I use the ups store in Mesa for my Amazon returns. The location is convenient but parking is limited. I've never had an issue and love that it's always quick and easy to return my Amazon packages at this store. I haven't used any of their other services so I can't talk about them. read more

Switched to a different UPS store on Power Rd but in the Las Sendas area and they have everything the previous owners of this location offered. Mailbox access at any hour and you can pay monthly. Kaitlyn was the best employee this location had and she's gone so there was zero reason to remain here with the current owner. read more

We came to see if we would be able to return and item in consumer box since we didn't have one but they told us it'd have to be a normal, commercial box. However, since the item was already in a mail-ready bag, the workers here did us a solid and allowed us to return the item in the bag that it was already in. What nice people. read more

Don't know why the bad reviews. Went in with an Amazon return .. I did keep the Amazon box it was shipped from and used that to do the return. I purposely left the box untaped to see if I would be charged. The gentlemen behind the counter said he would take care of it .. didn't get charged. Got my drop off receipt and went on my way. This is the least friendly and least helpful UPS store I have EVER been to! I have given it several chances, as we live close by - but due to the constant lack of friendliness and zero customer service I will not be returning. Staff is unwelcoming and will just stare at you until you introduce yourself and state what you need. I needed a small piece of tape and they told me I could buy some from their display. I've never been told I couldn't use a pen or have an extra piece of tape at a UPS store. Save yourself frustration and find another location! read more

I have been to many UPS stores and have not experienced such fraudulence. They changed me for a larger package than what I brought into the store. I measured, weighed and got online for UPS rates prior to visiting the store ( shared the printed copy) and they charged me for a package 2 inches bigger in each direction. Which was a $15.00 increase than what was on the UPS website. This practice has been a reported a number of times at this site. Corporate UPS should be notified of the fraudulent practices at this store!! Avoid this store! read more

These people have zero customer service. They're are cheap cheap cheap. My experience at other stores have outshined this one. Other stores are more than happy to help tape up your boxes no charge, while this one will nickel and dime you. The owner stereotype is in full effect here. Take your business elsewhere. Avoid this store at all costs. They tried to overcharge me for an 18" box that they said was a 19 inch box because the flap on the box was 1/16 of an inch thick. Very, very rude people with no customer service skills whatsoever. I took my package to a different UPS store and they charged $10.85 to mail the same box that this store wanted to charge me $20 to send. My advice is to stay clear of this location. Very rude people. I went to this UPS store at Ellsworth & Baseline & tried to return an Amazon item. The clerk told me that the article I was returning had to be packaged in the original box. Amazon just said to bring the item and QR code to the store, but I was told by a heavy set clerk (who was not wearing a name tag) that he would not take the item until I packed it in the original box. When I opened the item I threw the original box away. I told him that & he said too bad, I am not taking it. I took the item to the UPS store at Power & Ray and they took my item with no questions asked. The clerk at Ellsworth & Baseline should be fired. This is by far the worst UPS STORE I've ever experienced since the addition of staff member, Cindy, in particular. She is rude from the moment you walk in the door. She spews negativity and makes comments as you're walking out the door after a negative experience. When I returned and asked to speak with the manager she said his name is on the card, but it's not. When I called to speak with said manager, Steve, I was told he was not in and she refused to tell me when a good time to call back. I asked several times and she refused to answer. She then hung up on me. What happened to humble service in a business??? Atrocious and absolutely inexcusable behavior!!!!! read more

This is probably the best UPS store in the valley. The staff are always very friendly, and seem genuinely appreciative of my business. I went in today with an Amazon return and didn't realize I needed a box (the other returns I had with me didn't need a box.) The guy behind the counter told me I needed a box, but then said "no worries, we have some boxes that need to be recycled, so I'll just use one of those." Fantastic! I had an issue with a UPS in Tempe trying to charge me $18 for a box for an Amazon return before, so this was a refreshing change. Great store, great staff. read more

