I have never been treated so rudely in in my life. I came to pick up a package that was attempted to be delivered at my address, according to the tracking info I received. I didn't have a pick up slip because they never came to my door to attempt delivery. Signature was required on the package. I waited home all day to sign for the package and they never even came to my door to attempt delivery. When I went to pick up the package from the post office I was asked if I had a pick up slip. I told him no because they never attempted to deliver it. The entire time the attitude that I received was unbelievable. The package was to be delivered to my door. He insisted that it was hold for pick up at the post office. This is incorrect. Avoid this post office at all costs. If you live in this ZIP Code, I pity you. These people know they work for the government and are untouchable. Anyone who treated a customer this way without provocation would be reprimanded or fired in a private business. I didn't walk in with a chip on my shoulder, but I definitely walked out with one. Basic respect goes a long way. read more

Supervisor Ian Maldonado was as bad as they come. We moved into our house on 9/24. Did the change of address on 9/19. We had everything forwarded. Just like I have always done in the previous 5 times I've moved. No issues before. Thursday 10/3 I had a package marked as "delivered". Which it wasn't. We were left a green tag with us to write our names on it. They didn't mark which post office delivers our mail in the spot where it says "your post office is". It says put this in the mail when completed or put the other side as "vacant" if it is vacant. We filled it out. And left it in there as instructed. I'm hoping it gets delivered tomorrow. Then I notice it was marked as "vacant". I went to the post office on Saturday. Talked with Ian. He did nothing. Just told me it wasn't at the location. I will talk with the carrier. Nothing we can do. Change of address does nothing. Which to me is frustrating because we were getting mail that was forwarded. But nothing that was at our new address. Clearly we lived there as you are delivering stuff. You see my name on it. Then on 10/8. I see that the package has left the post office. So I call usps to see if they can reroute it. They put in a case and say they are trying to reroute it. Check back in after 2-3 business days. I called the post office 10 times over the next two days. It got to the point where I knew how long it would ring. And then hang up. 3 minutes and 45 seconds. Not answered once. Again. This is frustrating because Ian says it wasn't there. But clearly it shows it was. Then I get a call 10/12 from Ian saying the package is back to the sender. Looks like the phones do work over there. And that again this isn't their fault. It wasn't at the location. And that the change of address does nothing. It is their policy that when someone new moves. They have to have that person stop by the post office to tell them they moved in. I've never heard of this ever in my life. But apparently it is the usps code of conduct to not deliver mail that I payed for and did a change of address. Not once did he apologize or offer to reimburse me for anything. Zero accountability. Super pumped I have to deal with this post office at my new house. 1 star is too high. read more

Not sure how this place has so many negative reviews and I'm hoping it's before they got new staff. I come to this Post Office due to how quickly they get through the line! The postal worker who delivers to my apartment never comes to the door for certified letters they put a note in the box as if they did. I work from home if know if someone came to my door not only that but I have a ring camera. This is a consistent concern I call the post office and no one answers I have made previous complaint to the customer service rep at the post office and was told they don't have to come to the door but I spoke with a supervisor who said yes they do. I also worked for the post office and know that we do have to go to the door and make attempts to collect a signature which isn't being done by this post office or postal carrier. I live on the first floor so it's not like they have to climb stairs it's frustrating when I just see them lying about making attempts at my door when that is false. read more

Usually when someone leaves a package at someone's house, they are a little more respectful. This package didn't even make it to the DOOR. There was no knock on my door, I've been inside all day. It looks like it was just tossed towards the door. It's an edible box with fruit and stuff "eat immediately " is printed right on the address label (that wasn't even facing up, another reason it looks tossed) and it was left right in the sun, when there's shade right there next to the door. I know it's the holiday season but come on. A little more respect for people's things. read more

Today I was mailing my renewal form for my passport. When I got to the counter I pulled out my form that had my picture attached to it the "customer service rep that had tattooes up his arms and dark hair" immediately said nope... we don't do that and I said I just need to staple this other side of my picture and he then replied I don't have one it's broken.. I said come on really you mean to tell me that in this whole postal office you don't have one and he said no. He was no help and obviously had it already in his head that he wasn't going too once he saw I pulled out a passport form. I just needed a quick staple and was going to mail it off. read more

