My husband and I used Assured Document Destruction for the second time based on their excellent performance the first time (about 7 months ago). The driver/technician (Frank) arrived on time after calling us first giving a 2 hour window. He immediately went to work emptying our boxes into a container that dumped all of the contents into the shredder inside the truck. We were able to view the actual shredding taking place from a remote camera outside of the truck. The entire process took about 15 minutes (11 boxes of material were shredded). The company's Residential Security Specialist (Terri) coordinated the entire process and provided the documentation necessary to confirm the project. Assured Document Destruction came to my home and destroyed (completely shredded) some old computer hard drives using a shredder inside their truck. They also took a box of old floppy discs back to their facility, used a different shredder and notified me when the job was complete. The office staff was professional, polite and respectful. The technician who did the shredding was extremely knowledgeable and arrived at my home as scheduled. The cost was quite reasonable. I have used two other shredding services and they were horrible experiences...difficult to schedule, didn't show up and/or over-charged for what they did. Assured Document Destruction was easy to contact and scheduling was a cinch. The driver called on the morning of the scheduled day to advise of the window for shredding and then called when he was on the way. He arrived on time and was pleasant and polite.
