We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and immediately taken to our table. Service was prompt and attentive. The food was delicious. Everything that was served was done to perfection. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Outstanding.

Our friends who live in the Bronx told us about the Little Italy area in the Bronx. Never heard of it but I am glad we went. The area was very quaint and we got to have dinner here at Antonio's. Our server was very good and prompt. The food was outstanding and the wine was delicious. The bread basket arrived at the table promptly after seating but I noticed that it was room temperature. We asked for it to be warmed up and they did very quickly. My pork chop with onion and peppers was moist and very well made..I asked for no salt added. My husband's chicken dish was very good as well. Overall a great choice for great Italian in the area.

Fordham Alum for 10 years now and Antonio's continue to be a staple! Their pizza is still one of the best I had in NYC and you cannot beat their price for their chef kiss menu. Beats Manhattan anytime. Came with a family of 6 and paid $400 inc tip for 2 large apps, 7 dishes, and 2 sangria pitchers Their current special is the short rib - beef was so. So. Tender I ordered their short

This may be one, if not the best pepperoni pizza I've ever had. I grew up in NYC and Mimi's pizza was my "go to." This rivaled that long lost memory. It's hard to live up to a memory and they did it. The pepperoni was the perfect size, spread out evenly across the pizza. It got cooked to the perfect curl, enough to have a slight crisp, but still a good chew. My frutti di mare was spicy, as requested (it normally has a mild sauce) and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. I had NY cheesecake for dessert, which was spot on. My cocktail was huge and strong. I luckily had a designated driver. The others in my party had chicken parm, pasta, and loved their dishes, too. You can't go wrong here and it deserves to be considered one of the best offerings of Arthur Avenue, the real Little Italy in NYC. Service as friendly, well paced, and accurate. Remember to tip well.

amazing service, offered to split portions tried the white wine clam pasta - seafood-y punch, perfectly seasoned. the linguini had a great bite the chicken parm a la vodka was the star of the show. super thin and juicy! great depth of tomato flavor in the pasta sauce

We came from Long Island to try out the famous Arthur Avenue district and this place got the highest reviews. The service was pretty spot on. Not sure if it was because the night was a quiet one (Friday) but everyone was super attentive. The food was okay. I wouldn't make a trip here but I guess if I was in the area, this is a place I'd go to. Seems like Arthur Ave may have lost its charm- not many Italian restaurants anymore- but this one is holding on.

Well, we gave this place a try by recommendation. Unfortunately, it fell below expectations. We tried the veal saltimbocca and the Linguine Alle Vongole. The veal looked great but the flavor was truly lacking. Marsala-like sauce was watery without the rich flavor. Could be so much better. The clams were plentiful but needed a bit more linguine. The sauce was so watery and tasted like just clam juice with barely any flavor at all. Lacked the wine garlic deliciousness that normally comes with this dish. So, we won't be returning. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was pleasant overall. Just needs major improvement with food preparation. Flavor makes all the difference.

Spent 2 1/2 hours here eating and drinking with the locals mid day. The veal cutlet parmigiana was amazing! The sauce and mozzarella were married to each other. This place has been on my radar for a long time. I just visit NYC once a year. Love the vibe here.

Stopped by for a delicious bowl of spaghetti carbonara . Nice old school type atmosphere. Friendly staff. Parking can be a bit iffy.

Excellent Italian food is found all over NYC. Most times I find myself in Manhattan or Brooklyn enjoying a taste of Italy. It was really nice going to Bronx' Little Italy by Arthur Avenue & finding purely excellent cuisine. Our group of 3 enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The service was excellent, & the ambiance was Italian all the way. Well, actually the piped in music was anything but Italian, but that's ok. I got to enjoy part of 2 dishes. One was artichokes cooked in olive oil, Parmesan, & other goodies. That dish was gold! The other dish was a classic pizza topped with cupped pepperoni. It was excellent. You could taste the dough's freshness as it had a little tang of yeast in its flavor. The sauce, fresh mozzarella, & pepperoni were all a hit. We loved it.

    Lasagna di Casa - amazing!

