Contacted Assured Document Destruction on a Monday to get an estimate for 35-40 bankers boxes to be shredded at a residential address. Braeden got back with me in less than 10 minutes. Christy called me in the afternoon to schedule - they could come in 2 days! Wow! Adrian called on Wednesday morning to let me know what time he would arrive. Adrian (the driver) came (on time!) - he was polite, and worked quickly and efficiently. There were no hidden charges - the bill was exactly as estimated. Christy had asked me when I scheduled if I wanted them to take the empty bankers boxes after shredding for an additional fee. Absolutely! (No shredding company has ever offered me this. They always dumped my files, and left me with the boxes!) This was sure better than smashing empty boxes and trying to fit them in the recycle can. I would highly recommend this company. Smooth process from start to finish. Nice people. And, they had the best price! I will definitely use them again. read more

I didn't realize Assured and A-1 are probably the same company. When I called the Cutter's number to get shredding done, I got someone from Assured. I asked about Cutter's and she said they bought Cutter's last year. She said they always had the number I called, so I'm not sure if the Cutter's number forwarded calls to Assured or not, which would make the statement the lady that answered the phone true, but idk. Anyway, she told me it would be about $130, I believe up to 10 banker's boxes. I said I had the equivalent of 4-5 boxes. She said they could shred up to 10 boxes, so anything less they'll take for the $130. I was used to paying $30-60 with Cutter's, depending on how much shredding I had to do, so this price seemed outrageous to me. The lady on the phone seemed to me a bit snarky, but I could have perceived it that way after she told me the price is still $130ish ($129.XX). A part of me wanted to be sarcastic, but I wasn't. There wasn't any need to ever be sarcastic. I thanked her for her information, but it did not seem reasonable for me to pay so much. I ended up getting a much better deal with a Tempe company with incredible service & pricing and pay for what was being shredded instead of some flat price regardless. I've read a number of the reviews and they seem to like Assured, so maybe the woman that answered my call was having a bad day. idk. But I am missing Cutters. read more

When a truck with a Medieval dragon shows up to chomp on paper, you know they're serious. :-D I hired Assured after Stericycle basically dropped the ball (being polite there). Assured showed up on schedule, took care of the records of an entire homeowner association we dissolved (20+ years worth of paper) in a matter of minutes. The driver was courteous and detailed. Honestly, I would have paid more if they asked for it. Great service, thank you! Next time I have another giant wad of paper to shred, I'm keeping the number handy. read more

Love it that they come to your house and actually destroy the documents right in front of you. It's our second time using them and they are always on time, stay in communication and do what they say. Definitely recommend this business. read more

I just want to say that Customer Service is fantastic. I text chatted with Joseph, I talked with Carla and Armando did my curbside drop off. I just wanted to put a shout-out to Assured Document Destruction and the driver Brian for doing such a great job with my shred today! He was friendly, fast and professional. I will definitely be using their services again--mainly via an onsite locked paper cabinet from which they will empty and shred the contents on a monthly basis going forward--to keep my clients' private information safe and make my liability insurance carrier happy with me! I even got a free t-shirt out of the deal! Thanks, Assured! "Feed the dragon!" read more

My company had about 40 banker's boxes filled with sensitive documents that needed to be destroyed. I reached out to Assured after reading through the wonderful reviews. Terri responded within an hour to my online inquiry, and was super pleasant while answering all of my questions, providing a proposal and scheduling. Spencer contacted me when he was on the way to our office to provide an ETA, and arrived at the planned time. He was professional, polite and efficient. I was able to watch the documents be destroyed, and it was a huge time-saver to not have to load the documents and make a trip (or trips) to a shredding location. We will definitely be using Assured again! read more

Assured Document Destruction - Shredding Services Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

From the first phone call, the people at Assured Document Destruction were professional and friendly. First, Braeden, in the office answered my many questions and was always available to answer more. We had 9 years of business records to be destroyed on 4 pallets. The price quoted was fair and much lower than other quotes I had gotten. On shred day, Greg Hartley & Joe Ban were super friendly and explained what to expect. They worked together efficiently and professionally. Every step of the way was stress-free. I would highly recommend them for document destruction. read more

Reliable service and affordable. They can bring the shredding service to your door and you can watch your documents be shred on-site. Anthony Putnam was a pleasure to work with. Had a contract for public event this weekend in Sun City. Trucks didn't show at 8 am start time. Took nearly an hour for someone with company to get back to organizers on the ground. Said best they could do would be to get one truck there around 10 am and that they "didn't have the event on the calendar", despite an executed contract. Mistakes happen, but be better. read more

Spencer was fantastic! Quick, efficient and friendly. 5 stars for Spencer. The process was super easy

Assured Document Destruction came through for my company big time! Terri was amazing and so responsive all via email which made it so much easier for me. They saved me from having to box up all the documents and removed everything from the 12 lateral file cabinet drawers that had to go for us. And in record time - it took them all of 30 minutes. The price was AMAZING! My boss was so happy! Happy Boss = Happy Assistant (me)! read more

We moved our office a week ago. After being in the building since 2007, there was a lot of work to do to make it happen. Not to mention we still had to run the business and it was well over 100 degrees everyday. I called your company out twice to shred for us, both times your employee was so rude. The only reason I called a 2nd time was because I didn't have time to call other companies and also I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was just having a bad day. We all do, but nope he was just as rude the 2nd time. Even my owner made a comment and he is the nicest guy! Should work on your customer service. read more

Assured Document Destruction came to my home and destroyed (completely shredded) some old computer hard drives using a shredder inside their truck. They also took a box of old floppy discs back to their facility, used a different shredder and notified me when the job was complete. The office staff was professional, polite and respectful. The technician who did the shredding was extremely knowledgeable and arrived at my home as scheduled. The cost was quite reasonable. I will use their service again in the future and highly recommend them. read more

I was in a bind, my husband recently passed away and I needed to clean out the house. My dear husband liked to keep a lot of papers and such, so over the years, it built up. After one shredding company changed their tune on their availability, I reached out to Assured and Terri came through for me, and I was under a time crunch! Driver showed up on time, super friendly and very efficient. The price for the mobile service was so very reasonable, but most important to me is the level of high quality service provided. I would certainly contact Assured again should the need arise. Great work and great people! read more

Not an honest company!!! The shredding operation was as advertised used them for 10 years. Had to make several phone calls to pick up the storage bin when the office was closing. They end up picking it up a week after they had confirmed they would. Then the final bill arrives and they want to charge for early termination of contract. I asked them for a signed copy of said contract, which they could never provide. I refused to pay that fee and they sent the account to collection. Lovely!! read more

I'm not sure how I heard about Assured Document Destruction, but we've used them now for about 3-4 years. They are probably the best, most efficient, organized, conscientious company we work with. It's a very small thing & we only have them out once a year (we're a small company), but they call ahead, set up times, do what they need to do with cheerfulness and efficiency. And they destroy your documents right on site - while you watch. Couldn't ask for anything more in a business. Thanks! read more
