The rude customer service in addition to the gouging of services costs- charging nearly $3 to print a label and when I complained about how expensive it was, they both ganged up on me telling me I can go down the street. I get that you need to charge for your service but you don't need to gouge your customers for it. You're gonna get a bad reputation, which seems like you already have judging from your ratings. If you were my employee, you'd be fired so quick. I will not be giving them my business. I would rather drive further to give someone else my business, then deal with that. read more

The Manager was super helpful when I needed two passport pictures: she let me in as soon as she saw me outside before opening time. I had stopped by the day before in the afternoon but we couldn't take photos because of lightning and shades in the photo area. Service at this store - where I've been coming for years - has always been very good, the assistance as well and the staff are friendly. I came into The UPS Store to drop off a package and was honestly shocked by the experience. I already had everything ready except for printing the shipping label, and they tried to charge me just to print it. I understand businesses have costs, but charging customers for something so small when they're already using your service feels excessive. What happened to basic customer service? A simple courtesy print would have gone a long way in building goodwill. Instead, it felt like nickel-and-diming. Pretty disappointing experience overall. I was in the area and decided to, why not let me see if the team at the UPS store could help. The first person was not entirely sure how to help, but they did not give up. Rather they referred me to a senior employee, Josie. Josie was happy to help and I felt went above normal customer service to help me out. I. The end we were able to find a solution and I was very happy. At times these stores get swamped and deal with multiple customers with a variety of issues. Fantastic location! I stopped in this evening to mail a package. There were ~ 5 employees there, all hustling (working, serving customers, cleaning) no one standing around chitchatting. All the employees were friendly and knowledgeable, quickly getting customers through the line. One girl was cleaning and she stopped to acknowledge me in line and assured me they would be right with me (above & beyond). Maggie (I believe) was the name of the woman who helped me - thank you!! I had a mailbox at this facility for two years and they treated me horribly the customer service reps. There's two women there that act like they do not care or like their job. They have such attitude when they talk to customers and they turn over high school worker. So they clearly are not able to keep workers there. My friend had already sent a package to me and in the same time frame my mailbox was "due" or I needed to close it. *Mind you my friend had already sent it and I didn't know my box was up or she wouldn't have sent it. * So I decided to close it cause they over price them. Then one of the women lied to my face said they would hold my package SINCE it was in the time frame of me closing my box. I show up they wasted my time and I would've had them resend it back to my friend and they told me it was a $10 fee. It would be cheaper for my friend to send it back. If you're a good customer service place I was a customer there for two years and spent THOUSANDS of dollars there. You should do this as a service for me if you want me to come back and spend money or buy labels there so guess what you just lost one of the biggest customers in your area. read more

No matter how busy (sometimes line out the door) the staff greets everyone with a smile and works efficiently to help everyone in a timely manner. I had a photo of the bar code for the shipping label on my phone that the staff could easily print as independent shippers readily do, and share the pic with the stores web site and print the label. Yes they would for $2.15. The independent stores readily provide the service at no charge. It costs the store a sheet of copy paper. Do not allow this extra charge. Go to the independent at Higley and Brown. They I'll serve you. Yes I asked the young lady manager to forgo the charge and told her a Yelp review was all I could do. read more

I been a regular customer at this location and I must say the new management now has been one of the best ones I have seen. Just the fact as you go in it smells very good, you can feel the nice, positive vibe from all the staff. Everyone is always friendly they go out of their way to help out specially the elderly. From my experience doing returns, shipments, and other services have been excellent every time. The manager is very efficient an excellent in multi-tasking. The staff are always working at a fast pace to try and get the line moving. Aside from the great service I always receive, I must say and want the Owner and Corporate to be aware of the encounters I have witnessed very disrespectful and rude customers towards the employees when all they are doing is trying to help out. I have read all the rude and negative reviews and it seems like its from all the customers doing amazon returns who get mad once they are told how to bring back the item either packaged or no packaged. From the times I've been in never have I witnessed the staff be disrespectful but try to handle the situation professionally. I want all the employees to know they are all doing an excellent job keep up the great work!!!!!! I had a prepaid return shipping number for a defective product. Both employees were rude and seemed bothered by my presence. There was a customer there before me who was being helped. They were openly talking about how she "filled the form out wrong twice" and they had to fix it, and now it was finally done. The female employee acted like she had never seen a return number with prepaid packing and postage before and insisted that the number I had wasn't for that purpose. I wouldn't even go back to drop off a pre packaged and pre paid package at this location let alone give them a penny of my money. They need to learn some customer service skills and some manners. read more

