What a gem Lido is. Intimate and romantic, yet casual enough for a dinner with a friend. Think brick walls and candles, and the acoustics of amicable conversation - lively but not loud. Our server was adorable. He steered us to the right wines. And then the best part: a three course menu for $45! What a wonderful deal. We each had the nectarine salad to start, then diverged on the main course: grilled salmon with a coating of pesto, and chicken piccata. Each of us was thrilled. I was too full for dessert, but was able to take home a brownie to enjoy later. And I did! read more

- Frite Salmone - (A Tier), think like a mini crab cake made out of shredded salmon. Outside the breading is soft and crispy and the inside fish filling is soft and well seasoned. Mixed with the lemon and aioli gives it a refreshing kick. - Pinot Grigio by Vignetti Del Sole - B Tier - Pairs well with the frite salmone and mussels with a dry finish but nothing crazy to die for. - Chicken Picatta - (A Tier), from the first bite I could tell this was going to be good. I'm typically critical of Italian restaurants with chicken picatta because my mom makes it really well. But the acidity from the capers balanced with the tenderness of the chicken mixed with the sweetness of the artichokes. Superb. - Steamed Mussels - (A Tier), mussels cooked well with the sauce which was a tomato base with the bread. Delicious overall! read more

Wanted to love Lido, but the food felt like a miss for me. The ambiance was indisputably wonderful (lots of folks communing and seemingly having a good time), but I was underwhelmed by the food. The creamy garlic parmesan bread appetizer was tasty, but that was the beginning and end to any excitement for my tastebuds. My main dish, the fresh squid ink linguini, lacked flavor. My friend said the same about her dish, a soup on the daily specials (which she had previously really enjoyed). The savory bread pudding was also lackluster. I really like bread pudding and was sad I didn't want to scarf it down immediately. It pained me that we barely touched it. My friend is a fan of Lido's and has had lots of positive experiences with their menu offerings. She thought something may have gone amiss the night we went. It was a disappointing first meal, but with some convincing I may be willing to give them another chance. We'll see... read more

Nice little establishment came on a Saturday with friends for brunch. s Service was wonderful, drinks were great. The food was really good, we had the mussels, steak panini, caesar salad with grilled chicken and arugula salad with grilled chicken.. Nice little neighborhood, gem, I definitely come back again. read more

Went to LIDO Harlem for brunch during a meeting and really enjoyed it. We got there for the brunch and ended up staying into dinner time . Cute place! The grilled salmon with arugula salad was delicious and perfectly cooked, definitely a highlight. Drinks were solid, and the coffee was excellent. Service was amazing...very attentive and friendly, which made the experience even better. The French toast was tasty, but a little hard to cut through (probably because it was brioche, felt like I was working through the end pieces). For dessert, everything was okay overall, with the tiramisu standing out as the best option of the three we tried. Overall, a great brunch spot with excellent service and standout salmon :) I'd definitely return. read more

Lido is the perfect place for brunch. The food and mimosas were delicious. The staff was very attentive. I recommend that you make a reservation beforehand. My only complaint is that they place the tables to close together, making it a little uncomfortable. It was hard to squeeze into my seat. Also, the staffs rear end was in my face while serving the table next to mine. Other than that it was great and I'd go back again. read more

My absolute favorite brunch restaurant! Food is delicious and service is efficient. Their restaurant week menus are worth it for the amount of food that is given for the price. read more

A Memorable Harlem Gem That Keeps Me Coming Back Years ago, I came across this spot on a recommendation--and it left such a lasting impression that I knew I had to return. This recent visit confirmed exactly why it earned a place on my personal list of must-try restaurants. Nestled in Harlem, this restaurant is part of a neighborhood that has seen tremendous change over the past 30 years. While gentrification brings complex emotions, one positive is the emergence of exceptional dining experiences like this. It's a beautiful reflection of Harlem's evolving food scene--where history, creativity, and hospitality meet. We visited for brunch and went with the bottomless Sangria and Mimosas. The Sangria surprised me--it was much lighter than expected, with a crisp, refreshing taste. At first, I thought it might be the white version, and the staff didn't hesitate to bring over both so I could compare. That thoughtful touch set the tone for the entire meal. The service was friendly, prompt, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. The white polenta was everything I hoped for--smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. It brought back all the good memories from my first visit. The braised short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender and incredibly flavorful. These are the kinds of dishes that show real care and technique in the kitchen. The atmosphere is just as inviting as the food. There's a vibrant energy in the space--stylish yet relaxed, making it perfect for everything from a leisurely brunch with friends to a date night or special celebration. Whether you're a local or visiting New York City and want to explore Harlem beyond the typical tourist stops, I can't recommend this place enough. It's a true gem--where the food is memorable, the drinks are generous, and the service makes you feel like a valued guest. I'll absolutely be returning again. read more

