The cream cheese frosting was NOT good at all. Tasted like horrible butter cream or something. The cake was good but the layers are thin so there's no missing the nasty frosting. The cupcakes are definitely made with boxed cake mix. It lacks that mild density that you get with, from scratch batter. I could tell instantly when I bit into the red velvet cupcake, cause my wife has made box red velvet cake many times before. It's really a shame because they are decorated beautifully. The cannolis are the one saving grace but again it lacks that creamy ricotta flavor. It's almost as if they're filling them with "mild cheese" cool whip. No amount of convincing can tell me that that is not box mix. The vanilla cupcake however tastes very good although the frosting is not the best.
