off on our way (think of the self-serve USPS kiosks)? Dunno. Aside from that I came here like a year ago to get my fingerprints. Same son story. The clerks were so busy with doing things like helping people use the copy machine and picking out boxes that I just left the store. Not once, but twice. The second time they just didnt even have anyone staffed that knew how to do it. Time is money. read more

If I could leave zero rating I would. What an unpleasant experience walked in to ask about a package that I ordered from Verizon that was supposed to be delivered today. Unfortunately Verizon didn't put my apartment number on the order therefore ups wasn't able to deliver it. The minute I realized that the order was pending because they did not have the apartment number I contacted ups and the lady who I spoke with told me that they had the package but that I needed Verizon to authorize me to pick it up. I was on the phone with Verizon on and off for 4 hours and after I last spoke with them went into this ups where the package supposedly was at. I walk in not only did I not get greeted but when I walked up to the counter the woman with short white hair said what? In an angry tone and so I asked her about my package the entire time I was polite she was very rife and unhelpful. She told me the package wasn't there and that she couldn't help me. I even said oh okay thank you. But she still gave me attitude before I left. Horrible customer service. read more

Can't I pleaaase give this place a ZERO! Okay, here's the deal. Just finished experiencing some real top notch CRAP service AGAIN. I was here two days ago, different guy, same CRAP and RUDE service, so it's just not an individual thing. It's apparently something managment promotes at this location. Stay CLEAR! I'm so ticked off by what just happened to me, and what I observed with another customer ahead of me, that I'm sitting outside the store now, in my truck, writing this review.... Like I have nothing better to do. Walk in store, delivery pickup slip in hand, and get in line, social distancing observed (6 feet apart), and observe a young lady, with a large box on the floor by her feet, and the UPS employee, a mumbling retard behind the mask, is very difficult to hear. She asks him at least twice to maybe speak louder. He doesn't. Eventually, thru this back and forth "communication" exchange, it's time for her package to be weighed. Does he offer to lift her box onto the scale? Silly question, of course not. I would have helped her myself, but this current 6 foot rule, potential violation, I thought I best not. Anyhow she's done. My turn.... Mr Mumbles says something, who knows what. I don't ask him to repeat. I just hand him my slip. He doesn't take it. So I just toss it to him and his keyboard. Mr Mumbles then asks for some type of ID, I think, so I pull out my license, and of course he can't touch that with his blue gloved hand, so I toss that to his keyboard as well. A couple of keyboard inputs, and Whalla, Mr Mumbles gets my small box. He then pointed to and asked me to sign the digital signature thingy, I do aaaaaannnd...... Well, my box is on the counter. Gotta learn to get it, aaaaanndd, Mr Mumbles just turns away, this time not even mumbling anything. Am I done? Can I have my box? Is anything else needed? Who knows? Soooo, I lean over, get my box and ask: "Is that it?" Mr Mumbles mumbles something, who knows what, and I walk out with my box. I figured if I was doing something wrong, I'm sure he'd yell at me. I seriously felt like I was stealing my own package. What a horrible experience! Next time, I'll go Team Purple, or even, God forbid, the USPS. Major reform needed at this location.... Beware of package theft. Completely incompetent staff. I ordered a product from Apple and it was delivered to the UPS store after I wasn't available to sign for it. I walked into the UPS store, provided them with the tracking number, my name, address, and confirmation via phone that showed it was delivered to their location just 20 minutes prior to my arrival. They asked what to look for and I told them it was probably small since I didn't order anything large from Apple. They looked through all 5 of their packages that were delivered 20 minutes ago from their driver. After what felt like 5 minutes of searching throughout these same 5 packages, several other places behind the counter, and even in the back, they said they didn't have my package. They wrote down my info on a piece of paper and said they'd call me back. I arrived at my house and was going to call Apple and report the product stolen, as the tracking info said the item was delivered and the store didn't provide it to me, but I wanted to call back and make sure I had the info of the person I spoke to, who I found was the store manager. After calling back to let them know I was going to report it as stolen I was miraculously told they had found the package! When I inquired how come they didn't find it when I was just there 10 minutes ago they blamed it on me for saying it was a small "box", and the package actually came via large envelope. That's right, they couldn't find my package because of how I described what it might have come in. How is the recipient supposed to know what a manufacturer ships their item in? If I couldn't sign for it, how would I know what the thing looks like? Not to mention I NEVER said it came in a small box, I said the package was probably small. Never the less I drove down there and they handed me the envelope which, get this, had my ADDRESS AND NAME RIGHT ON IT. I was there for 5-10 minutes and they would rather take my info and call me back rather than use their eyeballs to inspect the packages more than a 1 seconds glance. Truly incompetent staff and I suspect I avoided being the victim of a package theft. They claimed they were going to call me, but honestly after how they treated the situation and laughed as I left the second time, I think I got lucky to receive my package at all in this instance. They are a privately owned franchise, so I would avoid them at all costs. Go to a retail chain location instead. I've never run into issues with those locations. The UPS Corporate Headquarters woman I spoke to was more than happy to hear and document my complaint about this, which was a nice relief. Stay safe out there and make sure you are diligent in your package pickups. The last thing you want to do is have your items stolen. read more

