I have been coming here with my family since they opened over 5 years ago, it's our go-to spot for pizza Friday's and we always have a good experience. Seasonal menu with specialty pies, good paninis and really good pasta dishes as well. Brian the owner and the rest of the staff treat you like family, very nice people, accommodating and always a pleasure to interact with them. It's a modern place with roughly 10 tables and 3 high tops. They definitely have some pasta dishes that are unique, flavorful and great combinations. The homemade Gnocchi Liguria with fresh ricotta, hint of pesto, eggplant and basil was divine. The mixture of the potato gnocchi and creaminess from the ricotta melted in my mouth. The eggplant was similar to caponata minus the vinegar. I love their vodka bolognese pie, the ratio of cheese to sauce to meat is perfected. The pizza holds perfectly, there is no flop. The great thing about Stagioni is that even if there's an item that's not on the current menu but was in the past, they will always make it for you. Easily the best pizzeria within the river town area. This isn't your ordinary NY pizzeria where you find the typical toppings such as onions, sausage, pepperoni, eggplant, peppers, mushrooms. No no at stagioni, you will find cheeses like Bufala mozz, burrata, goat cheese, and toppings like Prosciutto, figs, meatballs, sopressata..the list just goes on. Some of the pizzas and pastas are calabrese inspired with a little heat which I love. Authentic pizza with fresh ingredients is tough to find in the area, but stagioni has you covered. Here's the problem - I feel ripped off. Been here a number of times and the service has been excellent. The food very good. Went yesterday evening and when the check came I got the shock of my life. The charges were nothing like the price on the menu we received prior to ordering. For instance my wife's steak was on the menu as $34. The charge was $46. I questioned this and was told the prices increased. Fine, but why didn't we receive an updated menu? Or a printout of the new prices? No answer. The steak was good, my chicken scarpariello was good as well. The person we were with had eggplant parmigiana but that was just all right. I still feel taken advantage of but there was no check adjustment. Therefore we will not be going back. We usually eat out a couple of times a week but there are many restaurants that are just as good and who don't hand out a check that is 50% higher than the misleading menu prices. I wonder if charging more than the menu price is even legal. read more

Updating my review as my previous brief review was not adequate. I'm a pizza snob. Stagioni is just some of the best pizza around In its category. I've been to the most well regarded joints in the city and I often crave the simple thin slices found here. The Davinci pizza is also excellent. Amazing experience with the people here. My wife and I had never ordered from Stagioni and decided to get some pizza delivered. We called Stagioni, and ordered a Gluten Free (my wife has celiac) pie with olives and onions, and a medium pie with onions, mushrooms, sausage and pepperoni. We waited a short time for our pizzas, which were delivered very hot and by a very nice young man. However, my pizza had red and green peppers instead of pepperoni. I was heartbroken, because although I love peppers they give me heartburn. I realized there may have been a mistaken pepperoni to peppers issue and took responsibility for not clearly stating my pepperoni desires. My wife calmly recommended I call Stagioni's to let them know. Being suspect of the outcome (I had a similar thing happen with another local pizza joint who admonished me for MY mistake when our pizza showed up soaking wet in a soggy box on a rainy night) I was hesitant to call. So, always listening to the smarter person in the room, my wife, I called Stagioni to let them know what happened. The person who took the call listened to my situation, and when I mentioned our address immediately said: Mushrooms Sausage Onions and Pepperoni Explaining to him the pie arrived with peppers and not pepperoni, without hesitation he said a new pie was being cooked and will be delivered shortly. Within 20 minutes, a correct new very hot pie arrived, delivered by the same young man. We only had a $20 bill which I asked to be changed to 2 $10's a $5 to tip the delivery guy. He refused the tip, and graciously apologized for the mistake. I was stunned at the experience. Well done Stagioni's. You have an ardent supporter of your restaurant, and eater of your pizza! We were super bummed out when our regular pizza spot closed due to pandemic, we tried a couple of other spots that delivered but nothing really was as good. We live down the st. from this place but never tried it so, we decided to give them a shot. We were so pleased to discover how great it is ! They didn't have a couple slices we ordered so they made us a small pizza of the flavors . Pizza was perfect I guess we found our new favorite! After passing this fine establishment a million times this past year I finally went in this weekend. First thing you notice is how clean it is. Like spotlesss! Then the friendliness and the owner (who's kinda a dead ringer for Steve Buscemi) becomes apparent. I've never been waited on with the attentiveness this staff showed in any restaurant in the past 10 years in Westchester. We went simple, ordering a large regular pie and some fried calamari and fries. The calamari was a little on the tough side I probably won't order that again. The fries were ok. However the pizza was the main event. It's thin crust style with a flavorful dough and flavorful sauce. There may be a hint of some sort of ground pepper in that sauce, so sensitive types beware of that. It won't beat Johnnys in Mount Vernon but it'll tie Frank Pepe's. I will keep coming because of the way I was treated. There are so many more items I want to explore. I want to try their chicken calzones next, and a few of their entrees. read more

This is my go to place for anything Italian. Food is fresh and flavorful. Weekends they lay white table cloths down which makes me want another glass of wine. The servers all treat u like fam and if u need a party catered even last minute they make it happen! But at the end of the day if the food wasn't so good the food service would not pull me in. But the food is great. The service is wonderful and it's just heartwarming to see Luigi in the frount flipping pizzas. My father's dish had piece of METAL. The waiter was entirely nonplussed when we told him. He brought the check with the metal meal still on it- we had to actually ask to remove it. I couldn't tell you if the manager was even notified, because they never came over. You'd think if your kitchen served metal, you'd have some urgency. Great spot. Went there the other night to dine in. Hit the spot on every level. Food was great, service was top notch and the atmosphere was cozy. The homemade bread was delicious. We also got the fried zucchini which was on point. Clams oreganata were great. In addition, the linguine with seafood in a white wine sauce was fantastic. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Stagioni has really really good pizza. It gets five stars because of the dearth of good pizza places in town. So many places in town offer a bland product. Stagioni mixes it up with some really interesting specialty pies. I can confirm that the dinners are very good, as well as the salads. If I'm in the mood for a nice salad with shaved parmigiana, walnuts, apples and shrimp, I'll come here. The dinner portions are very large. Not change your life dining experience, but this place is pumping out a really good, quality product. I'd much rather spend my cash here than a lot of the other joints in Dobbs/Ardsley. Also, arguably the biggest plus for some, this place is immaculate! Very clean. I'd much rather eat here/pick up dinner from this clean place than some of the other dirty place in town. Wake up Dobbs Ferry/Ardsley - the pizza in your town is terrible! Stagioni finally offers a good alternative to the other bland/dirty places in town. This place is great. I like their grandma pizza when it is cooked with crispy crust. I find your have to ask specially for a crispy crust because how it is cooked can vary. Their prices are more expensive than other local pizzerias. I like that they offer their sandwiches as hero's or paninis. The restaurant is also nice and renovated. read more

For a local establishment, this is not a great representation of the town. Their portions are meek and the owners don't seem to care. The prices are on the higher side for food that can be purchased at three other pizza places within a 2 mile radius. I just purchased a salad which cost me $15 it is a plastic bowl of spinach for shrimp and some watermelon. that is out of control. In a day and age when you should be catering to every customer that walked in your door, apathy, it's never a good approach to servicing a customer I would sooner take my business to slyce where where the prices are similar but the food is far better.