I insured my package - they lost my package and it has taken over five months to receive the check. Not only is the check written with a misspelled name. It is not even the amount that was promised when I first put the insurance on the package. It gets worse I have been into the store multiple times I have called multiple times I've left messages for the manager Steve multiple times. I can't even believe I had to give one star just to post this - Steve the manager has NEVER called me back. COMPLETE unprofessionalism and lack of respect for customers! The fact that he won't even return a phone call has gotten to the point of being absolutely ridiculous! If it was up to me Steve would be fired on the spot! I feel sorry for several of the workers that have had to give me one excuse after another why he won't call and handle this promptly. read more

I sent two packages to be returned. One package was sent correctly the other package was sent back to my house. When arriving back to the this UPS store to let them know what happened Francis was EXTREMELY rude. She let me know that this is all my fault when they were the ones that labeled my packages and sent them. I just can't believe how much attitude Francis had and how rude she was. It got to the point where I to asked her why she was being so rude to me. There were other employees there who were able to step in and help me and get my package reshipped properly. I brought a rifle in to ship to a buyer in PA. When asked, I foolishly told the guy what was in the box. He refused to ship it. I left, called ups to complain and was told they do, in fact, ship guns. So I went back and the owner, Steve, still refused like a petulant, arrogant child who I then got into an argument with. Eventually i got to his no gun sign he said, "the constitution is for right wing A holes and no one needs a gun" So see all of the reviews here and on google that pretty much all day he's rude and arrogant, pay attention. UPS Management I sure hope you read these. I went to the UPS store today at 2733 N Power Rd at 5:33pm, my receipt says employee # 203318. You've got Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum working. Young guys maybe 21-25 years old. First he tried to tell me I have to do all my transactions on a single payment. I explained I am mailing to 2 different individuals who are paying for the shipping at my office, they cannot be on the same receipt. He thought about it for a while then said ok. So too damn lazy to cash me out, then do another transaction and cash me out again. Then he is listening to his personal music on his cell phone streamed to the store, how I know he was stopping, pausing, then forwarding music right in front of me, how professional of him. Then he put on a cussing rap song that said the F-word about 7 times and another lady in the stores eyes got so big from shock Tweedle -Dum got the picture and turned it off with a comment under his breath laughing" that was bad." The other guy went to the back and put a package away and came back to a line to the door and mumbled under his breath but loud enough where I could hear "Jesus christ" and was irritated that people were waiting. Management it is VERY CLEAR these guys have ZERO customer service skills and don't need to work there. I will come to the store again but if these idiots are there I will walk right out. Replace them with people who #1 WANT A JOB and #2 have professionalism. Please look at your in-store camera I am sure you will catch other unprofessional things by these individuals, very sad they are representing your store today. read more

Ever looking for the worst possible customer service possible? Well go to this place! Line moves slower than the DMV... the staff are high school dropouts that don't give a damn about your or your needs. Today there was a line 15 deep and mind you my package was postage paid, all I needed to do is "drop it off". The store won't allow a simple drop off and run... so you must wait in que to hand your package to the worker who then turns and tosses it on the floor. Wow Worst customer service ever. I paid a courier to pick up and to package a special gift for a friend to be delivered on July 5th. The courier dropped it of at 9:30 am on July 3rd, paid 128.00 for guaranteed arrival by July 5th. When I checked tracking number on July 5th it stated package was waiting for pickup. I called the store and was told package was out and would arrive that day. I called UPS and was told the driver did go to the store on the 3rd but that package wasn't picked up. I called back and after 20 minutes someone finally admitted that they forgot to put it in the outgoing mail. I then paid the courier to pick up package and mail by fedex who has never let me down. I asked for refund and was told I'd need to talk to manager. I left my number and today, 4 days after package was to arrive I received a call from the store owner Steve. He said I had to come in to get a refund. I asked why package wasn't sent and he yelled at me "how the hell should I know that just happens and I'm not taking the blame" never accepted responsibility, never offered to reimburse my cost for the courier, never even apologized. He said it probably went to the shipping center and got missed, when I said they never picked up and my courier cane on July 5th and package was still sitting in his store he said that he has no idea what happened and I couldn't prove anything and if I wanted a refund he would mail a check otherwise I need to come to him and refused to apologize saying he couldn't be sure it was his fault. Look at the other reviews. This guy needs a reminder that overnight delivery is a promise and that if he can't hire people that can do their job correctly he shouldn't be in business. Go somewhere else and save yourself the aggravation Oh and still waiting for refund which he will probably never send read more

Went to return a package which I told Matt that I needed to ship the package cheaply but with a tracking number so when I got home I could email the company the tracking number. When I got home I looked at the receipt which it was marked First Class letter not package and no tracking number. I contacted the store and Matt said that it didn't matter about the wording on the receipt for the shipping of it and that it didn't have a tracking number on it. That I needed to come back the next day since it was too late to get to the store before it closed and pay the 75 cents to put tracking number on it. First, the customer service and attitude from the employee definitely needs to get better. Second, I don't appreciate my time being wasted due to their mistake. So after paying the 75 cents I definitely won't be back. read more