Full disclosure, I make A TON of Amazon purchases. I had unfortunately let some of the items I needed to return accumulate but my husband was nice enough to go drop them at the UPS store for me. Amazon never seems to make returns easy and everything ended up having to go back in separate boxes. Great news for UPS getting to ship so many different boxes and charge Amazon for it, bad news for us having to pack so many boxes. The front desk girl was apparently extremely rude to my husband and was very put out to helping him (mind you it wasn't busy). He also accidentally brought in the one FedEx package we had by mistake and she gave him and entire speech on don't bring this here which he had already said he didn't mean to and it must have gotten mixed in with all our other returns. Then once he finally gets all our packages in the girl proceeds to rudely tell him to start self scanning them? WTF is going on in this world, obviously this woman is not intelligent enough to realize that the automated scanning option she is referencing is literally meant to replace the service she provides, also what are you doing if you aren't helping customers? I wish I had been there to address this myself but I think it's important that whoever owns this franchise understands that they lost a ton of business with us shipping back our returns through this location. Although it's pretty obvious after now going back and reading the other reviews the owner of this location must be completely okay with the how rudely their employees treat customers because it seems to be a long-standing issue. Also my husband took our one Fedex package to Power Postal on Power and McDowell (just across the street) and their customer service was absolutely wonderful. They held the door for him, asked if he had anything else they could help him carry in, and they take everything (Fedex, UPS, USPS). Dropped off 4 packages about a week ago. When I looked at the tracking numbers provided (4 different ones) only 1 package was scanned into the system and sent. When I searched the other 3 tracking numbers all the said was 'label created' when I tried to call the phone number on the receipt, it wasn't even the phone number for the store, it was for UPS customer service which directed me to talk to the store but refused to give me a phone number for the store. When I googled the store it only shows the UPS customer service number. This is horrible customer service when the customer can't even call the UPS store where they dropped off packages. And why weren't all 4 packages scanned so they can be tracked with the tracking numbers provided!? Definitely would not recommend using this UPS store for shipping...they'll lose your package and you're left out in the rain with no help read more

I would not go back, I will not conduct business with them anymore. They wasted my time and I wasted my money on them. I brought in a painting that was about 40 X 30 inches and weighted about 3lbs. I ask the blonde girl at the counter for an estimate to ship the painting as I was getting a few quotes for the shipping businesses in the area, she tells me it's going to be $50 total. So, I come back in the next 2 days after thinking they had the best quote. I go through the process of sending out the painting and the lady (different person) tells me it's going to cost $233.14 in total. I was f''ing pissed AND now I'm in a time crunch to get this out before a meeting. I told the lady what I was quoted before, but all she could do was apologize and give me $5 off. I paid the f'ing amount and I was livid. I felt tricked and I would have went somewhere else if I had the time at that moment. I have many more paintings to mail out but I won't do business here again and I will let everyone of my business associates know of my horrible experience here. read more

I would give no stars if possible! They fingerprinted my son and his fingerprints were sent back because of the poor quality of the prints. I had a letter stating that it was the printers fault. The guy who printed my son remembered him and said yes he did print him. My son is disabled and does not drive or have a license so the first time they took my license and then charged $15 for the service. But when asked to reprint and even when the printer remembered doing it the first time they would not guy reprint my son because he didn't gave a license this time either when it was their mistake. I have been to this store in the past and I have to admit I was very disappointed! I had to send a package a few days ago and they were the closet place so I went in and boy was I blown away! They are now under new ownership and new employees and I was very impressed! The customer service was remarkable and they made the process of sending my package out very smooth. I noticed they offer notary services so I went back the next day to have items notarized it was quick and faster than going to the bank. Buyer beware PO Box rental - After almost 2 years of renting a po box I informed the owner I didn't need my po box anymore. When I asked about forwarding mail I was told mail can't be forwarded from a po box, which is fine, so I asked if that is the case please return any mail to the postman.. I was then firmly told they would hold all mail for 6 months and if I wanted to get it I would have to pay for 6 more months for the po box... MY MAIL will be held hostage unless I pay almost $200 seems like it should be mail theft... the worst of it was the attitude of the owner who pretty much told me if I dont like it then pay the hostage charge... I don't usually write reviews, but I had to warn people. Others have said the store was under new ownership/management, but it hasn't gotten any better. Sent a package Priority on Wednesday for an important Friday delivery. The gal didn't do the label correctly (I pointed out that she forgot the direction) so she re-did the label. She gave me the tracking for the wrong label. I first called the store Friday at 9:00 and no one answered. Called again and got Steve. He was sort of rude, cutting off my complaint and asking for the tracking number. Not very customer oriented. I had him call me back and he couldn't track the package. Then he called again and found the tracking but told me that it would probably be delivered on Saturday--too late! He said that Priority isn't like UPS in that they don't guarantee a delivery date. I told him I wished the girl that had helped me would have told me that. Never once did Steve say "sorry" for my trouble, "sorry" for the confusion, anything! I guess "sorry" isn't in his vocabulary. Anyway, I will go to another UPS Store. There are several. Actually, there is a FedEXKinko's right across the street and I will start using them! My advice for customers is to check and double check their processes to make sure addresses are correct, tracking numbers are correct and delivery information is confirmed! read more
