I decided to stop here for lunch. I loved the inside it felt very cozy inside of the restaurant. They have a large selection of different pizza's, rolls and a couple of other items. I decided to go with the Egglplant roll which was very delicious. The prices and the service was also very amazing too. I would highly recommend coming here and checking them out. You won't regret it.

Stopped in for dinner. It was extremely busy and loud to be expected on a Saturday night. The restaurant is small and cozy but you can tell locals come here and I see why. The food was good. My favorite part was the red sauce. It was so flavorful. My caprese was nicely dressed and well seasoned. Only negative is parts of my veal was a little dry. Other than that overall good experience.

I went on a quiet Wednesday late afternoon. The place is clean, quiet, and cozy. Staff was friendly and attentive. My friend and I had the calamari which was tender and not oily. The bread and salad was great. The bread was more of a miniature cheese pizza with bruschetta. My dish was the ravioli Bolognese. It was one of the best meat sauce I ever had. It was more creamy than tomato-y. The chicken francese was excellent. Tender with a lemon-y buttery sauce. Two thumbs up!

I was in the area, so I decided to stop in and try something new. I got a minestrone soup to go and a buffalo chicken roll and a chicken Parm roll . The soup was homemade and really good with lots of veggies. The rolls are huge and equally delicious. I especially loved the buffalo chicken roll, which is quite unusual and hard to find around here. It came with a nice big tub of blue cheese dressing on the side which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. Everyone here is really nice and polite. Very welcoming. We loved the food and can't wait to sit down and have a meal here in person.

Really great Pizza!! Even though we are not super local this has become our go to pizzeria. Stopped by tonight for a small plain pie. When we got home we opened the box and.... Instead of a small pizza there was a slice of chicken bacon ranch?? A chicken Stromboli and some garlic knots... hmmmm?? Then the phone rang and it was someone from the restaurant letting us know they realized the mixup. They then offered to bring us the pie we ordered and let us keep the items we received in error. The replacement pie arrived super quick, hot and fresh! Love this place!!!!

This is a reliable spot for a great dinner or lunch. I order out pies often and it's always fresh and delicious. I love the Margherita pizza. The service is very attentive and it's nice to see familiar faces every time I go. I had the orecchiette with scallops and shrimp and it was really tasty. The portions are large enough to share too, a bit smaller than family-style. Will definitely dine-in again soon.

Whether you're looking for a low-key bowl of pasta, Salads or Pizza- the menu here, has you covered. Cucina's a cool strip mall standout going beyond the black and white typical checkerboard floor tiles. It's actually your neighborhood Italian joint- stepped up. Wood plank partition on the dining area side with their ordering counter as you head in. Service was very pleasant- plus vibe is super upbeat and relaxed when I went for my 1ish Lunch. I can't judge and give you a baseline on what the pizza scene is like here. But will mention- my Spinach Salad was scrumptious- with Goat Cheese, Cranberries, paper-thin onions, etc and topped with 6 kickass Grilled shrimp- for an additional $7.

But since we wrapped up with errands in the area, Scaramella's was it. Located in a mini strip mall in Dobbs Ferry, Scaramella's is very old-school- but with a splash of class and then some. Once you pass the foyer, their bar area greets you followed by their large dining room. At about 5pm on a Saturday, you can be seated with no issues. Any time after that, folks start piling up. Our server Anne Marie was no bull-shitter; got to the chase when she gave me a hush-hush tip on a Pear Salad I was eyeing. She's my girl alright. Our appetizers, were plentiful and tasty. Forget our main plates- because if you think you'll be getting a polite portion of pasta or any meal at that- think again. I honestly don't know if hub's spinach pasta was homemade- but that sucker was good. My $40 Swordfish+fresh carrots with an unexpected corn+ spinach medley, was tasty and abundant. Actually, I had leftovers. Can I also mention that these folks don't play around with their pours because my Lemon Drop was potent! Listen, I don't care that Scaramella's is located in strip mall or that my auntie-in-law didn't enjoy her meal years ago. From the looks of it, this place is happy-loud and has character. And no, it's not totally easy to park outside. That aside, our meals were satisfying, well-priced and the happy chaos, is all part of Scaramella's local charm.

The atmosphere was cozy, casual, and somewhat romantic. Service was quick and staff were friendly. But, I don't think staff were as knowledgeable about the menu. I asked for some recommendations and favorites re: the pasta dishes and they pretty much said everything was good. That's fine. Was just hoping for some sort of follow up (4 out of 5). Overall, had mixed feelings about the food: The smoked ricotta honey with grilled bread was okay. The grilled bread came with black char, which didn't work for me. Ricotta and honey are subtle flavors and the char quickly overpowered them. The bread was good, but I think it would've been better toasted, not charred/burnt. That way the nutty flavors from a toasted bread can complement the honey/ricotta better. For the price tag (18) on a simple starter, it was disappointing. (2 out of 5 stars) Crispy cauliflower. I will say the name of this dish was intriguing. Was it lightly battered and fried? When the dish came out, I was disappointed. There's no crisp. It had the texture of roasted cauliflower. The aioli had good flavor, but overall, this was something I've tried before for less than 16 dollars. Can't call something crispy when it's not. (2.5 out of 5 stars) Pastas made the night better. Tried the fettuccini nero (seafood) and one of the pasta celebration dishes, pappardelle with asparagus, lemon, Parmesan. Fettuccini nero was squid ink pasta with seafood. Had good, deep flavor. A bit too salty after the first few bites--the saltiness kind of lingered in your mouth. Wish there was a more seafood. Clams didn't come in their shells. Expected more visible lumps of crab meat and calamari. Other than the shrimp, the seafood bits were much smaller and reminded me of frozen mixed seafood packaging. (3 out of 5) I thought the pappardelle was very good. Good, balanced flavor. Not too salty. Good acid. Good crisp and change in texture from the breadcrumbs that came with the dish. It lacked the depth of flavor that the fettuccini nero had. I was told this was a white sauce dish, which made me think it was going to be more of a creamy dish, but it wasn't. Definitely more of a butter/oil based dish. Some creaminess from the Parmesan I guess. Anyways, I had a delicious first few bites. (4 out of 5)