Between our trips to the Bronx Zoo and the Botanical Gardens, we needed dinner. All the intel we saw said Arthur Avenue was the place to be, so we perused Italian restaurants on Yelp and Antonio's was right at the top. There was a 30 minute wait so we wandered through the streets for a while, looking at all the other restaurants and markets. When we got back, we only had to wait a bit more to get seated. One of the (few) cons of this place is that there really wasn't anywhere to stand while you waited - the entryway was really cramped, so one of my friends was squashed up near the bar, another ended up in front of the men's restroom, and I was trapped between the host stand and the door. Some of the big groups were actually standing in the middle of the front seating area, where we ended up sitting, so when we were seated there were people standing almost on top of us for the beginning of our meal. But you know what? It was worth it because the food and drinks were freakin' awesome. I got the Italian Lemonade with vodka, Aperol, sour mix, and lemonade, and one of my friends got the white sangria. Both drinks were excellent, but she thought the Italian Lemonade was so good (as did I) that she got one for her second drink. For our meals, one friend got the tortellini en brodo, another got the special ravioli with chicken, walnuts, dates, and rosemary, and I got the lasagna. Everyone was simply delighted with their meal. My lasagna was delicious, with delicate sheets of pasta packed with meat and cheese and a great tomato sauce (which I wished there was a little more, but I always want more sauce). My friend's ravioli was also fabulous, with a wonderful combination of flavors and a lovely sauce. My other friend loved her tortellini as well. The bread served to the table was fresh and tasty, and great for dipping in all our dishes. Even though it took a while to get seated, once we did the service was fast and friendly. And the food was just fantastic! I'm so glad we decided to wait. Loved it!

Some of the best Italian food ever! The fresh fettuccine was incredible. And the sauce was decadent and rich. The primavera pizza was also delicious. Crust was super delicious but would definitely go for the pastas here. Service was also so friendly. Would highly highly recommend this restaurant

I also took home a side order of escarole, sauteed in olive oil and garlic, and grated Parmesan on the side. The Chicken Scarpariello ($37 w/option ) is great and quite filling. The Chicken is coming from the thighs as best I can determine and is chopped up with a few bones that can be handled with a knife and fork. I would definitely order this always on the bone for flavor. You have the boneless option, but go with the bone. The cherry hot peppers add a definitive kick, above Fra Diavolo level, but nothing anyone cannot handle. The sausage was overcooked, but the potatoes were spot on. The red sauce, ziti and Parmesan calmed the moderate heat down if anyone is concerned. The escarole was a good accompaniment, but the spice level overwhelmed the wine with this dish. By the way, I can now confirm this $48 Montepulciano is of the Sangiovese varietal from Montepulciano D.O.C. The Chicken Scarpariello with the added option is also a more fulfilling meal than the Veal Martini and I can understand why it is a leading dish on the menu at Enzo's. I find it to be equally good too, so no downgrade in the rating. It highlights the consistency of the dishes served by the kitchen with steady chefs over the years. Marcello, my server, told no lies. The Double Cut Pork Chop ($33) was a bit more satisfying and delicious. It's thick, about two inches or more thick. They trimmed most of the fat, but left enough for added flavor. Notice the darkened color of the fat trim that has been seared and caramelized. Yum! The thick chop is cooked all the way through, but it's not tough or challenging to cut. It's still juicy and somewhat tender inside, with the added juice and flavor of the sauce. Over the escarole and pasta with garlic and dusted with Parmesan for that pop, your palate is in for a most satisfying experience. The Double Cut Pork Chop is one of those dishes that will keep people coming to Enzo's. It also paired better with the wine, given the heat from the hot cherry peppers was less pronounced and not overwhelming for the relatively low tannin and low acidity wine. I have had Sangiovese that drink a lot bigger and don't even mention the Brunellos. Enzo's of Williamsbridge is not overcharging in my opinion. They could have increased prices more on account of inflation, but they have not. Their loyal patrons would balk of they did. The dishes on the menu generally range from the high twenties to high thirties for generous servings. Wines by the bottle are reasonably priced and I can see why one would take your family here or take someone on a date here with the quality and value proposition served up consistently since 1998. Enzo's is a go to restaurant for many loyal patrons. I would and will return easily and can give Enzo's high marks. Just seat me inside the main dining room next time please. 4.0 very solid and consistent stars!

For entrées we ordered the Pappardelle alla Bolognese with homemade pasta and meat sauce, along with the New Zealand lamb chops over broccoli rabe and mashed potatoes. The pasta tasted fresh and authentic, and the lamb was tender and cooked as requested. Unfortunately, the night ended on a disappointing note because of the service. Mario was pleasant, but another server, I believe named Alex, overheard a conversation and became argumentative and sarcastic toward the birthday woman's son. It felt very unprofessional for the setting and completely changed the mood of the dinner, causing everyone to leave earlier than planned. The 93yr old woman was shaking.