Very welcoming from the door. The inside on chilly Saturday late afternoon warm and welcoming. Kind of a buzz but not too full. The smell if Italian American food permeates the air. Not good if you are hungry. I scan couple groups and families with children an alsome empty bar awaiting the date night crowd. Im in comfy corner taking in soft funky jazz at just right volume to create white noise. Iv been served and checked on. I choose something light and aromatic. The mushroom soup and an order of creamy garlic bread. You gotta try it. Mayne not on a date but a mint can change the outcome. Dan my server really make the difference to the experience. You can tell thIs is His spot. I'll be back with friends. Seem like a nice lunch place when beating the date night crowd. Check em out. My very first time inside. read more

Lido is one of my favorite spots for brunch. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the food is delicious. You could come to Lido for a birthday brunch or a low key outing with friends. It fits both the vibes. On weekends there is an hour where they close the kitchen to prepare for dinner. So keep that in mind! read more

I truly dont know how i have not reviewed this place. It is a really good spot to meet up with friends and have brunch. They have really good pancakes and although I'm not really a pancake person, I do enjoy eating theirs. The service is really great and there is plenty of seating. Great music, nice lighting and outside seating when weather permits read more

Love it great memories, great place! Recommend to everyone! Food was to die for! Coming back soon!

-First Impression- Well I've been here before, but I definitely had a better time at brunch compared to dinner -Food- Had the salmon and Caesar salad... Slapped. I love salmon and this one was great. Also had gnocchi for the first time. -Service- Paola was amazing. It was very busy, but she made sure to check in and make sure everyone was happy -Price- If you've ever been to brunch, you know the deal, lol -Did Not Like- We did bottomless brunch, refills were a little slow, as they were visibly very busy, but also a little flat (premixed) -Recommend- I'll be back for brunch read more

Had an incredible and flavorful meal here, highly recommend to anyone in the area. Our server was incredibly friendly and I loved the interior design of the restaurant. We shared their white bean kale salad and though it sounds simple, it was so good! I paired with their lemon rissotto which was packed with flavor and so delicious. Would get both dishes again in the future. read more

Came here for brunch for a friend's birthday. We went with the bottomless drinks. They are indeed bottomless you will never see the bottom of your glass. The service and attention is that good here. It's been around for a while but somehow looks new and cozy. I ordered the scrambled eggs with fontina cheese, bacon, and a biscuit. I will be thinking of the biscuit for ages to come. It was perfectly flakey and golden on the outside and cakey in the middle. read more

I was looking for places to eat while I was attending a conference nearby and came across Lido. I made a reservation for happy hour, but it wasn't very busy at all when we arrived, so you might not need to bother with a reservation. The servers were attentive without hovering, which was nice since they weren't too busy. I went with a colleague and we tried the calamari, meatballs, and creamy garlic bread from the happy hour menu along with sangria. It was all tasty, but the creamy garlic bread was a surprising hit. We dipped it in the sauce with the meatballs, since there was no bread served with that. My only complaint is there wasn't more of the garlic bread. For our entrees, we ordered the steamed mussels along with the chicken Marsala. We split both entrees and we enjoyed them both, but I think the chicken Marsala was the star. The risotto was so creamy and the sauce was packed with flavor. The interior of the restaurant was nicely decorated and is a perfect place for a date night or a business meal. It was my favorite meal of the trip by far. read more

Great brunch spot! Came here with a couple people for brunch and was not disappointed. They have bottomless mimosas for brunch and it's a great deal! Our waiter was amazing and was always super attentive. The meals themselves were also delicious! Came here for an early lunch on Juneteenth. Lido was packed! Indoor and outdoor minimal tables were available. We had reservations so as soon as we walked in we were seated We sat at a high table which quickly became uncomfortable. Also it was a hot summer day and the temperature inside could've been cooler. After scanning the menu I decided to go with fried calamari as my appetizer and grilled chicken caeser salad as my entree. The calamari lacked flavor BUT the dipping sauce was bomb. Totally made the dish better. The salad was ok but I wasn't a fan of the dressing. My waiter checked in once.... Anytime we needed something we had to flag him down. The service and food were both lackluster. read more

The food was pretty good. Service was good. Ambiance was nice. Prices were reasonable. The drinks were good.

