Upon entering as first-timers, the wooden bar commands attention, where my partner, his family, and I were greeted by the staff. The bar top is made from a slab of wood salvaged from a single fallen oak tree on the Rockefeller Preserve. We got a cozy table at the front window inside a bright, airy interior with earthy accent colors. Their menu features rustic New American cuisine with many vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options that change with the seasons. We decided on the Veggie Buffalo "Wings" with a side of fries, the Grass-Fed Cheeseburger, the Mushroom "Cheesesteak," and Maine Mussels. Complimentary vegan banana bread started our meal. In my opinion, Stagioni is definitely the best pizza and Italian food in the area. After tasting their delicious and crunchy brick oven pizza, I had to take my friends there and try the food. Sure enough their food was just as good and tasted fresh and authentic. During the week it's a caual place to get a quick bite and on the weekends they dress up the tables in there beautifully decorated modern dining room with table cloths and napkins. You feel like your in a trendy eatery in NYC. You can tell that the ingredients are of high quality and always fresh. I was so sick of the same ole same ole from ALL the local pizzarias. The pies here are a cut WAY above the standard local fare. Great thin crust, just the right balance of sauce, cheese, toppings. Nice guys, too. It is by far the best pie in the Ardsley area. read more
