I love this place. I have eaten so many pieces from here. I can't even count. Food is amazing. The service is top-notch. The ambience is always clean. I love it. I definitely recommend it. Sorry, I don't have any pictures. I always eat it quickly. Lol read more

Great and kind service - I put in an order for a plain pie & an order of mild chicken wings. Then my niece decides she wants bacon on her 2 slices and they said ok. Pizza was generous with cheese and sauce. The sauce for me needed more flavor, however my nieced loved it & they were generous with her bacon. The chicken wings were fried to perfection - a little crispy on the outside and juicy inside. These were not hormone chicken wings - they were small and satisfying. Order 2 servings. The shop was clean, near the train station and entrance to the Hutch (if you're hungry b4 gettong into traffick). If you're in the Country Club neighborhood stop by Frank's. It started pouring rain, so I forgot the photo. read more

We were passing through on our way to Boston. Needed a break after sitting in Cross Bronx traffic. Reviews brought us here. This is one hell of a slice. The sauce shines and brings a real zest to the pizza. I love it when the sauce sings like that. Tried a chicken calzone as well and had no complaints. The wife loved her Grandma slice. I tasted it and the strength of the toppings really add something special to it. This is a neighborhood gem worth pulling off of 95 for. read more

Decided to take a walk and found this Pizza place. Honestly, it tasted pretty great. Very nice owner and everyone was friendly. The pizza has a more acidic sauce flavor, which I prefer over the typical sweet sauce present in other pizza places. Great atmosphere too, reminded me of pizza shops I used to visit as a child. read more

Growing up around them and having their food on pizza night is a cherished memory. The pizza continues to be amazing and while I mostly order these grandma pizzas, I do get their calzones, other pizzas with various toppings. I do love how soft their garlic knots are and especially when I get them with sauce and cheese. I'm actually due for another order soon! read more

The food is so great and very good. I want to come back every single day and good server service.

Food was great as always. I stop in for a grandma and cheese pie when visiting family in town.

BEST NY PIZZA! Frank's pizza is pricey but worth it. From the craftsman ship, to the taste, this pizza tasted just as good as it looks. We had the Gran Mama Pizza and the Focaccia Sicilian style pizza which were both fantastic. Service was fast, and pizza came in perfect condition. I can't wait to try another pizza because I'm certain the others are great as well. read more

Great pizza and very friendly I believe it's under new ownership now. I'm pleased the food is very good

Huge delicious slices, better by the slice than a pie. The pie was $44! Would've just got 4 slices called it. Day. But I will most definitely be going back. Oh and cash only. Old school no number no pre order. Walking and wait read more

How can i forget about this treasure here? Frank's is a well known staple in the BX for their Grandma's pizza. Let me tell you, I am from Jersey and when I had my first Grandma's slice, I fell in love with the BX. The dough, the sauce, the fresh mozzarella all becomes one and they all compliment each other on a whole nother level. I can literally sit here and eat the entire pie by myself and die happy. There's no other Grandmas pizza made like Frank's. I've also tried their tortellini soup and man. It was so delicious. This is something I will have a heavy craving for during the cold weather. Although the price tag on the soup is around $8 which is pretty hefty, it was delicious and it came with a fresh piece of bread. I believe everything is delicious here but everyone raves about the Grandmas pizza and tortellini soup for a good reason. read more

looking for a quick lunch in the area. Got the grandma slice and veggie slice and can soda for $10. both slices were really tasty but i think i liked the GM slice a bit more. the cheese, amazing. tomato sauce, fresh, not too salty. The dough, great texture and chewiness. they also have some tables/seats outside, so use 'em before it gets too cold! i'll hopefully come back soon. highly recommend! read more

Grandma pie is amazing! Super thin and tasty. Everyone should try it. And service is super quick too.