These guys suck! Placed a print order on line, they quote ready at certain time. 2 hours past that time they email to say they ran out of black toner. The next morning I go to pick it up. Printer is streaking the other colors on the printout. Their equipment is old and not maintained. Store looks shoddy. The staff was a jerk. Seemed totally pissed to be there --- cant blame him. I come to this store primarily for dropping off Amazon returns. The service is fast and polite. I'm out of there usually in 2 minutes or less. They always give me a receipt so I have proof I dropped off the item and can track it. Usually by the time I get home Amazon has issued the refund. I love it at this location. When it was finally my turn I asked for his name, it was Zeke. HE then ASKED ME if there was a problem. I told him it would be nice to be acknowledged while I wait for 13 minutes. Before I could even finish, he started yelling about how he's the only person and he's busy, I said I understand but he could just say "I'll be right with you" but... he kept talking over me. For some reason, a package was delivered to this store - which is far from my home - although several are within a couple miles of home. It's an unfortunate situation because the guy that manages the store was incredibly rude and not helpful. The employee was far more helpful than the manager. The manager, Shujohn was rude and not helpful at all. He should not work with customers. Someone needs to teach the management how to communicate with someone. I'd encourage going somewhere else if you care about what you are mailing. read more

The lady at the front desk was EXTREMELY rude from the beginning! 3 different bank cards were declining (later we found out it was an issue with all UPS stores) so she told me "are you sure you have money in your accounts"? Worthless and cheap staff on 11/20/14 at 2pm. Terrible selection of boxes. I just needed 2 pieces of tape to secure the package inside their huge box so it didn't flop around. They wouldn't let me use any - insisted I buy a $5 roll of tape. They wouldn't even tape the box closed that I was going to purchase from them. Do I also have to load the box on the truck? Not sure what the heck the staff is even there for - they were about as helpful as a drop off box. The assistance I was attempting to work with barely spoke English - not helpful. I've been to numerous UPS and FedEx locations where they'll let you use a tiny bit of tape, or at the very least, tape your box closed. Costs them maybe a few cents worth of tape and provides them with business. Now it's gonna be a cold day in hell before I ship this or any other package through this UPS location. read more

Went to Home Depot, bought a box and bubble wrap, used UPS online to buy my postage and it was under $35 to do to the whole thing. I fully expected and was willing to pay a premium to have it handled - but not that rich a premium. I went in to drop off a package and asked if they could print the label for me, as I had it in an email. I have done this many times at other stores with no issues. After he printed it and I was about to leave, he told me I owed $1.07 for printing the label. I was not happy, but I paid it because I don't steal. Thank the Lord he has blessed this day with patience. UPS left a notice on the door to pick up at this location with out the Name of whom the package was for so I assumed it was mine since I am expecting something and was unaware my boyfriend who I live with (different last names is key here) had a delivery also. So I go to the location and the young bloke is looking up the package and sees the information and begins to look in the store. He cannot find it and the store manager Cindy Williams asks me to step aside so he can help other customers while I wait for them to do a investigation and that I can just leave and they'll call me. I said no thanks, I'll wait and make sure you guys actually attempt to resolve this. People keep coming in and they just keep helping them while I am standing there. Someone finally comes back from their break and I get the help I initially thought I deserved, but according to the manager asking me to step aside clearly I am not worth her time. After almost an hour of waiting and 2 people looking in the store the girl who came back from her break calls their help desk for further assistance. They tell her the package name is under my boyfriends name and boom the package was there the whole time. Had these people used their customer service skills to inquire if anyone else lived in the house hold they would have found it in seconds. Wow UPS. 4/6/18 Worst UPS I've ever encountered. Not because of the company but because of Cindy Williams who runs this store. Every encounter I have had with her has been negative. I called yesterday at 8 am to make sure someone was available to Notarize and she said she was the person who does it but that she would not be doing it because other customers packing needs are more important. I responded asking if she was refusing service and then she went on to tell me she forgot her notary stuff at home. Pretty sure you should not be removing a notary book from the store since it holds people's drivers license information and addresses. Contacted corporate about her behavior. If you go to the UPS on Val Vista and Elliot their staff is always willing to help and have a positive attitude. They also told me she is not allowed to refuse notarizing and someone is required to be available to notarize. BEWARE if you come here. read more

I was just in the store 2 weeks ago, at the height of the pandemic and was not required to wear a mask. Now that we're starting to open the state, I''m required to wear a mask?
