Carrot Cake, Red Velvet Cake, Tiramisu, Strawberry Tres Leches, Macaroon, Cream Puff, Strawberry Cheesecake

Such a wide selection of pastries, cookies, cakes, and more! I got a box of 8 pieces, amounting to roughly $16 total, so about $2/pc. Their Tiramisu was absolutely perfection. Soft, creamy, lusciously whipped mascarpone cream paired with the bitterness of the espresso-dipped ladyfingers. Amazing. The Carrot Cake was a good spiced cake, but I wasn't a fan of the icing. It was a basic white cake icing that was too sweet. The cake would've paired well with a (lime-zest) cream cheese frosting. The Red Velvet Cake also had the same white icing and would've benefited from a cream cheese frosting. I was particularly intrigued by the Strawberry Tres Leches, but it just tasted like a normal cake without much strawberry flavor. The Cream Puff and Strawberry Cheesecake were both okay--not bad, but not out of the ordinary. I did enjoy the Chocolate-Dipped Macaroon which had a good coconut flavor with an almost buttery interior. Overall, I'd recommend trying out this pastry shop. There are so many options, and I'd come back for the tiramisu and to try their other goodies.

Artuso is an Italian bakery staple in the Bronx & rightfully so. I got a couple of goodies from here including their mini cheesecakes, red velvet cake slice, & cannolis. Everything was good but the cannolis stood out to me 110%- that filling was everything. If I return back which I would, I'd definitely get more cannolis.

Plenty of street/meter parking here. Only a few people waiting in line. They have a few workers taking orders so the line usually move pretty fast unless someone in front of you taking a long time to pick their pastries. You can also order online and pick up as an option. They do local delivery as well! I bought a few things including mini cannoli, both chocolate and classic flavors, tiramisu, almond anisette biscotti. They are so so delicious. I never like canonli and I thought I will give it a try again. THIS place changed my mind! Everything is not too sweet, super fresh and yummy. Mini size is just right without feeling guilty. Check out my photos. They are not small. The store also offer regular size and GIANT party size. Staffs are friendly and ONE very important thing that they need to improve is nut allergy precautions. They put the almond pastry right on top of others. If u or families got nut allergies, then they can't eat any.

Ordered 2lb and 3 lb miniature pastry trays for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day . So beautifully selected on tray. I had Seamless app deliver them to beat the long lines. Couldn't be happier! PS : forgot to say how delicious and fresh they were !!!

I came here after it was recommended on the infatuation and wow it did not disappoint. I LOVE tiramisu and their cup of it was YUM! So glad I stopped by!

Bronx location. Terrible rainbow cookie. Cookie was tasteless, dry with barely any jelly! And the chocolate didn't even taste like chocolate. Thumbs down.

Dessert Me! If I want a variety of treats they're coming from Artuso! As I type this I'm thinking about the order I will be placing after hitting post review. From the cannolis, to the dessert cups, to the cake slices.... Everything is fresh and good! Whenever I order it's always delivered in a timely fashion and boxed nicely. That's it... let me place my order!!!

This review is for Artuso's strawberry cake. Birthday 2024 birthday workplace celebration which made my milestone birthday enjoyable to be elated. Strawberry is my favorite which includes strawberry shortcake. This cake has a sugar cookie with words written "Happy birthday Tina" and the filling was delicious. My colleague enjoyed the cake.

Came here a few days before new years after going to the Bronx Botanic Gardens. I had never been to Artuso but picked it based on reviews and it did not disappoint. Food 5/5 - I got the cheesecake at the request of the host for my party. The cheesecake is light and airy, perfect for a post dinner party indulgence. I got an additional pound of cookies including the tricolore, the sprinkle cookies, the almond biscotti, some of the raspberry jelly cookies and two mini cheesecakes. All the cookies were gone by the end of the party and I wished I had gotten more biscotti for dipping in coffee. Service 5/5 - the girl who helped me was super patient as I chose all my cookies and gave me advice on the cheesecakes and tiramisu. I want to come back and get a tiramisu later. Ambiance 5/5 - everything inside was clean and I loved the glow up manger in the front window encapsulating the Christmas spirit. Price - $$ the cookies are an expected price per pound, similar to what I find in my NY hometown. I thought the cheesecake was actually very reasonably priced at about $23. Would definitely come again!

Contains all the staples of an Italian bakery. They fill the cannolis fresh or as requested. Certain pieces are per the slice or by the pound. Grab a nice Italian meal nearby and end up here by the end of the night. Busy street or metered parking.

ARTUSO SPOILS EASTER I ordered a traditional Pizza Rustica for Easter from Artuso online for $29.95, plus shipping = $34.95. I received it and opened the box revealing a very small pie which didn't bother me as ingredients, especially prosciutto are expensive. I cut a slice out of the pie. Where was the prosciutto? Nowhere. Just some tiny meat flakes spread few and far between leaving me with essential a ricotta pie. The final straw was the moisture-challenged texture of the the filling which was bereft of any type of grated cheese. I emailed the folks at Artuso and was basically told told, 'too bad'. They cheerfully declined a refund. Here's a snippet of their communication: "We regret that it didn't meet your expectations. As noted in our store policy, which is available on our website, we are unable to offer refunds for products based on individual tastes, preferences, or dislikes. We recognize that everyone's palate is different, and while many enjoy this seasonal item, we understand it may not be for everyone." The description on the site reads: " Italian meat pie". Should have been labled "Meat flavored" like any other bogus food that's trying to squeak by as the real thing. Wasn't even meat-flavored. I've had pizza rustica from bakeries everywhere. Some had lots of meat, some had little amounts. This is the first time I witnessed one with no meat. Meanwhile, it was Easter Sunday and the local bakeries were all out. I would give Artuso zero stars if I could for misrepresentation of product and perfunctory customer service. NEVER AGAIN!

In a part of Morris Park that's changed, Conti's is a great asset. My constructive criticism on Conti's. I ordered 2 cakes online. Paid in full for both last week. They gave me a pickup window 9AM. I show up early & there's a big line. I ask a worker & she says there's 1 line. She states there's 1 line for picking up a cake paid in full, ordering a new cake, getting coffee, getting pastries. Guys NO GOOD! Why pay in full & order a week prior? You should have 2/3 lines. 1 line picking up cakes paid in full only. 1 bread line only. 1 line for new orders. I remember when Conties would price the specialty cheesecakes to $30-$35 max. a 12inch pistatchio cheesecake is $46???? i know for a fact the employees dont get paid enough for the price of a cheesecake to increase that dramatically. one of the girls said the pies/cakes are made a week before they're sold, so the price on soon to expire pastries is insane. for $46 dollars I can get a larger and better quality cheesecake in Manhattan. The ladies behind the counter look unhappy and find every request to be inconvenient. this place is definitely ripping you off. UPDATE: I opened the box of cookies for my friend, she reached for the first cookie and as soon as she took a bite, she pulled out a blond hair from the cookie. $22 dollars for cookies full of hair. I'm never going back.

I just wanted to thank you personally for the wonderful cake you created in honour of my 50th birthday. I was so impressed and so was everyone else!!! It seemed such a shame to have to cut into it, but I'm glad we did because the cake itself was a delicious light sponge with a delicate orangey tang and creamy butter icing, just perfect and just what I wanted J.
