    Regina cookies and toasts
    Julie Ying X.

I came here with my family to check out their selection since we were having lunch at Enzo's after. This is an old school Italian bakery with a large bread and cookie selection. We ordered some Regina cookies and toasts. The cookies and toasts were delicious and fresh. My family also ordered their cannolis and they were filled to order. They said the cannoli was great as well. Surprisingly, we had their olive bread at Enzo's since it was in the bread basket. It was delicious and I really enjoyed the cured olives. I definitely have to come back to try their charcuterie bread and rainbow cookies.

Another place that just knocks you out with a delicious smell. This is THE bakery to go for if you want the best bread. And a HUGE selection of Biscotti! We samples several varieties and they were all delicious. Plus as any PROPER Italian Bakery does...they fill cannoli to order! Our favorite bread this time was a fennel raisin. Not sure it's going to last until tomorrow.

Heaven: (Though If U Don't Eat Lard, Definitely Ask Which Loaves Are Done W/Out It)

Madonia B. on iconic Arthur Ave, is bread heaven in the heart of Little Italy in The BX. The smell alone will pull you in from down the block (maybe an exaggeration) and once you're in, you must grab something before you leave. Their Italian bread is the real deal: crunchy, fluffy, and full of old-world flavor. Some are topped with sesame seeds and others aren't. Heads-up for non-pork eaters (like me)- some breads are made with lard, so definitely ask first. This was the perfect spot to grab a semolina non-seeded loaf and one of those round, rustic breads while my daughter picked out pignolli cookies to bring to a simple Mother's Day lunch at my mom's house. The ladies behind the counter are total gems. But the best part? The prices won't make your wallet cry. Authentic, delicious, and run by lovely people. Madonia is a must-stop carb party.

I'm very disappointed with this bakery. I wrote a google review the day I went on 4/17/2026 and they reported me for giving them a two star review. I couldn't believe it. My family and I have been going to this bakery for many years. It was our go-to spot. We loved the pastries here, but the size of the cookies has decreased to half the size they used to be. They may as well be cookie bites with how tiny they are now. The price somehow remains the same for half the amount that I got before. I thought price went based on weight, but I guess not. The young ladies in the front are rude and don't understand anything you say. I repeated myself a ridiculous amount of times every time I went and they still didn't understand a word I said. Eventually I just got frustrated and gave up on asking for the pastries I wanted and just got a few cookies. I will take my business elsewhere especially with how they deal with criticism. It's extremely unprofessional.

A nice bakery. Breads look amazing. They have prosciutto bread some of the nicest. Service wasn't the best. Employee pretty pissed at the world. They have fresh taralli barese. Haven't found those anywhere in the USA. They're not like Italy and you can taste the oil so I'm not a fan of them. Two breads and a few taralli. Taralli $9 lb breads $6. They cut them for you.

A nice 9/11 tribute behind the counter.

We really enjoyed this bakery. Thr cannoli are delicious. Not a lot of options besides large and small, but delicious veeme with chocolate chips, and a nice shell. We also enjoyed the Italian cookies, especially thr florentines and linza tarts. Delicious samples were provided as well

They have a WALL of biscotti. They are all amazing. The chocolate drop cookies are also amazing. The customers all are very happy - for good reason ! This is a magic place.

Had a cannoli and a tri color cake cookie. Yummy! Cannoli was filled upon request! A little sweet for my taste... but very fresh! Place was PACKED with locals getting bread! Would love to come back and get bread when i had time to cook!

    Charcuterie bread
    Kristina I.

The charcuterie bread was absolutely to die for. There were so many different breads to choose from, it was really difficult to pick just a few!

    Best pignoli's period.
    Frank T.

It's the best. I've been getting olive bread here for twenty years. It's always amazing, always the same, maybe the price went up a little - but everything else consistent. Oh- there was a PIT in my bread last time - really hurt my tooth - I wasn't expecting a hard olive pit in the bread. Not sure how that one slipped through the process - first time ever that happened. The pignoli's are also ALWAYS good. Not sometimes, ALWAYS. Sometimes you have to cross a bridge on Long Island for this quality.

Does this place have a sit-down area? Can you order coffee there?

No sit down area here -- really just a place to grab to-go pastries

Hello! I was wondering if these guys sell any types of bread that don't contain dairy products or eggs?

Plain bread is flour, water, yeast, and a little salt. Sweet breads (not the meat variety) could contain eggs. Their semolina bread is fantastic.

In a part of Morris Park that's changed, Conti's is a great asset. My constructive criticism on Conti's. I ordered 2 cakes online. Paid in full for both last week. They gave me a pickup window 9AM. I show up early & there's a big line. I ask a worker & she says there's 1 line. She states there's 1 line for picking up a cake paid in full, ordering a new cake, getting coffee, getting pastries. Guys NO GOOD! Why pay in full & order a week prior? You should have 2/3 lines. 1 line picking up cakes paid in full only. 1 bread line only. 1 line for new orders. I remember when Conties would price the specialty cheesecakes to $30-$35 max. a 12inch pistatchio cheesecake is $46???? i know for a fact the employees dont get paid enough for the price of a cheesecake to increase that dramatically. one of the girls said the pies/cakes are made a week before they're sold, so the price on soon to expire pastries is insane. for $46 dollars I can get a larger and better quality cheesecake in Manhattan. The ladies behind the counter look unhappy and find every request to be inconvenient. this place is definitely ripping you off. UPDATE: I opened the box of cookies for my friend, she reached for the first cookie and as soon as she took a bite, she pulled out a blond hair from the cookie. $22 dollars for cookies full of hair. I'm never going back.

I just wanted to thank you personally for the wonderful cake you created in honour of my 50th birthday. I was so impressed and so was everyone else!!! From the individual blades of grass, delicate little flowers, strands of hair blowing in the wind and the specs (how on earth did you do those?!) It seemed such a shame to have to cut into it, but I'm glad we did because the cake itself was a delicious light sponge with a delicate orangey tang and creamy butter icing, just perfect and just what I wanted J. Your creativity and artistry really made my party-meal special and I would certainly recommend you to all of my friends without hesitation.