I have a love affair with Bronx pizza and this pizzeria won't let me go. Everything down to the tiramisu is delectable. My cons: Meat sauce has cream and they're stingy on the onions and peppers pizza. read more

Food is amazing and quick delivery, staff is very professional and cordial, place is very clean and the pizza is very fresh

I notice this pizza joint after dropping off a friend who has relatives in the country club section of the Bronx and decided to run in a order , grab and go while eating in the car. Typical decor style old school pizza shop with extensive menu of pizzas, calzones , heroes , soups , pasta dishes , entrees , desserts , apps , etc. I am old school as well when it comes to pizza so it's a SILICIAN and a slice of regular pizza with a 20z of diet coke and that's all she wrote . Guys behind the counter are moving quick as I notice many takeout and delivery orders going out and that's cool as my grub was ready in 5 minutes and bagged up nice and neat .ok SILICIAN gets 2 half stars and slice gets 4 stars as SILICIAN was a little dry on the cheese side but regular slice was very good overall .I should have ordered a few tortellini soups for later but stupid me did not and now I am in the mood for soup .overall giving this pizza joint 3.5 stars this time and if my friend needs a ride to this part of the Bronx and decided not to invite me to his relatives home again , then it's another visit to Frank's pizza for me. read more

A BRONX GEM! I've been coming to franks since I was a little girl. My father grew up in the neighborhood and franks has been a staple of his childhood, and he passed it on to me. Franks is home of the large slice! The pizza is of great taste and obviously size lol. It's probably one of my favorite pizza spots within the 5 boroughs. The price of the large has gone up over the years which is understandable, the large slice is priced at $4. If you are ever in the area definitely pick up a franks slice :) read more

I first learned of Frank's Pizzeria while dining at Da Franco & Tony's next door - they're owned by the same family (the pizzeria actually came first). I decided to change up my pizza game tonight and grab dinner from them. Their regular pies are quite good - the crust is thin and they incorporate the toppings into the cheese rather than let them sit on top. However, what I believe makes Frank's stand out from other Bronx pizzerias is their grandma pies - think the shape and size of a Sicilian but super super thin. It's crispy, flavorful, and totally out of this world. I've had the regular and spinach and both were amazing - that alone will make me come back again and again. They're in a convenient spot right off the Hutch and the 6 train so it's easy access for me. I would definitely put this in the category of good Bronx pizza. read more

First time visiting, used eat24 with the $2 weekend coupon and ordered the Grandma's Pizza with mozzarella and spinach. Needless to say it's exactly what it says it is! Pizza the way Grandma made, fresh ingredients crispy crust no frills. The spinach is like a fresh pesto and the sauce is delicate doesn't over power the spinach or cheese. For $17.95 you get 9 squares. Perfect for 2 or 3 very hungry people. Delicious! Happy Yelping! read more

I grew up in White Plains and Westchester in general and family is from Morris Park and Throggs Neck, so I grew up always going to pizza places like Emilio's, Captain's, and getting fresh cut chicken cutlets from Scottie's Meat Market. I never knew about Frank's though. I saw an Instagram ad for them a little while back and glad that I ended up trying them. Their grandma slice is delicious. The sauce is nice and tasty, doesn't taste like restaurant depot prepackaged sauce (even if it is), and the cheese and basil (I think?) on top with the square thin crust bottom just pulls the whole slice together in an excellent way. It's a pretty-looking slice too, pleasing aesthetically. read more

Had some family over for dinner and decided to order from here as we've done before. However, the Shrimp Scampi arrived small, rubbery and overall quality was pretty disgusting. When I called they basically said there was nothing they could do since we had opened the container. Not replace it nor our $$ back. The picture is exactly what it looked and tasted like TRASH. Not sure how to review this one although the crust was tasty it was more like bready although I did like it. The sauce stinked like it was just thrown on strait from a can with no seasoning . The cheese was good must have bee grande thank god for them because the toppings were the cheapest shi I have ever tried im my life that's including digiorno. And they have the ballls to charge 520 a slice read more

They are known for their thin ny slice with right amount of cheese and thin crust and the sauce omg u want to lick the plate What did I get just now a small thick crust pizza and not their signature sauce Please get old cook back This slice was horrible I drove 20 min for this slice Purchase made 1-30-22 Please go back to old recipe read more

This has been one of my go to pizza spots for over 8 years. They are always consistent and even remember their customers. They have the best spinach roll you'll ever find and their chicken roll is right behind it. Their pizza is classic, which always hits the spot. The crust isn't too thick and isn't too thin and the sauce and cheese ratio is on point. If you don't want a thicker slice go for the Sicilian, it's the best when it's fresh out of the oven! Definitely a stand out pizza place in a sea of them. read more
