Broccoli and Ricotta slice for breakfast--reheated and the crust is still crisp, flaky, and buttery flavored.
Edward S.

There should be a rule that any of these Yelp "Elite" morons be forced to stay out of local eateries. Talk about useless reviews that actually end up damaging quality storefronts. How do you measure an elite anyway? Did someone confirm that they have superior taste buds or a privileged olfactory sense? These little food snobs destroy small businesses with their elitist palates and need to remain in their trendy pompous neighborhoods. Welcome to the Bronx where you can still get a full meal for 5 bucks. And that's what a huge slice costs at this quaint pizza joint. Look at the picture I posted below and see how difficult it is to fold to eat LOL. I found this place by accident on a long walk one day (I love to explore new neighborhoods on my weekly five mile walks through the boros), and now I go back on a regular basis. I even love to take cold slices home and reheat them the next day and they taste just great. Someone actually implied that they're sacrificing flavor with inferior ingredients. Not my experience. I measure food not only by the way it tastes but by the way it sits in my stomach, and I have a very sensitive stomach. And this food sits wonderfully :-). What I find fascinating really is their crust--I'm a Chicago/New York boy and I measure my pizza against both standards. A New York pizza has to be thin and crispy whereas a Chicago pizza has to be flaky and have almost a buttery texture from the olive oil. Somehow these guys have achieved both. Fantastic crust. And if you really want to test out of pizza crust then you have to reheat it on a second (or as I will do for breakfast today, a third day) and see if it holds up. And this one does. There was also a crack by some elitist about the portions. That's the one thing this place definitely does well. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and I couldn't believe the sheer volume of food they gave me. And finally, regarding the attitude of people that work here. Regardless of what language they speak, I've seen them to be courteous to everybody, of every ethnicity, every time. And if you're not from the Bronx, and you don't have a little thicker skin like the rest of us, then go back to your pansy ass little Manhattan enclave where everybody pretends to be courteous and kind - because these people are definitely both. Don't come all the way up here to the Bronx just to have an exquisite piece of pizza, we don't need your blessing--but if you happen to be in the neighborhood it's a really good meal. Close your elitist mouths and just chew.

Shrimp Parmigiana

I just started to somewhat transition into a pescatarian diet and but I was tired of the usual fish and shrimp. I was craving shrimp Parm for the whole week so decided to get it from here. I'm happy i did! It was so flavorful and filling. I cannot wait to go back for more! I called ahead of time so that I didn't have to wait. I also knew that parking in that area is difficult so I just wanted to run in and out. I recommend this place! I've also had their salad which were good! They never disappoint me!

This is on of my favorite places to order on Seamless! They have great boneless chicken and fries that I usually always order. Today I decided to order something extra and chose the garlic knots. The garlic knots were alright but the buffalo chicken bites were amazing as usually. I can never eat the whole meal in one sitting but that's good for me because left overs are yummy! -quick delivery -delivery drivers are friendly.

Amazing meat and cheese calzones!
DragonBall Z.

The ingredients used by the owner and staff here are superior to other pizza shops in the borough. The prices are equal to what other pizza shops are charging, except at Katonah Pizza you are getting much better quality. The meat and cheese calzone is one of my favorite items, the flavor of the meat is beautiful; well seasoned beef, the cheese is delicious, but where this pizza shop really shines is their dough. Made fresh every day, it has a slightly sweet flavor and is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Another superb item to try is the chicken, bacon and ranch pie OMG! Absolutely delicious! The staff is friendly, and the owner himself is super nice. Try them, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

First time in New York...I'm a Cali girl and let me say this is the best pizza I've ever had!!! As I'm on my way home I'm craving this pizza and no other pizza I eat will ever compare.

Disorganized, misleading, and poorly managed…read more Ordered takeout from Michelangelo's Woodfire Grill through Slice at 6:45 PM with a promised pickup time of 7:02 PM. My husband arrived at 7:04 PM. The food was not ready. He was repeatedly told vague timelines ("a little while," then 7:15 PM), none of which were accurate. The manager disappeared into the kitchen, leaving him waiting with no updates. By 7:48 PM, after over 40 minutes, he left without the food. During that wait, other customers were seated, served, finished their meals, paid, and left -- all while two simple sandwiches could not be produced. I spoke directly with the manager twice. Instead of taking responsibility, he argued about the pickup time, minimized the delay, and only offered excuses and after-the-fact store credit. No proactive communication. No apology. No basic follow-through. Delays happen. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Order takeout elsewhere if you value your time.