The worst USPS in the entire US. These guys love to lie about everything. If you live near this area, they will never drop any order you make online including Amazon at your front door. You have to physically drive here all the time to pick up your order. They will lie and say they left a note on your door. However they will drop your mail but as far as online orders and packages are concern, that will never happen. There is always 1 person in the counter and they have to worst customer service in the entire universe. Screw this place. Bunch of liars and liars and liars and liars and liars. This post office is just a few minutes away from us and it's always a joy to come here. People at the windows are courteous and welcoming and they always have great advice on how to save you money when sending stuff to loved ones. It's hardly ever busy and there's plenty of parking. Moved to the neighborhood that is served by this Post Office ( Mesa Desert Station) about a year ago. Each and every time I do business with them, they have been outstanding in every way including knowledge, recommendations, efficiency and great overall customer service with a smile. We have a lot of Winter visitors in this neighborhood and so it's crowded during the time they are all here. No matter how busy it is, the staff at this Post Office have smiles on their faces and are courteous. Always a pleasure to do business with them! Finally, our letter carrier Kathy, who is based out of this office is fantastic. She always takes a moment to say hello and remembers details about many of the customers on her route and delivers our mail accurately every time! Thanks Kathy! Thanks you guys! read more

Worst post office ever! I called looking for a package that should have been delivered and they were not even slightly helpful. The 'delivery supervisor' was exteremly rude and kept placing me on hold before letting me get my story out. When I requested to speak with a manager, he told me he was it and I'd just have to wait for my items. I know it's impossible to work with another office as delivery is based on your address but try anything before you call them! read more

I tried calling your number and it gives me a busy tone. One of your carries that handles the 1849 address left the mailboxes unattended and unlock. Getting a hold of someone has been hectic. If you may send a us postal driver to our community to lock the mailboxes it be great! read more

This Post Office delivers my packages and mail. I shop online quite a bit due to health problems. I also get medications in the mail. I have a mailbox where my mail drops down a small hole to rest at the bottom to then be removed in the back with a key. My packages, no matter how large they are, are constantly shoved into the mailbox and down the hole to the bottom! I am amazed what they have been able to force down to the bottom; it must take some skill and effort! Today, 2 pairs of pants, a shirt, and pajamas went down the mailbox. How much effort would it take to walk to my door and ring my bell? The outside bags have been ripped, but nothing inside has been ripped, thankfully, or I would be furious. And, things marked fragile or health products do not get any special treatment. What has happened to work ethics and to common courtesy? read more

This post office regularly delivers us another person's mail or package at least several times a year! We have lived here for 13 years and yes, it still happens several times a year! I have complained to them numerous times because I start to wonder about my own mail being delivered wrong. They seem to never recheck the addresses on the mail or the name. We have gotten our neighbors mail from next door and a neighbor down the street who has similar numbers to ours. They have complained also. Nothing is ever done since it has been 13 years now! No greeting: not a hello or good morning or even a general grunt of acknowledgement from the man who "assisted" me. Handed him my priority mail box with the prepaid Poshmark label on it, he stared at it for awhile, then looked at me and said "you can't use this box..." and proceeded to tell me that I needed to put the item in a plain box because that's all my label covers. Even after I told him it's the same box that use every time that I use this prepaid label - still won't send it. Even though Poshmark's website specifically states Priority Mail boxes (also includes Priority Mail Flat Rate or Priority Mail Regional Rate) - still won't send it. So I left with my box, drove to the next nearest post office where they scanned and sent it without any question. Will not be returning to this location. read more

I sent a Cashiers Check with a signature required to someone in Mesa. When the letter arrived some not so bright employee stamped it no such address. Tracking this, I called and spoke with the manager and explained situation and said that they made an error. He knew who did it, but had no idea where the letter was. Now I find out after 7 days it is being sent back to me. Now I have a cashiers check for quite a bit of money that I can not return for 90 days to get my monies back. This facility is the first and worse USPS location I have ever dealt with. Saying sorry does not help. If he was any type of manager he would have stopped and spent time looking for this letter and calling me back as he promised. I understand that this is a small location and this happens much to often. No customer service here. Very unhappy as this makes so much work for me at their disinterest in helping a customer. No return phone calls to me as promised. read more
