The pizza here is delicious. Try the grandma's and the grandpa's pizza! They are the best that I have ever eaten.

If I could sum Pizza Centre into one sentence it would be "not as good as it looks". I came in after hearing how good their pizza was. They have many options for specialty slices, and they all looked good. I opted for a chicken bacon ranch, and a Chipotle chicken slice. My friend got a Buffalo chicken slice and we shared a bottle of soda. Total? $21!!! 21 dollars for 3 slices and a soda??? Insane!!! Pizza looked good, but was quite bland. Chicken had way too much breading, and make the slice dry (put it this way, we would have needed another bottle of soda, but we couldn't afford one at the price they are charging...) Overall I will not be back. 3 star pizza at best with 1 star pricing. Strong pass for me! read more

Love this place! They are allergy friendly and aware. We asked them to cater my birthday party for approx 50 guests. They made the best veal marsala, eggplant rollatini (off menu), broccoli rabe, penne vodka, chicken francese, meatballs and pizza for kids. They know I have a severe seafood allergy and also accommodated for my family members who are gluten free and even removed parsley for a guest who had that allergy. Well first off this was my first time trying the pizza place and I must say it was delicious . We ordered the grandma pizza with the hot pepperoni's and honey sauce. It had lots of hot pepperonis which were by the way delicious. We also ordered a regular cheese pie which was also yummy. We will be ordering again. Nice crispy crust too. And the Caesar salad was one of the better I've had from a pizza joint! Yes, I will agree with others that it's a tad pricey... A 20 ounce soda is $2 bucks a pop. I go to my local pizzeria for lunch (Pizza Centre on Shore Road, New Rochelle, and a guy is sitting with no mask (not even down on his neck), and not social distancing. He was not eating. Was waiting for his takeout order. I told him, "You are not in a public place. Please, wear a mask." He ignored me. The owners heard me and stayed quiet. Got my pizza, paid, and said to the owner, "Shame on you for not backing up a regular customer as the owner that you are in a pandemic. I will NEVER come back." I went to my car and went on FB to write a review. The owner saw it immediately. He came out yelling at me and insulting me, calling me "piece of sh*t". I did insult him back. Then the owner threatened me. He looked at my license plate and said, "I will find you," to which I replied, "I already found you and know where you are." Wimp!!!! I like that they have a variety of slices that are always available such as chicken bacon ranch, buffalo, margarita, sicilan etc. They also have some pizza rolls also and dishes but Ive only had pizza and rolls. I've tried this pizza several times over the years but to be honest it's just ok, it's not bad but it's not good either. One of my major cons with this place is that it's cash only, most times I have cash but sometimes I just want to be able to swipe my card and I dislike that this isn't an option here, it's a small thing but when the pizza is just average I need other things to keep me coming back besides distance to where I live, in a pinch I'd come here because of the location but I'm not impressed. read more

OK, so wife and I were out for a wedding in New Rochelle tonight and had a bit of a layover till dinner. Really needed something quick and saw Pizza Centre. Carrolynne wasn't to keen at first look, but then saw the 3 gents behind the counter that had "authentic" written all over them. We ordered a slice of Lasagna Pizza and Granma. DANG....good slices. Thin crust, crisp, meat sauce on the Lasagna slice was incredible. The ricotta was not skimped on either...truly outstanding slice. By the time i got back to the car with a cold Stella to share with wifey, she had devoured the Granma slice. Lets just take her word for it that the tomato sauce was on par with what she had in Rome. The overall ambiance was so laid back and authentic, we loved it. I mentioned to wife that i needed to get a take out menu so I could yelp them, and old dude behind the counter (who obviously had no idea what yelp was) had a menu to me so fast my head spun. Great pizza! As a native New Yorker, I'm always searching for the perfect slice. One that reminds me of my childhood when they never skimped on the cheese. This pizza comes pretty close to it. Ordered a plain and every bite had the cheese strings extending out eithout sacrificing the cheese on the slice. You know how it goes with some pizzas....with every bite you're pulling pizza off...Not so with this one... There is no explaining the bad aftertaste from the pizza. It tastes deceptively good while you're eating it, but an hour later, you can't get some awful taste out of your mouth. What is it? I don't know. It's not garlic (I eat that like candy). I've eaten pizza all over NYC for 35 years and can't explain the aftertaste.
