Haven't been here in decades, and it was a pleasant surprise! Food was quite good, as was the table bread! We had various (huge) Calzones and Fettuccine Alfredo, and ended with Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake and coffee! The service was excellent, thank you Oscar & Fabian! All needs met, very attentive and very accommodating! My additional "to go" order was incorrect, but they were very pleasant in correcting it, but the trip back was a bit inconveniencing. Wish they gave the place a little facelift, could definitely use a little updating. (The bathrooms were immaculate clean- a bonus, and tell tale sign of their pride.) Will be back to try more dishes!

We came here to treat our child's friends for a birthday get together after watching a movie. The staff seated us immediately and we were treated well. We ordered two pies of pizza which came out relatively quickly. The pizza was good (a bit on the salty side) but good nonetheless. The restaurant itself seemed to be a "classic/dated" restaurant from the 80s or 90s. Very clean, but not very well lit unless you are sitting by the window.

8/31/22. A life long friend and I were in Yonkers and decided to visit Pizza Beat; for us it was nostalgic. For decades we went there with our girlfriend's who became our wives. The kids we brought along are now in their late 30's and older. For the most part it's still the same building. There have been renovations that are improvements. It's all new staff and they're doing a good job.

Food is ok. I wasn't really wowed with it even though my friends were talking about this place for awhile. My baked clams had no flavor. The Caesar salad was very soggy with dressing. The garlic bread with cheese was alright.

Been coming here for more than a decade, the food and service have never failed. Wifey had shrimp and broccoli over linguini, she didnt order her usual shrimp oreganata.., according to her as expected the pasta was great. I had the grilled rib eye steak with roasted potatoes and mixed veggies., it was ok., it wasnt dry however i asked for medium but they made it well done, it was a little chewy, definitely not the best steak. My son had their signature sausage pizza, as expected it was very good., my daughter had her penne with butter sauce and chix fingers, and she liked it very much. Fried. Calamari as usual is crispy and tasty. But the highlight of the night was the chocolate souffle, it is a must to have after your meal. Everytime we eat here we feel like we are at home having home cook meal. The wait staff were very attentive a d definitely coming back this month.

Ordered a lasagna to go, what I got was a chicken cutlet. This was extremely annoying because I drove over an hour to get home.

Every appetizer, pasta or chicken dish I've ever had here has been really excellent. There are classic dishes, and others you might not have had before. Portions are quite large. It's always interesting to return to a place with history, and thankfully, the current experience holds up. The restaurant was moderately busy, but everything flowed smoothly. No waits, and the staff struck a great balance, attentive when needed, but giving us space to settle in and enjoy the company. Parking is easy with a free lot in the back, plus additional street options. The space is open with warm wood accents that give it a comfortable, inviting feel. We sat in the main dining room and started with the Hot Antipasto Deluxe, a generous spread perfect for the table. It didn't stop there, as they also brought out salad for everyone before the mains, a classic, welcoming touch. I ordered the pappardelle with chicken in a vodka sauce with a dollop of ricotta, rich and satisfying. Others enjoyed dishes like Chicken Piccata and Chicken Parmigiana. Portions were more than enough, and by dessert, shared chocolate lava cake and tartufo, we were completely full. A relaxed, accommodating spot that works especially well for groups. Definitely a place to linger and enjoy.

You could tell right away this was more of a local favorite than a touristy spot, which we really appreciated. They service was so attentive and appreciative of the customer experience My husband ordered the chicken piccata and said it was amazing. My son had the chicken Parmesan, and the portions were huge. I ordered a linguini pasta dish that was also delicious. We finished with cheesecake for dessert, and it was incredible. One of the things we loved most was the family-owned feel and seeing so many locals and Italian families dining there -- always a good sign that the food is authentic and well-loved. We honestly almost made a second visit during our trip, but family plans got too hectic. Would definitely come back again. Love finding places like this.

I loved the fried zucchini sticks because they were so lightly battered and delicious. The crab dip was delicious too but the fried bread chips were a bit hard yet okay. The white chocolate bread pudding was warm and delicious. My husband and son had the chicken parm and said it was average, nothing to write home about. My husband ordered the clams casino and they were very tiny. The mozzarella and carrozza was okay. The salad was small but fresh. However, my Italian dressing tasted watered down so I didn't use it.

There were a couple of steps up to the front entrance, so it's just a tiny bit tricky if you have a stroller or mobility issues. We came for dinner on a Friday night. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and you can specify your preference when booking. To start, we shared the mozzarella e pomodoro. The burrata was nice and creamy, but the portion size was on the smaller side. I loved the insalada di pere. The pears and gorgonzola paired well together and the champagne vinaigrette gave it a pleasant sweetness. My family also enjoyed the calamaretti fritti.
