Came here to obtain my fingerprint clearance card, as this was the closest location to my house. Staff was very nice and all social distancing and COVID precautions are followed here. I received my card within the week! Would recommend them for fingerprinting services. They're also a full service shipping and marketing company! read more

I stopped by yesterday to ship a package as they were conveniently located next to another stop of mine, but I have never been here before. Unfortunately I seriously doubt I will ever be back. A: The parking feels like a Jerry Bruckheimer movie. Days of Thunder to be exact. Everybody drives through it like they are trying to win the checkered flag. B: One girl working the desk spent 10 minutes talking to a regular about how their days were going. She saw me but rather than saying she needed to help a customer she just kept talking with her friend about the weather. C: The guy who eventually help me was wearing headphones and was jamming out the entire time. Customer service can be found down aisle seven, parked next to the lost Arc of the Covenant. read more

I'm never going back, maybe I walked in at a bad time But when the employee starts huffing and puffing rolling his eyes it's time to spend your hard earned cash somewhere else, read more

This place is simply the WORST. Our family has been going there for years. The last two owners were great but a couple years ago they sold again and it's been terrible ever since. They nickel and dime you on everything. I went in to mail a package. They suggested that I tape it more to make sure it's safe (mind you this is a padded envelope) and offer to tape it for me. I said yes, thank you. After taping it (no more than 6 inches of tape was used) they tell me there will be a "tape fee" of 75¢. I had no choice but to pay it since it's already on my package but c'mon.. 75¢ for six inches of tape? Get out of here. They way overcharge shipping. Costs generally almost double what it costs at other places. I could give a million examples of the business sense this place lacks but unfortunately I have to go. Need to go mail some packages.... BUT NOT HERE. read more

I never write reviews, but my experience at Star Mail was so poor, I felt compelled to warn others. DO NOT TAKE PASSPORT PHOTOS HERE!! They will be rejected at Chandler Passport Acceptance Facility, because the dimensions are not correct, according to the facility at Chandler City Hall. Panicked, we had to rush to a CVS and retake the photos. Unfortunately, we mailed two of the 5 applications in the mail because they were a renew. Now we don't know if they will be accepted or if we will be able to get our passports in time for our family vacation that we have already paid for. The customer service here was unsympathetic and unapologetic towards their mistake and the added stress and money their mistake has caused. They wouldn't issue a refund on all the photos that were not accepted. This company just cares about money and NOT about the products they provide, nor customer service. I will never do business with them again. read more

Thank you, thank you Susan, you made me so comfortable when I was there for fingerprinting. Even though you were super busy, you took time to explain and help me with the process. read more

I want to give the owner some feedback here because I really have been happy with this place in the past. The staff struggles. Yesterday I went in with a few simple items to mail. The guy behind the counter had his hoodie on and could barely give me the time of day. I asked if he could compare prices for me and he let out a huge sigh before answering my question. I ended up leaving and driving to the higley post office where they helped me weigh out my options in a friendly way and with a smile. They are so close to getting it right here - but the customer service is lacking - just getting someone with a smile and a helpful spirit would be a game changer. read more

This place is awful. The owner/employees are so nice --- too nice. And they are shockingly S L O W. They talk too much, move too slowly, and can't seem to be efficient. Just today: a young man waiting in line finally got to the counter. He just wanted to mail an envelope. But the worker then interrupted serving him to go take someone's fingerprints. The poor kid stood there for probably 10 minutes before getting to complete his business. The worker then polls everyone in the place to find out what they needed so she could do "triage". Quit wasting time and move it! Unfortunately, in this part of town there aren't many options. I hope that when the new Fry's shopping center opens that there will be a place that can deal with mail and be quick, efficient and uncluttered. I am never going back to Star Mail - ever! read more

The owner Susan is wonderful and a beautiful human being. They're not a corporate chain but a small business and should be supported by the community. read more