Classic Italian comfort with a neighborhood feel!!!!!…read more Enzo's of Williamsbridge delivers a satisfying Italian dining experience with generous portions and comforting, familiar flavors. The food was well-prepared and hearty, especially the pasta dishes, which tasted fresh and filling. Some items stood out more than others, but overall quality was solid. The atmosphere has a warm, old-school neighborhood vibe that makes it feel welcoming and relaxed. Service was friendly and attentive, though it slowed slightly during peak hours. Overall, Enzo's of Williamsbridge is a dependable spot for classic Italian food. With a bit more consistency and quicker service at busy times, it could easily reach a five-star level.

I also took home a side order of escarole, sauteed in olive oil and garlic, and grated Parmesan on the side. The Chicken Scarpariello ($37 w/option ) is great and quite filling. The Chicken is coming from the thighs as best I can determine and is chopped up with a few bones that can be handled with a knife and fork. I would definitely order this always on the bone for flavor. You have the boneless option, but go with the bone. The cherry hot peppers add a definitive kick, above Fra Diavolo level, but nothing anyone cannot handle. The sausage was overcooked, but the potatoes were spot on. The red sauce, ziti and Parmesan calmed the moderate heat down if anyone is concerned. The escarole was a good accompaniment, but the spice level overwhelmed the wine with this dish. By the way, I can now confirm this $48 Montepulciano is of the Sangiovese varietal from Montepulciano D.O.C. The Chicken Scarpariello with the added option is also a more fulfilling meal than the Veal Martini and I can understand why it is a leading dish on the menu at Enzo's. I find it to be equally good too, so no downgrade in the rating. It highlights the consistency of the dishes served by the kitchen with steady chefs over the years. Marcello, my server, told no lies. The Double Cut Pork Chop ($33) was a bit more satisfying and delicious. It's thick, about two inches or more thick. They trimmed most of the fat, but left enough for added flavor. Notice the darkened color of the fat trim that has been seared and caramelized. Yum! The thick chop is cooked all the way through, but it's not tough or challenging to cut. It's still juicy and somewhat tender inside, with the added juice and flavor of the sauce. Over the escarole and pasta with garlic and dusted with Parmesan for that pop, your palate is in for a most satisfying experience. The Double Cut Pork Chop is one of those dishes that will keep people coming to Enzo's. It also paired better with the wine, given the heat from the hot cherry peppers was less pronounced and not overwhelming for the relatively low tannin and low acidity wine. I have had Sangiovese that drink a lot bigger and don't even mention the Brunellos. Enzo's of Williamsbridge is not overcharging in my opinion. They could have increased prices more on account of inflation, but they have not. Their loyal patrons would balk of they did. The dishes on the menu generally range from the high twenties to high thirties for generous servings. Wines by the bottle are reasonably priced and I can see why one would take your family here or take someone on a date here with the quality and value proposition served up consistently since 1998. Enzo's is a go to restaurant for many loyal patrons. I would and will return easily and can give Enzo's high marks. Just seat me inside the main dining room next time please. 4.0 very solid and consistent stars!

Everything tasted fresh and well made. The warm bread was soft, fresh, and nicely herby with what tasted like oregano sprinkled on top. Portions were satisfying, flavors were rich without feeling too heavy, and the quality really stood out. We ordered sparkling water and a couple of cocktails. For appetizers we had the Polpettine Di Casa (homemade beef meatballs in pomodoro sauce) and the Portuguese octopus with fava beans, cannellini beans, onions, and apple vinegar dressing. Both were flavorful and well prepared. For entrées we ordered the Pappardelle alla Bolognese with homemade pasta and meat sauce, along with the New Zealand lamb chops over broccoli rabe and mashed potatoes. The pasta tasted fresh and authentic, and the lamb was tender and cooked as requested. Unfortunately, the night ended on a disappointing note because of the service. Mario was pleasant, but another server, I believe named Alex, overheard a conversation and became argumentative and sarcastic toward the birthday woman's son. It felt very unprofessional for the setting and completely changed the mood of the dinner, causing everyone to leave earlier than planned. The 93yr old woman was shaking. People should stay in their lane. Sadly, because of that interaction, I wouldn't return.
