Love this place! They are allergy friendly and aware. We asked them to cater my birthday party for approx 50 guests. They made the best veal marsala, eggplant rollatini (off menu), broccoli rabe, penne vodka, chicken francese, meatballs and pizza for kids. They know I have a severe seafood allergy and also accommodated for my family members who are gluten free and even removed parsley for a guest who had that allergy. The food was amazing and we had no leftovers! We had a two week lead time when we placed the order and the owner and his team are fantastic and always serve delicious food with good old fashioned Italian hospitality. read more

Well first off this was my first time trying the pizza place and I must say it was delicious . We ordered the grandma pizza with the hot pepperoni's and honey sauce. It had lots of hot pepperonis which were by the way delicious. We also ordered a regular cheese pie which was also yummy. We will be ordering again. This was my 2nd time ordering from Pizza Centre & I have to say, it was pretty decent! Ordered a regular pie, a pepperoni pie & also a large Caesar salad. The pizza was done just right. Nice crispy crust too. And the Caesar salad was one of the better I've had from a pizza joint! Yes, I will agree with others that it's a tad pricey... A 20 ounce soda is $2 bucks a pop. I go to my local pizzeria for lunch (Pizza Centre on Shore Road, New Rochelle, and a guy is sitting with no mask (not even down on his neck), and not social distancing. He was not eating. Was waiting for his takeout order. I told him, "You are not in a public place. Please, wear a mask." He ignored me. The owners heard me and stayed quiet. Got my pizza, paid, and said to the owner, "Shame on you for not backing up a regular customer as the owner that you are in a pandemic. I will NEVER come back." I went to my car and went on FB to write a review. The owner saw it immediately. He came out yelling at me and insulting me, calling me "piece of sh*t". I did insult him back. Then the owner threatened me. He looked at my license plate and said, "I will find you," to which I replied, "I already found you and know where you are." Wimp!!!! He saw my dog in the car and got scared! I'm not afraid of you, with or without my dog. You're a disgrace to your community. Horrible experience in a pandemic!!! read more

I first came here in 2016 when I moved to New Rochelle, I love pizza and I'm always on the search for the best slice I can find. I like that they have a variety of slices that are always available such as chicken bacon ranch, buffalo, margarita, sicilan etc. They also have some pizza rolls also and dishes but Ive only had pizza and rolls. I've tried this pizza several times over the years but to be honest it's just ok, it's not bad but it's not good either. One of my major cons with this place is that it's cash only, most times I have cash but sometimes I just want to be able to swipe my card and I dislike that this isn't an option here, it's a small thing but when the pizza is just average I need other things to keep me coming back besides distance to where I live, in a pinch I'd come here because of the location but I'm not impressed. read more

a decent pizza shop in new rochelle on pelham rd thats semi hidden being off the main rd but known by the locals and folks like me driving by. place is old school pizza shop with a few tables in its narrow space. good selection of pizza topping slices , pasta dishes , hot heroes, rolls, etc. after visiting pelham train and hobbies shop near by we stopped to grab a large pie with mushrooms for our peeps back home but them folks can wait as my cuz and i grab a few cheese slices , grab a table and took our sweet time enjoying our better then average size pizza slices . overall pizza is very good as its made the old school way which i always prefer. good pizza shop in pelham thats been around for a long time. read more

Best pizza I have ever had! Their chicken bacon ranch and buffalo chicken pizza are incredible. All the guys inside are so nice and accommodating. The place is clean and they've been strictly following social distancing and Covid protocols since the beginning of the pandemic! I always feel safe and the food is always delicious! OK, so wife and I were out for a wedding in New Rochelle tonight and had a bit of a layover till dinner. Really needed something quick and saw Pizza Centre. Carrolynne wasn't to keen at first look, but then saw the 3 gents behind the counter that had "authentic" written all over them. We ordered a slice of Lasagna Pizza and Granma. DANG....good slices. Thin crust, crisp, meat sauce on the Lasagna slice was incredible. The ricotta was not skimped on either...truly outstanding slice. By the time i got back to the car with a cold Stella to share with wifey, she had devoured the Granma slice. Lets just take her word for it that the tomato sauce was on par with what she had in Rome. The overall ambiance was so laid back and authentic, we loved it. I mentioned to wife that i needed to get a take out menu so I could yelp them, and old dude behind the counter (who obviously had no idea what yelp was) had a menu to me so fast my head spun. If you find yourself killin time in New Rochelle, try a slice. read more

Great pizza! As a native New Yorker, I'm always searching for the perfect slice. One that reminds me of my childhood when they never skimped on the cheese. This pizza comes pretty close to it. Ordered a plain and every bite had the cheese strings extending out eithout sacrificing the cheese on the slice. You know how it goes with some pizzas....with every bite you're pulling pizza off...Not so with this one... Minus two stars b/c their menu board has all the wrong prices and if you dont walk around with a lot of cash (like me who loves her debit card), it can be a pain and they dont take cards! There is no explaining the bad aftertaste from the pizza. It tastes deceptively good while you're eating it, but an hour later, you can't get some awful taste out of your mouth. What is it? I don't know. It's not garlic (I eat that like candy). I've eaten pizza all over NYC for 35 years and can't explain the aftertaste. Yet for some reason, the chicken parmigiana hero is pretty good, with for some reason, no bad aftertaste! read more

The pizza was very good. The menu has a wide variety. It was easily accessible with a large parking lot in a small strip mall. I would recommend the pizza. They had three different crusts and the toppings are endless. There was also pasta, eggplant parmigiana, subs and more. read more

But last we were in the owner appeared to have instructed the wait staff to come and tell me that outside water bottles were not allowed in the restaurant. I mean it was warm, I have a condition I am battling that requires constant hydration and so I always have a 16 or 20oz water bottle in my hand. I eat out probably 500 times a year for the last say 25 years so say more than 10000 eat outs and have never been hassled about drinking water I had in process to stay healthy, so this is kind of an extreme outlier to me. We haven't been back since and likely won't ever go back even though we live in the neighborhood, since it just so destroyed the vibe to be hassled over a 50 cent bottle of water. We generally tip 30 to 40% even on $100 plus bills so it is just in my view a dumb business decision to hassle over something like that and lose what I would guess is $2500 in revenue from this customer a year. For sure the owner can run the business however he wants, but doubt the hassling behavior is increasing revenue for him.