Dedicated and friendly staff. Every customer is greeted and given all the attention needed to complete their tasks. Fingerprinting, electronic and ink, is very quick and easy. Postal services, notary and passport photos, are a few more services offered, in one, convenient location. Professionalism, with customer service and attentiveness is their priority. read more

I came in to get a new fingerprint clearance card because I needed a different type for my master's program. The woman who was helping me was so kind and patient. I explained to her that on my previous fingerprint clearance card I had to go back twice to redo my fingerprints because they are very light and I have always struggled with fingerprint sensors, etc. We ran each hand and finger multiple times and got it done. I went in on Christmas Eve and I just got my new card in the mail today! (New Years Eve) so everything was completed within a week! Great and fast service. Thank you!! read more

This is my new go to spot for mail. The staff is friendly and helpful, turning a chore into a pleasant pit stop. There is another mail shop closer to my house, but since the new owners took over this place, I make the drive. read more

One of the most unprofessional experiences ever with the owner of the company. She was very rude and spoke to me as if I was a peasant. I will NEVER step foot into this establishment again. Their prices are extremely high and the quality of their work is below par read more

I was visiting Phoenix for the holidays and they helped me with shipping out at the last minute. I also got a cute plugin scent warmer for my home. The place is full of gifts, supplies, and the service is very friendly. Highly recommend this business. read more

We have used Star Mail for the past year and a half on a regular basis and Susan and her staff are wonderful! The prices are reasonable and the store is in a good location next to a Safeway store. read more

Always friendly and helpful, they are diligent in their profession. My go-to when the old school ink runs out or the government needs a fax.

Do not use this location for Fieldpoint Services. I was there for an hour for an appointment that should have taken less than 4 minutes.

This was probably the worst experience I've ever had. The smell is candles is outrageous. I'm on oxygen and actually was sick from it. The person seemed apologetic but you could tell it was fake. read more

I went into star mail needing documents for my I-9 verified. However, I didn't have my birth certificate/social security card in the state (both of which are needed for I-9) and if I didn't get this done, I would've lost the job I just started, given that I couldn't get my birth certificate or social security card in time. They were outstanding with the situation and helped me find another form of documentation to finish the process. I would highly recommend Star Mail for any mail/notary/fingerprint/I-9 services. Excellent customer service and staff. Thanks! read more

If your going to post on your door and your website that your open until 2 pm on Saturdays and I go at 1:15 and your closed isn't good business! Maybe changes your hours or actually work the hours you say your open! read more

The owner at this location is incredibly friendly, patient, and thorough. The cost to ship packages is very low compared to other service providers nearby. Most importantly, their customer service is impeccable. We use this mail center for all of our businesses and personal needs and highly recommend it to fellow yelpers. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE. I was charged $39.64 to ship an envelope by the CHEAPEST FedEx option within the US. I checked online and the standard flat rate for FedEx is $8.50!!! 4x! This is shameless gouging. We were shipping this for another person and had just left MD Anderson Cancer Center so i wasn't thinking too clearly and just paid it. For them to add $5 would have been a lot by my mind, but $31!! shame. read more

Terrible place absolutely terrible! Staff is rude and very nosy. Not to mention they have a sign outside that says they refuse service if they want. That's a huge red flag. Surprised this place is in business. Go to the post office instead. Hell they make Walmart employees seem delightful. read more

This place is useless if you want your package delivered ontime with any decent customer service don't go here... WAIST OF TIME.. Calling corporate since my package will be late... read more

Susan is so personable and kind. Since the first time I met her, she has always been so friendly and always greets you with a smile. I had to get a P O Box here just because of her customer service. When you are newer in town, the business that you want to go to the most frequent are the ones that have people like her there to assist you, not to mention, they offer many services besides mail here. I initially came here for fingerprinting for a job and had to come back. Great place and personable staff. read more

I would highly recommend going to a DIFFERENT place to ship any package. She did not know what documents were needed. She argued with the customer about what was needed and I have shipped many packages overseas. If you want good customer service do not come here. read more
