Wow, this coffee shop has great vibes, amazing service, and stellar lattes. The Coconut Foam latte is just out of this world, but so is the matcha, and while I haven't had any of the food yet, it looks really great!

Pricey if you choose the sit‑down restaurant side, but the experience is lovely. They now have two sections, a to‑go counter and a full dine‑in area. The space is beautifully decorated, very clean, and the service was genuinely warm. Our waiter was incredibly kind. The food was good.

I'm an individual that has worked in the food industry for over 10 years front and back of the house so this is an honest review from my visit. To start when you walk in you definitely don't feel like you're on 116th in Harlem the ambiance of the restaurant is a 10/10 with the open windows it makes the restaurant feel very spacious. Youre then instantly greeted with a warm welcome from the waiter/barista that makes you feel like you've made the right decision coming to this restaurant. The wife and I both ordered the country breakfast which was only $15 each with their breakfast deal and is definitely a steal! I had the sparking pom lemonade 10/10. The wife had a caramel frap which was little sweet for her liking but the waiter added an extra shot then it was perfect! Sadly to say the reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because I did find a hair in my food but the waiter comped my meal and even offered an alternative on the house. Oh lastly if you do like a lot of pepper on your food be prepared and know they hold the pepper hostage and won't like you put your own desired amount the waiter stated he had to crack it himself which I thought was odd. Overall 4 out of 5 would definitely visit again hopefully next time they have salt and pepper shakers on the table haha

Home fries are the best its seasoned just right. Pancakes are great.

Food is always really good fresh and good portions. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. It's a family owned business and you can tell they are very serious about their passion. They just recently opened up a sitting area that is cute and quiet to eat at. I just recently ordered delivery and food came on point and tasted just as good. Definitely recommend to try, prices are reasonable considering the type of food quality and portions you get for it.

Some of the best cold brew I've ever had. So delicious. Service was great and workers were kind. I went twice in 2 days. Highly recommend!

I was very impressed!!! Really great beverages. I can see why my friends that live in the city hype it. Small little shop but the drinks are fire, bomb.com, deeelishhhhh I can't wait until I go back to the city so I can have this again! I got the chai tea (which I'm picky about) with almond milk and the sesame bun sandwhich with egg, cheese, and bacon. The bacon was thick and crispy (yummmm) and the bread was fluffy like a croissant. Apparently the croissants here are a big hit, they're always sold out. So if they're not, get it. There's not really seating just like two seats. It's a really small spot, but they're really quick about getting your drinks and food to you.

I always get a drip coffee or hot oat milk latte, consistently good each time. Never a wait and if there is it's so minor it lets me enjoy the music. They always give my dog a pup cup.

Fried eggs, large fluffy plain pancakes. Lots of turkey sausage. They are larger in person than appear in picture.

I ordered plain pancakes, fried eggs and turkey sausage. The quality of EVERYTHING was Excellent! The products were cooked with quality ingredients and I was very satisfied with everything I received. I can't thank this shop enough for making quality food with quality ingredients and offering amazing service as well. I want to eat here everyday for breakfast!!

Lady Blue has saved me twice now, when needing to grab dinner before a Broadway show. Yesterday (Sat) we got last minute tickets to an 8pm show and had to quickly find a place for dinner. Many of the spots in the Theater District were already booked from 5:30-7:30. Some were just way overpriced. I had been to Lady Blue before and liked it, and they had 6pm availability. When we arrived, it was lively but not unbearably crowded. The place is small with a few booths, but surprisingly the hostess brought the two of us to a full booth. It felt nice and luxurious! And we did not have to wait or fight for the table at all. Our waitress was very attentive, checking on us multiple times. As others have mentioned, this place is much more than a cocktail bar - they serve a wide variety of American food (flatbreads, burgers/sandwiches, entrees) - however the cocktails are fun and interesting too. My friend got the Magic Mermaid and I got the Chai Fashioned cocktail. Hers was so fun - blue in a fishbowl looking glass with a tail fin sticking out. Mine was a unique take on the typical Old Fashioned filled with spices. Next we got bacon-wrapped dates to start - absolutely delicious. Perfect mix of sweet and savory flavors of bacon, blue cheese, and date. For mains, we both got the Lady B Burger, which was a step up from the regular burger - we were able to order as we liked it (I got the bacon on the side). It also comes with a salad but you can pay extra for fries or tots. I got truffle fries, which hit the spot. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed - the music was kind of a remix of 70s hits and newer stuff. We were able to eat at comfortable pace, pay, and leave with plenty of time before our show. I will definitely be back!

I had their version of the lemon drop as well as another cocktail not on happy hour, one of their many espresso martinis. Both were just "meh" Also had the meatballs (also on happy hour) and while they were tasty, they were cold. Which surprised me because they came in a cast iron skillet. Cute place but I probably won't be back.

Can get a bit busy and took bit longer than expected to get the order but regular check-ins afterwards. Atmosphere - (4/5) - it's at the bottom of the Edison Hotel so there isn't a dedicated restroom it's by the hotel lobby. Dim and homey feel to the layout and furniture/lighting. Friedman's d/b/a Gayle's Broadway Rose where there are singing servers who are struggling actors/actresses attempting to get into the acting/stage/film industry while working in the food service restaurant business. I did not experience the singing servers during my patronized visit. Upon entering the Maître d' announced "right now, we're only seating at the bar counter not at tables," so why do I see patrons sitting at booth tables? Oh! It was somewhat busy but not at full capacity for full-on hustle bustle busy. Seating for one, please. "And if I'm flying solo At least I'm flying free" - Elphaba from "Wicked", Broadway musical number "Defying Gravity" Friedman's is located adjacent to Hotel Edison and restroom facility is in the hotel's lobby. Access to Hotel Edison's facility is limited as the hotel's staff will stop all who enter as I am not a hotel guest. I believe Friedman's is very overhype, and overrated. My male server/waiter calls all the female patrons "love" which does not bother me and does not irk me at all. But please do not call me "babe", "baby", "mamma" or "mommy" as these are too sexist, outdated and stereotype in some cultures/race directed at women. Friedman's is certainly a modern American luncheonette. No comment for alcohol as I not order any. There are no business cards for keepsake. Pastrami on rye $26.00 Mustard, pickle and vinegar chips The meat heavily embedded with a lot of white fat stretched and stuck together when bitten. The meat tasted very bland lacking flavor. The mustard was mild spicy which gave the meat a zesty kick for aliveness, but minimally applied. The pickle was average. The vinegar chips were very stale and harden. The rye bread was average with caraway seeds which was blah. I am uninterested in caraway seeds. Katz's Delicatessen continues to reign supreme in pastrami on rye as the meat is excessively abundant quantity piled high and very flavorful taste without the need of mustard or mayo condiment. I prefer this sandwich accompanied with fries like Katz's Delicatessen offers. At the bottom of the sales receipt there is a suggested gratuity in intervals of 20%, 22% and 25% where customers do not have to perform math calculation. I was able to obtain my sales receipt as keepsake.
