I love this place. I try to go every weekend for a slice. They also have great little chicken cutlet sandwiches with fresh mozzarella and balsamic on garlic knot looking bread. From their salads & grinders to pizza and dinners everything is hand crafted into perfection! Franks and his workers are friendly and quick. This is definitely a neighborhood stable in the community. It's mostly to-go orders although they have 4 tables and I normally eat here. It's at like one big family between the staff and the patrons. It's clean and they normally have sports on the TV. I was looking for pizza in Yonkers and Yelp led me to this place. Plain slices are $2.75 and a large, oversized pie is a well-priced $16. This "pizza joint" looks "no frills" and unassuming but the pizza is actually quite good. Slices are huge with a thick, pillowy doughy crust, slightly sweet sauce and a mound of mozzarella cheese. Fresh, flavorful and filling! One slice is the volume of two slices at many other pizzerias. The pizza guy was fast and friendly. I give it 4.25 stars, rounding up here. Street parking available. Not one to complain tbh but all i asked for was a margherita and this is what i got. They charged me 20$, the pricing was not even in the menu. I tried to explain to the pizza guy that a margherita should come with fresh basil and fresh mozzarella. He told me that he doesn't have basil but instead a garlic seasoning that made the whole pizza stink, but he insisted the mozza was fresh at the point that he showed me the container and it was a block of mozza sliced, basically not fresh.. i wouldn't mind paying 20$ for a good medium margherita but it's a shame charging ppl this much for a so called one.. it's sad read more

I came here for the 3nd time in 2 weeks from Izzy, NJ. My girlfriend is in town, so I figured I'd go all out and order a bit of everything. I am also obsessed with their cheese calzones, I grew up in the Bronx and Yonkers and these are the best I ever had. This past weekend I had a 21st birthday party for my son and I ordered some food to cater the party. I got a full tray of Baked Ziti, a full tray of Chicken Marsala and a half tray of Spaghetti with Garlic, Olive Oil and Broccoli. My guests and I were blown away at how delicious everything was! The price was VERY reasonable, the food super tasty and the portions huge. I thought I would have leftovers, but after everyone had seconds and thirds there was nothing leftover. A great little pizza joint focused on take-out. The crust is crispy but not cracker-thin. The pizzas are quite substantial. The small is not small, and a large could easily satisfy three adults. Toppings are generally high quality and always abundant. Do not ask for extra cheese unless you really, really like cheese. They also serve calzones, pasta and sandwiches. I was happy with the calzones both times I ordered them. The recently revamped dining area is nothing fancy, but it is clean and well-lit, with windows and TVs (tuned to the same show, thankfully). A photo on the wall shows what happened to provoke the remodel... Parking can be awkward, but this is Yonkers -- people invent their own spaces and park in front of hydrants with impunity. But only once in dozens of visits have I not been able to find parking within a minute. NOTE: Google Maps shows the wrong location for this address (as it does for many addresses in Yonkers). Roma II is at the corner of Lockwood and Jessamine. The neighborhood is...well, it's my neighborhood. I am sure it looks a bit sketchy at first sight, but it's pretty unobjectionable. On this block the people at Roma operate a laundromat (!) and there is a great liquor store a few doors down. One of the guys who works behind the counter says that this Roma is related to a place in the Bronx, not to the Roma pizza place on Tuckahoe Rd. read more
