Tables are a bit close together, but was not an issue, everyone was friendly! -Service- Danny and Kathy were extremely welcoming and friendly. We ended up being the last patrons before they closed. We talked about family and learned that we a have family in the same area, small world! Happened upon this place when googling a coffee shop near the botanical gardens. Came here with a few friends we all shared the most delicious almond amaretto cake and a cookie filled with chocolate which was also very satisfying. I don't know how I've somehow missed this spot on my many trips to Arthur Ave over the years, but I recently stopped here with a group of friends while we were spending the day in the area and wanted some coffee. The interior is very cozy, they have coffee, pastries, and wine, and it was the perfect spot to sit for a half hour and just chat with our drinks before heading to our early dinner. We will definitely be back the next time I am in the area. read more

One of my favorite refuges in the Bronx has become this cafe. Danny is an amazing welcoming host. That fact is first and foremost. I've also made a friend or two sitting out front at the tables. When I'm not working, I want to relax. This spot is very "chill". The selection of pastries and spirits is bar none another awesome draw. They have Tully, which is easily a go to for Irish whiskey. I've also enjoyed the Peroni beer the cafe offers. Sitting out front, you get a sense of the "life" of the neighborhood sauntering by: families and groups of friends and couples. And it is cigar friendly! This small fact is a massive detail for an introvertuve pensive moment. Being a teacher, I'm often seeking a place outdoors to sit and read and think. There are other spots in the neighborhood, bars and restaurants, but having this cafe to grab a drink without loud music or obnoxious behavior is a godsend. read more

A really nice cafe/bar. The shop is small but very intimate and comfy. This is a nice spot to stop and get a drink and or dessert. We did both! We were waiting for our table to be called at the restaurant next door. While we waited we had several drinks which was a nice way to spend some time. The service was quick and helpful. While we were there the first time we noticed they had some really good desserts so we decided to give them a try right after dinner. So glad that we did. We ordered some cannolis, a rainbow cake, tiramisu and a Nutella parfait. Everyone of our desserts were absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back for desserts. read more

We'd return if we're looking for a place to have drinks because everywhere else comparable nearby with plentiful outdoor seating is either a restaurant or an alcohol-free café. my daughter and i were here three weeks ago to try their pasteries because i saw two ladies sitting down in their seats and were sharing a pastery together and it looked good...we always went to morrones bakery but, some of the pasteries we usually have were not tasting well with us, so we walked in were greeted by a gentleman, we chose the tiramisu and a espresso with some kakola rum, my daughter and i sat outside and we tried the tiramasu...it was DELICIOUS, it was better then morrones tiramasu, nice,fluffy, tasty, and the espresso was delicious also, a bit too much rum but it was good, it cost 14.00 dollars but it was worth going there to enjoy a piece of cake read more

I have been going to Parisienne Cafe for many years. It is by far the best cafe, with the best deserts and choices for liquor in the Belmont Area of the Bronx. The owner has built a great and comfortable place that shows his excellent taste. It is a gem in the middle of Little Italy and has deserts that are different from all other Cafes in the area.
