Place is a little hole in the wall. I ordered a cheese slice (yes just plain cheese is my all time fave)& a Pepsi. I can tell the sauce was homemade! I'm more of a sauce person.I feel like the sauce makes the pizza instead of anything else. It was very tasty! The crust was kind of thin crust but not quite. It was just the right crisp. The portion was above regular size but not giant. The person who helped me was friendly & his paisanos!

    Great

Best pizza in Mount Vernon Area. Always fresh ingredients. I would definitely recommend this place. John knows Pizza. I've had pizza in Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx.

Figured I'd give this place a try and I'm glad I did! Pizza was delicious! I ordered a pepperoni Sicilian you should expect an hr wait because the dough is made fresh but don't let that stop you, it's worth the wait not to mention there affordable prices. Whenever I have a pizza need John and Tony's pizza is the place I'll be going .

    Best Pizza in the world!

Rude people. Cheap ingredients. Why go here when Joe's Fleetwood is around the corner? This pizza is tasteless.

Walking in, we ordered slices to-go including: Buffalo Chicken, Red Pepper Mozzarella (thick crust), Broccoli & Ricotta I also ordered a cannoli to go-and when he asked if I wanted it in the bag or to eat as I walked (because the pregnancy belly) I honestly couldn't decide because it looked so good. Joking around with me about desserts first, he threw in a free tiramisu to add to the dessert joy. With such nice service I really wanted to like the place & had high hopes for eating our pizza. The slices were huge, and had the classic NY thin crust. Overall, they were unfortunately underwhelming. The buffalo barely had a buffalo taste to it-instead tasting mostly like merely breaded chicken & cheese. The red pepper mozzarella needed a lot more cheese because the thick crust overtook the quality of the pie, and the broccoli & ricotta was well under-seasoned. We found ourselves exploring our spice cabinet at home to self-spruce up the slices. The cannoli & tiramisu had a 'twang' to them, for lack of a better word- I can't pinpoint it, but while the cannoli had a really great shell (half coated in chocolate, flaky, crispy yumness) the sweet cream had an almost cherry or amaretto-esque flavor that wasn't your traditional cannoli cream- so it didn't hit the spot. Would try other spots in the area next time.
