We ended up here super randomly after visiting the Met Cloisters, we took a city bus from there, got dropped off at some random park, and while walking around, we stumbled upon this cute little restaurant for lunch. There was only one guy running the whole place, seating people, taking orders, bringing out food, and even helping in the kitchen. He was working so hard. The outdoor seating looked nice but was full, so we sat inside near some open doors with a lovely view of the gardens very peaceful and forest-y. Service was understandably slow, but honestly, it wasn't his fault. They're definitely short-staffed and could use more help, it's a lot for one person to handle everything. The food was tasty, I had the burrata with pesto, and it hit the spot. The server was also really kind, my phone was almost dead, and he let me charge it with their charger, which totally saved the day since we still had a lot of sightseeing ahead. It looks like they also have a small café downstairs, which we didn't get to check out but looked cozy. Overall, a pleasant surprise and a nice place to unwind after exploring the Cloisters, just come with a little patience.

This place is really nice. It's far as hell, but nice. I asked the hostess if I was still in NYC she said yes. I went here for a holiday party. They had several passed h'ors devours that were so tasty, except the duck. I just couldn't eat it. But the location had free parking so that was an automatic win for me. I will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu.

We spent a day at ft tryon park and visiting the Cloisters. Wanted to refuel energy and the Bonnefont was a great place to do just that. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed. We sat on the patio which was pretty and warm thanks to heat lamps Eggs Benedict was a solid choice. Salmon gratine was outstanding though - creamy cheese and salmon sauce with beautifully baked and seasoned potatoes. Also got a French press coffee - $10 is steep for coffee but this was easy 3 cups so can be shared Overall a solid spot in the area

Ambiance: 8/10 impression is this is a charming restaurant in Fort Tryon Park and a cute little rest stop. Staff is friendly. Even though we made reservations, we still had to wait for our table to be prepared. Indoors is also very dark. Service: 4/10 Service is slow. I don't suggest going here if you have a major appointment to go to afterward. We were seated outdoors, and we're put on the "special table" that had a mosquito net. If you like to take your time and enjoy listening to birds chirping, then you might enjoy this spot. We put an order for our drinks but then had to wait a few more minutes to put our food order in. We basically waited one hour for our food to come (not exaggerating). I had to wave my arms multiple times to get attention from the staff. You will not be checked on frequently. Food: 8/10 Food was just enough, and delicious. But nothing outstanding. We went for weekend brunch. The Butternut Squash Gratin (not pictured), was our favorite dish. Eggs Benedict was as good as expected, but the potatoes could've been cooked a little longer and seasoned more. My mom ordered a pressed coffee that was large enough to share for 2 people. If I were to come back, I would only come for drinks and someone who enjoys long talks. It seems like a better watering hole than food joint. In any case, I'm happy they opened the restaurant up again.

A magical fairytale stone restaurant in the forest ....but we are still in Manhattan! This place was visually stunning and the food was delicious as well. We sat outside and enjoyed their cheeses, meats, and finished with the short ribs.

Went for lunch. Absolutely gorgeous and transformative setting. Think French countryside. Had a delicious sandwich - BIG herby chicken salad on French bread. Hibiscus tea. My friend had a baked squash Au gratin. Terrific!!! Enough for leftovers to enjoy today. Service was attentive and accommodating. I will be back again.

Wow! What an amazing restaurant. Ambiance, food, and drink on point! Perfect spot for a birthday dinner-- large groups and small. I felt like I was in a cottage in the woods-- but still in Manhattan. The coq au vin was delicious and the crème brûlée for the dessert is a must.

I think it's just during weekends but they've now opened the downstairs area for ice cream, gelato, and cold drinks. It's right off the road and the parking lot so it's not the most picturesque space but today was really hot and the shade and breeze made this a nice spot to hang out and have a treat. $5 for a scoop of ice cream in a cup, $6 for a scoop in a cone. I tried the dark chocolate and cherry and was yummy.

I've never tried a Japanese cheesecake before and was extremely excited to be able to pick up some treats for my coworkers as well as my partner's birthday cake from Keki. Ordering is fairly straightforward and done with a simple machine outfront. Once your order is ready one of the staff members hands it to you through a window; there is no inside area accessible to customers but our food came quickly and we took it back to the office. The cheesecake was fantastic. I read a bit about the background of the shop online and how the owner really cares about using high-quality ingredients, specifically dairy. It was justas described, light and bouncy. I enjoyed how it was not overly sweet and found that it was all too easy to devour the entire cake over the course of two days. Despite it not having much weight to it, it traveled surprisingly well as I took it home on my three train commute! Similar to what others have said, the real highlight of the shop, in my opinion, are their cream puffs. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but the outer layer was thin yet had a nice little crunch to it. We tried the classic milk, cookies & cream pistachio and ube flavors. Our favorite was the pistachio by far, which had such a unique yet decadent flavor and our second favorite was the milk cream puff. There's not much else I can say other than you really have to go here and try the desserts yourself. If you're a fan of Japanese desserts that are rich yet not too sweet, you'll be a fan of Keki.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
