I used Pak Mail for years. Quality of service is so terrible now I refuse to use their service after today. I sent my young daughter to drop off a USPS FLAT RATE box that should have cost $25 to ship. The man weighed it and said the package would be roughly $39 to ship. She inquired and said but it's a flax rate box. He replied we go by weight. So she paid it!!! Do you think they would have said that you can ONLY do the flat rate shipping at a USPS location??? Of course NOT! I called and spoke to Eddie. Boy was a NOT shocked on how RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL and MEAN he was when I inquired about pricing. He would barely let me get a word in. I refuse to ship or use their services and will be sure to post on every platform and verbally share my experience with anyone who would like to help another respectfully owned business that I would be happy to do business with in the future! Fyi- it takes A-LOT for me to be so upset and disappointed to leave such a negative review. Ridiculous customer service, I yelp all businesses that I have any conflict with. My whole family has had bad service this location. Business's should always provide the customer with simple rules and great service. I'm disappointed business, because I have done business with this location for 2 1/2 years prior to renting a P.O Box. They were awesome. I have been calling over 20 movers and moving companies to ship a few items, a kitchen table, chairs and an armoire. Either I wouldn't get a call back when I called and left messages. Or, the cost was 2600-5000$. It had taken me weeks of calling and waiting. With the last call that got me no where, fed ex came to mind. I called Pak mail and was told that they can do the shipment. I didn't have to pay until they picked up the items and weighed them. They were reasonable and awesome to work with. They came as scheduled and actually had an earlier date due to a change in their schedule, but I wasn't available. Wonderful wonderful people. Had great customer service in the beginning - the delivery men were awesome! Things fell apart when I realized not all my items were picked up and delivered. When contacted they decided to agree to disagree with the original location. Never called me, their customer, back. I recently ordered furniture from Arizona Iron Works, a lot of furniture! Problem is, they do not ship, and recommended I get in touch with Pak Mail. I can not say enough about how helpful, professional and responsive they were in helping me get my product. It had to be custom crated, packed and loaded onto pallets, four giant containers of very heavy items. I was amazed at the condition my furniture arrived in. PERFECT! Not a scratch, not a tear in the fabric, cushions very well protected. It could not have been done better, truly the best possible outcome. They had this figured out from the day after I called them, when to pick up, how it was being freighted, how to pack it...really put my mind at ease. Ok for the guy about the flat rate box yes they do not have them but most of the time those flat rates cost more because the wieght of the box is not enough for $12 worth of postage. But I am a fan of this place. I was helped by younger looking guy and I was suprised at how knowledgeable he was. He knew more about shipping than anyone at the mail and more across the street including the owner. When I had to get a custom package this man, made me feel unsecure about my own body, was musclar like a monster, took this item that weighed at least 75 pounds with one hand like it was nothing. Then I came back to pick it up he carried it out by himself but I noticed that the package was so perfect I didn't even want to touch. They make boxes better than you get from the wall. If I did not know anything about something like why DHL is good with small international places I know I can go to them and they will handle everything. Now the first thing people always say is that the Priority Mail is overpriced but thats only because the push FEDEX more. FedEx is just as cheap at Pakmail than Priority Mail is and the post office and there is no lines, the will type of the label, you automatically get $100 insurance and tracking for free. But if you are so loyal to a system were you have to wait in a line for 30 minutes to get a crap shipping method with no tracking or insurance just because it is familar to you then maybe Pak Mail is to good for you.
