    Iced Organic Matcha Latte 16oz.
    Karina T.

Ordered from here one random afternoon. I was in the mood for a matcha and then needed something for lunch later. I like my matcha light and on the sweeter side, they nailed it! Then I ordered the chicken tacos. Simple but so fresh, and the accompanying green salsa was very tasty. I'm definitely curious to try more items from the menu.

Definitely a hidden gem and so glad to have found this place! We tried the breakfast options here and food is on point. I loved my Pistachio latte, delicious and not overly sweet! Service is super friendly and folks here are nice. They have a lovely outdoor patio and we definitely enjoyed our time here!

This place is the actual love of my life. Such good food! Great people working! The vibes are always great! And the secret not so secret backyard patio is everything! Come visit! It's truly some of the best bagels and Nutella iced coffee ever.

First visit on my way to Dunkin. The coffee here is better quality & cheaper than Dunkin. They have a variety of pasteries & a nice atmosphere. Family owned & offered great service. My new coffee spot! Happy Yelping!

    Breakfast Burrito with chorizo

This place is a cute cafe in the east Harlem area. I came here looking for a breakfast burrito and saw that they had a reasonably priced breakfast burrito for about $11. Adding chorizo made it $14 but it was well worth it. They have cheap drip coffee, plenty of different lattes and foods that look and sound great. The breakfast burrito was better than some expensive ones I've tried in lower manhattan. It's a healthy size and great for the price. Service was great and the atmosphere is good. Overall a great spot, and one that I am wanting to come back and try more from!

Azalea Caffe is definitely Five Stars. It's clean and spacious. The employees are very nice and efficient. The prices are reasonable and the menu is extensive. They fix whatever you like whenever you want. No specific time for lunch menu. I wanted a early morning sandwich. It wasn't on the menu. I just told him what I want and his kitchen employee made it perfect. I was given the choice of white or whole wheat sliced bread. I asked for a Grilled American Cheese with Bacon on Whole Wheat. It was only $4.63! It was so delicious. Had I asked for white bread they use Bread Alone Peasant Bread. I'm sure I'll be back for that. As many times as I have walked by going to Costco I'm very happy I made a separate trip today. My daughter kept saying we would return to eat. I can't wait for her to come along! She doesn't know what she's missing at Azalea Caffe. I'm definitely recommending!!

The service is amazing, there's beauty in supporting a family owned business. It's also great to know that the staff speaks Spanish and English! I highly recommend the veggie panini that's my favorite item on the food menu! And the outdoor decor provides the perfect ambiance/addition to Spanish Harlem :).

    Scrambled eggs French Toast
    Natasha T.

Came in on a rainy day and got the French toast with scrambled eggs with pepper Jack cheese and a large iced coffee. Altogether I think it was $20 with tip. The food was hot, delicious and the space was very clean and friendly. Seating can be for you alone, a group of friends or even a brunch date.

i absolutely adore this little cafe!! the horchata latte is legendary, and the huevos rancheros are divine. the staff are all kind and service is quick. it has a quaint vibe to it, but it's still very charming. i will def be going every time i'm in the area

Such a cute spot, and the food is absolutely to die for. I bought the Azalea, and I could have eaten ten of them!! Everything we had was amazing. Lots of options, and superb service. They definitely care about you and your order here!

    Ashley W.

Adorable cafe right on 116th. Service was great, and the atmosphere is really relaxing. I decided to keep it simple and ordered the breakfast plate, it was delicious and my eggs were soft scrambled which is the way it should always be! I'll definitely be back. Menu looks pretty extensive, will try a chorizo entree the next time around.

Second, we ordered the falafel bowl that includes three falafels, pickled onions, avocado, cucumber, whipped garlic feta, kale salad, romesco, and Za'atar dressing that had a delicious flavor. However, our ultimate favorite had to be the Thai Crunch Wrap with sweet potato fries. It was fairly busy, and our drinks took a while to come, but the food arrived shortly after. Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water.