Sadly, the drinks were not good, weak and not balanced. Food was satisfactory, but did not wow me.

Some thoughts: - needs bread - portion sizes could be larger - poor service, not very attentive I have a pretty low benchmark for attentive service is that my water glass should never be empty and I drink a lot of water My boyfriend got the the squid ink linguini, which included some pieces of seafood. He's always happier to have some variety of texture, such as calamari and shrimp in the pasta; and the shrimp tails were already removed, which is a noticeable bonus. I got the spaghetti which was flavorful but far too small. We liked the bright and open-air feeling of the room's atmosphere, although I'm sure this was helped by the slower weekday lunch timeframe of our visit. I can imagine the seating would quickly get cramped and difficult pros: tasty food, nice atmosphere, cozy seating cons: portion for the price, poor service that day, when does "cozy" become "cramped" 3.5 read more

Lido is a guaranteed, tried & true good time. One of the brunch establishments where you can actually converse with your neighbor but a guaranteed quality meal with great service & atmosphere. Whether in their outdoor dining cove, inside or at the bar, you can't go wrong with seating. Def make a reservation because they do get packed pretty quickly. Note that I've only dined during brunch hours but if this is how they handle brunch then I have no doubt their dinner is even more extensive. My go to order: Spaghetti & Veal Meatballs, the Arugula Salad & Creamy Parmesan Garlic Bread. 10/10. No notes. read more

Lido: A very packed and busy restaurant. The ambiance and vibes were nice and felt upscaled. Food Salad: Arugula, roasted pears, toasted walnuts, white parmesan with white balsamic vinaigrette -Wasn't too big fan of this combination. I didn't think the sweetness of the pears matched well with the dressing and flavor of arugula. Just not my cup of tea. Entree: Gnocchi w/ truffle butter The gnocchi was pretty good. Very creamy, chewy and flavorful. Very simple dish with not much components but executed nicely. Service was good, no complaints. Very attentive and friendly throughout whole service. read more

Good selection of appetizers as well as entrees and drinks, everything was delicious! Their calamari was perfectly cooked and paired well with the sauce provided. Their braised short rib pappadelli entree was fresh, cooked to perfection, the meat was soft. The Spaghettini Arrabiata with Grilled Shrimp was a bit spicy, which I guess expected, and very savory! The shrimp was perfectly semi burnt but not overcooked, soft and juicy! Their Steak with sweet potato entree was pretty big in size, and even though we really enjoyed it, we had to take leftovers home! We celebrated a birthday and their service was very friendly, brought out a dessert with a candle and we were able to sing happy birthday; very cute and appreciated - thank you! We went on a Sunday, right when they start dinner and the place was pretty calm, with people trickling in slowly. I really liked their interior decor as well, unexpected for an Italian restaurant but we loved it! read more

Came here for restaurant week and had a great time Pros: - Attentive and friendly waiters - Crostini app was delicious - texture and taste was on point! Definitely coming back for this dish - Center cut pork chop was so juicy and flavorful! - Gnocchi was so creamy and each bite tasted better than the last - The flourless chocolate cake is extremely dense but heated to the right temp so it was perfect Cons: - The bathroom was really hot (felt like the heat was on) and slippery - Indoor tables are placed really close together - Salmon fritters app was okay, texture was there but not a lot of flavor (used a lot of the chipotle aioli sauce) - Black squid ink linguini was a bit on the saltier end, didn't like the red sauce but a lot of seafood in the dish! - Wasn't a big fan of the warm bread pudding (texture threw me off) read more

They have visible RATS! My friend made a reservation for Saturday brunch. I open the door and a rat RAN out when I opened the door. Mind you its 2pm on a Saturday, bright outside. On a Sunday was looking for a bottomless brunch and found this place on Open Table. While we weren't able to make a reservation, we decided to walk over anyways. Just a short hop across five avenues...and four streets..made it to the destination ready for some drinks. We grabbed seats at the bar and had Conner as our bartender. Right away started with bottomless mimosas and it really was bottomless. Every time my partner's glass was empty mine was filled up again...so was never empty! Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the French toast with a side of bacon. The spaghetti was just ok, really bland. The French toast was delicious, didn't need syrup on every bite..but I've got a sweet tooth so the more the merrier. Bacon could have been more cooked for my taste. While sitting at the bar, I saw two bottles of Harlem Standard and inquired to where they were made. Thinking there could be a distillery in Harlem, Conner read the label and they are made in non-other than...Indiana?!?! Next time will plan a bit more in advance to grab a table, overall great experience. read more
