Food options could be expanded but [[HIGHLIGHT]]it's a great ambiance and service![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A bit expensive. Friendly staff as well.

I came here for a drink and dinner on St. Patrick's Day. I have come here before and I must say every time, I come it has gotten better. First it is always good an experience but the more I order, the more it gets better. This day I had a drink and shared a steak sandwich. The steak sandwich was amazing and I still think about it. The bread was a good texture, the steak was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was amazing and so was the sauce. This was one amazing sandwich and I look forward to going back and ordering it again.

Winnie Said has been a great addition to the neighborhood. The space is large but cozy. The staff are all nice. Food and drinks are great and creative! The Bivvy drink an S'mores martini are my favorites. They have vegetarian options which is a bonus! I get the vegan smash burger all the time. The back room is super cozy and great for events. Bathrooms are always clean and cute with their decor inside

The sandwich was crispy and bun with sauce and pickled cabbage was light. The crème fresh on the hash brown was a little underwhelming but the caviar made up a slight bit. The bartender prepared a pretty good old fashioned.

So happy I decided to try this place ! Had an amazing experience ! Food was absolutely delicious I'm still drooling over the burger . Staff was super friendly and attentive. Menu had great options as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Artwork on the walls stood out to me as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't wait to come back to Harlem just to try more food here.

Soft Opening!!! Woot Woot!!! I had to come and support a new local businesses love having a place walking distance from home. Two things that are a bonus and we will return- Jack Daniels and Cider Beers. So far so good. I will follow with an update. Cheers!

My husband and I decided to go to Winnie said for a low key anniversary date. Winnie's did not disappoint! I love a dim light setting. It is huge space there's a front room and then a back space. It was busy and bustling on that Friday evening. The servers were nice and attentive. The Winnie smash burger was BOMB! It's all i can think about lol. It came out hot, fresh and delicious. The fries were crispy. I had an espresso martini that was a play on s'mores. Delightful. Winnie said is my new favorite bar in the area. Reasonably priced and if you go to happy hour you'll get a deal on food and drinks. Definitely a great spot to go on a date or with your friends.

S'more Espresso Martini

I love this new spot uptown and I will absolutely be back. I hope to make this a regular spot. I had the s'more espresso martini which was a fun take on a popular cocktail. The food was great. I was also so excited to see they hade Great Lakes Brewery's Christmas Ale on tap! Fun vibes. It feels like being in a slightly irreverent cabin upstate. The servers are friendly too.

Smores Espresso Martini

Great addition to the neighborhood! Had an amazing time at the bar and the happy hour is great and diverse. The Falafel Sandwich is killer and I will be back for that within a week! Cocktails are phenomenal as well and the Smores Espresso Martini is very sweet and a dessert in a cup! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes are young, trendy, but also different than other places in manhattan.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wish this place best of luck and hope they do really really well!

Wings, Cesar Salad, Winnie Smash with Veg patty and egg
Jacob A.

Let me tell you what Winnie Said... We ordered a few cocktails, Trippin Balls, The Bivvy, and Morning Wood. The cesar salad was classic, nothing to rave about. The burger was delicious, perfect comfort food! The wings were juicy and butter and so much flavor. The ambiance is so cozy and cute! Like a cabin vibe. The music was also really good this night lol. I highly recommend. A great upgrade in the neighborhood for a chill night out!

Wings and Crispy Fries

These were so good! I was wary because not a lot of places have gluten free fries so I was skeptical. These fries were so good, and the wings were bangin as well. Crispy, flavorful, same with the fries. I have dietary restrictions and they adhered to all of them. I usually don't like blue cheese but I figure I'd try it and I don't regret it, it was actually very yummy! I'll definitely be coming back. My only downside is the restaurant is hard to reach via phone, I was trying for 3 days separate times to get an answer, no answer. ):

Enough space to feel like you're not on top of each other, but not really a place for huge parties. Probably great to do a buyout for birthdays, etc. The happy hour (food & drink) is affordable with a nice selection and runs a good length of time (5-7pm). The non-happy hour menu is the real gem though. A little pricey for the neighborhood, but the quality is on par with cocktail bars down in the villages, so well worth it. Service is quick without being overbearing, and casual without being lazy. Handsome bartender and server. There's a camaraderie in the room that invites you to slow down, connect, and truly experience both the conversation and the food. Everything feels considered. My best friend and I each ordered the prix fixe menu, and it was a journey from start to finish. I began with the Spicy Corn & Coconut Soup--honestly, unforgettable. The crispy shallots added just the right amount of texture against the velvety base, and each spoonful layered flavor in a way that felt both comforting and elevated. For my main, I had the kichuri, and Chef Alex Guzman absolutely shines here. He is a star--full stop. There's a clarity and confidence in his cooking that you can taste. The cilantro chutney was perfection, and the way the mint lingers alongside the spice... it's the kind of balance that only comes from someone who truly understands their craft. You can feel his care in every bite. I ended with the key lime pie, and all I can say is thank you. The whipped cream was fresh and airy, the lime zest bright without overpowering, and the crust tied everything together beautifully. It felt like a thoughtful, intentional close to an already incredible meal. I highly recommend starting with the guava mocktail, then pairing your main with the fig mocktail--both are perfectly crafted and complement the dishes so well. Also, sit at the bar. A lovely size restaurant with tables that aren't crowded on top of each other. The waitress was lovely; attentive without being overly so. There was a fried chicken & biscuit dish that sounded delicious and the staff kindly substituted with plant-based protein for me. Sadly, no one had room for dessert so we'll have to go back to try that! It feels like a coffee shop, bar, café, lounge and pre-party stop all at once. The bar staff were "nightclub friendly", they had party energy that this place doesn't warrant. They'd make fun hosts for a great party. The space itself is confusing in an interesting way. It's cold from the tiles and exposed pipes, yet warm from the wooden walls and historic decorative figures. Maybe the idea is that you show up with your group and shape the experience into whatever you want it to be. Still, I'm of the opinion that it's a shared effort. If I'm coming out and spending my money, I deserve an experience. Let me know who you are, and I can decide if you pass my vibe check. Harlem Hops is an African American owned and operated beer bar offering beer from local breweries…read moreand other breweries where the owner seeks and hunts. This is a place to find rare beer not ordinarily seen elsewhere. This was my first visit and I must have walked past Harlem Hops innumerable times along Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard in Harlem. This time I caught myself walking past on a beautiful Saturday with a five second delay and turned around and walked into Harlem Hops. Initially I thought I'll have a beer and keep it moving. I ordered a canned Hefeweizen, Deep Fried Highlighter Hefeweizen. Yep, that's the name and it was great. It supposed to have a banana note, but that was barely detectable. The clove note was there and it rode the top of this summer Hefeweizen nicely. Given this is one of the canned beers, they may have this anytime. Then I had American Pale Ale on tap, another great choice for a summer day: crisp, refreshing, cloudy light amber in color and unfiltered reminding you of a Hefeweizen. It has a slight citrus fruity flavor to my palate. There are sixteen taps. The taps change with the kegs, the season and what the owner sources from local breweries and beyond. Meanwhile, I'm having good conversations with folks who are regulars and the woman behind the bar, giving great recommendations. I forget the woman's name, but she is great. You can sample whatever they have on tap. She is good at understanding your taste profile and making recs. They also have a limited food menu. There is a backyard patio or garden and one can sit outside in front on the sidewalk. The dark interior is nice and cool on a summer day. The bathroom was clean as well. Four stars!
