[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cute community restaurant. From the outside you wouldn't think this place as so quant inside. Totally impressive!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My partner and I ordered BLT with turkey bacon. Very tasty, I was only able to eat half. The portions are big . Service was just as great as the meal. I'm not from this neighborhood but if I were from the neighborhood I would patronize this establishment OFTEN! If you're in the area (even if you're working remotely or doing schoolwork) stop by. You'll love it!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great local cafe. Ample seating and two bathrooms.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a full food menu, pastries and drinks. I had the eggplant po boy and it was so good! I had a chai latte as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I stayed and ate in the cafe and it was nice and not overly loud.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Some people had laptops and I'm not sure if there's a laptop time limit here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also saw board games for people to play.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a covered outdoor seating area with a couch etc.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff was friendly and prices were average for an NYC cafe, Would definitely go back.

I come here regularly and when I came recently I ordered their shrimp po boy which was amazing. The sandwich was amazing and the textures were a great balance. The shrimps were a great size and the sauce was absolutely. The texture of the bread was perfect crispy but not overly crunchy. I loved this sandwich as you cans read it was the perfect meal. The service is always friendly and the food is always hot and the ingredients are top quality. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is always open and quiet enough to work in. They have an outdoor which is covered if you want more privacy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Service was great and owner Dewayne was so friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This cute cafe was in Harlem where I was staying and just a short walk for me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the opportunity to visit twice and each time I was the Smoked Salmon Bagel no cream cheese, add fried egg, on an everything bagel. I also got a Matcha Latte both times and add cookie butter flavor- surprisingly good! This would definitely be a spot I would frequent if I lived in the neighborhood. Oh yea that pound cake was delicious as well, can't forget that!

NBHD Coffee is the perfect spot when you need a quick bite, a breather, or a boost. Their matcha is smooth, creamy, and not too sweet, just how I like it. I loved their breakfast sandwich with Chicken sausage 10/10. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the environment & ambiance the music is at a great level and they play hits.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Along with strong and reliable WiFi to finish your work for the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I LOVE this place

    Cajun Shrimp Salad
    David-Anthony S.

Stopped by this Black-owned coffee spot in Harlem on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the energy was warm and welcoming--great customer service that felt genuine, not forced. You can tell the team really takes pride in what they do. I ordered the Cajun shrimp salad and a latte, and both were next level. The salad was super fresh, seasoned just right with a little kick, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly--tender with that bold Cajun flavor. The latte was smooth, creamy, and honestly one of the best I've had uptown. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space itself is adorable--cozy indoor seating with natural light pouring in, and a cute outdoor area that's perfect for people-watching or catching a breeze on a warm day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had classic R&B playing while I was there--think Jill Scott, D'Angelo, and Sade--which made the whole experience feel soulful and relaxed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're in Harlem and looking for a place to chill, grab a bite, and support Black-owned excellence, this is it. Definitely adding it to my regular rotation.p

Tried the omelet one time and the pancakes the next. Both pretty large and took half the omelette home in a to go box. Both delicious as expected. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The baristas and the owner make you feel at home, and the music and vibe is always good.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Egg n Cheese Biscuit W/ Protein (turkey bacon) is delicious!

Best biscuit I've ever had & [[HIGHLIGHT]]one of the few places where the music is so good you don't need headphones[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Staff is always so friendly.

My favorite black bean burger in Harlem. I also like the egg & cheese sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great coffee, great service, great vibes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Love the vibe and the pastries here. The cozy couches and warm decorations make this the perfect spot to catch up with a friend or read a book. The black coffee is just so-so, but their pastries are all great!

This cafe is super dope . Always friendly upon arrival . Food is good & iced coffee is cool , had to add my own spin to the iced coffee as my order was not done correct but I'll give them a pass because my orders are always on point . My go to cafe . Prices are reasonable . My favorite thus far is the bacon & egg on a biscuit . Sooo freaking good . I can't wait to try their fresh lemonade & other items

We got the Banter Bowl, which includes pickled carrot, cabbage, watermelon radish, cucumber, edamame, avocado, quinoa, and miso ponzu dressing. You have a choice of meats, so we chose the grilled chicken. Second, we ordered the falafel bowl that includes three falafels, pickled onions, avocado, cucumber, whipped garlic feta, kale salad, romesco, and Za'atar dressing that had a delicious flavor. However, our ultimate favorite had to be the Thai Crunch Wrap with sweet potato fries. It was fairly busy, and our drinks took a while to come, but the food arrived shortly after. The next time I'm back, I will be sure to reorder the Thai crunch wrap. If you have food allergies, they are extremely accommodating and have numerous vegan/vegetarian/GF.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

The inside looked really nice with some nice pictures on the wall and lots of space for seating. They also have a downstairs that has a bar and plenty of seating. We just ordered a few Aperol Spritz and chilled at the bar. The drinks tasted really good. Hard to mess that up but you never know. They had music playing from something in the background which was really good. The bartenders were alway asking if we needed anything so that was good. We didn't order any food but the plates that we saw looked really good. Definitely a place you need to check out if your looking for a cool spot to drink and get some bites to eat. They also have a good happy hour and from the looks of it a nice brunch with bottomless mimosas. Have to come check out this place if your in town or live near the area.

It's $25 for unlimited drinks plus food by the way. Which is sad is a deal these days. Anyway, their happy hour is solid enough for a Monday and was meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. Place is actually very cute. There are no tvs which I appreciate and the paneling of the walls and decor with all the flowers is quite tasteful. Happy hour deals 4-7pm Mon-Fri & all night Thursday apparently: Aperol Spritz $8, Hugo Spritz $9, Paloma $10, Mules $9, Draft Beers (except Guinness) $7, House Wine $9. As well as 2 Appetizer Bites for $19.95. Not the best but not the worst. I'm normally not a Spritz kind of gal. I think watering down prosecco or wine is heinous. But it was a Monday and I didn't exactly feel like powering down into happy hour so Aperol Spritz it was which switched to a Modelo later. It was the perfect drink situation on a god awful hot as hell day. We also ordered the fish tacos and what initially were the curry fries but they brought out the Greek fries. I wasn't mad about it. Honestly was torn between the two and I don't send food back unless something really bad happened. But it was essentially a side of Caesar salad dressing with feta cheese and generous amount of herbs on a very sparse and frugal amount of crispy standard cut fries. Now I know why it's a 2 for $20 deal. The tacos were 3 in an order which I guess is typical. They weren't bad but nothing stood out to me. I'd come for the drinks or try something else on the menu.
