Just saw that this restaurant was recently opened. I ordered a large pizza with mushroom topping. I was greeted promptly and my order was just as requested. Pizza was thin and well done (as I requested). They get added points in my book for using fresh mushrooms- something that other local pizza restaurants do not do. This place really get's 3.5 stars. This review pertains to pizza. I dont know about their "italian" dishes but let's be real, it's not hard to make baked ziti, manicotti, and other "italian" fare. The pizza is pretty good. It's a nice thin crust. The sauce is mild. They're using a good cheese but they're only using part skim, whereas a lot of people who know what they're doing mix part skim and whole. Accordingly, the cheese here is not too oily, but also doesn't have great mouth feel. They would definitely benefit from mixing some whole milk mozz into their mix. Also the house slices for by the slice take out are consistent with those from a 16" diameter pizza. It's customary to push at least an 18" pizza and maybe even a 20" for house slices. The pizza is also not obviously "gourmet". They're using good ingredients but not great ingredients; it's not like everything is coming with fresh buffalo mozz or anything like that. read more

Stagioni's is a good place if your looking for a quick, fresh and tasty slice of pizza on the go. I usually go there when I am in a hurry and don't want to sacrifice the quality of the food I am eating. The decor is very modern and the service is good. I have never tried the Italian dishes, but they looked fresh and good. Since there is not a lot of great brick oven pizza places in the river towns - this place is your best option for a quick slice that you won't regret. read more

We arrived an hour before closing time but the place was empty. Staff was already cleaning up but waved us in (I guess because they didn't want to get in trouble for closing early?) . I wish we had said "thanks but no thanks". Service was unprofessional: they stood around the pizza area playing on their phones. The silverware and napkins were lightweight and cheap. The food was not particularly good: restaurant prices for what is actually a pizzeria that is willing to make you some food that has ambitions to be restaurant quality. Please note: I can think of at least three pizzerias in the area that do provide a pizzeria AND restaurant quality food; this is not one of them. I specifically ordered the special of the day assuming it would be good choice. The special soup was pasta fagioli: it was a thin wan tomato broth with undercooked white beans (approximately2TBS worth) and about 1/8 cup of ditalini. As you know, pasta fagioli should be a filling soup chock full of pasta, beans and vegetables. The special salad was arugula with cheese and fruit: it had clearly been sitting in the chiller pre-composed for hours. Finally, they miscalculated our bill (undercharged us) and we decided to point it out because the staff were basically kids: didn't want them to get in trouble. They didn't even thank us for pointing that out (and this was to their benefit!). Based on other reviews, I suppose this was an "off night" but I will never go back. read more

Really good food. Decently priced. Creative variety of foods available. Stagioni means "seasons" in Italian and the business model is that each season presents a new menu with unique and changing food options. This is nice and the menu never gets boring, however, the drawback is that if you fall in love with a menu item, its gone in a few months. The classics are always available and the pizza is great. Dine-in or take-out you can't miss here. Just be warned that the physical space in the restaurant is quite small. I've never eaten in and usually just stick to take away. The staff is always friendly and polite and I would recommend Stagioni 100%. read more

The atmosphere at Stagioni's is very pleasant and uplifting. The service truly is service with a smile. The workers are always doing their best to make the customers as satisfied as possible. They have been open since mid January of 2011 and it still looks as clean and organized as it did the first day I walked in. At Stagioni's I have tried everything from their thinly crusted fresh-topped pizza (such as the Alla Vodka pie and the Pesto e Pollo with fresh grilled chicken) to their meaty panini's with assorted cheeses (such as the Polpetta panini with fresh mozzarella) to their astounding pasta dishes like their Gnocchi Quattro Formaggio and the Brick Oven Lasagne. Their plain pizza by the slice was truly disappointing. It was so bland and thin that it resembled toast, the cheese wasn't plentiful and it didn't have ANY flavor. You should know that I'm dieting for a bikini show and this was my long awaited cheat meal and I'm so hungry at this point I'll eat anything. However, their house salad was fresh and delicious, which redeems them and explains why I gave two stars. I'd go back for a salad in a heartbeat, pizza, not so much. read more

This has become our weekly Friday night and weekend favorite. It's a hip variation on the cozy old neighborhood Italian restaurant in the guise of a local pizza place. The decor is minimalist and even the little kids who dine here know how to behave. We started with the pizza and have moved on to their excellent "real" food.
