I was looking for pizza in Yonkers and Yelp led me to this place. Plain slices are $2.75 and a large, oversized pie is a well-priced $16. This "pizza joint" looks "no frills" and unassuming but the pizza is actually quite good. Slices are huge with a thick, pillowy doughy crust, slightly sweet sauce and a mound of mozzarella cheese. Fresh, flavorful and filling! One slice is the volume of two slices at many other pizzerias. The pizza guy was fast and friendly. I give it 4.25 stars, rounding up here. Street parking available. Apple Pay accepted.

    Fresh Sicilian pizza pie

Not one to complain tbh but all i asked for was a margherita and this is what i got. They charged me 20$, the pricing was not even in the menu. I tried to explain to the pizza guy that a margherita should come with fresh basil and fresh mozzarella. He told me that he doesn't have basil but instead a garlic seasoning that made the whole pizza stink, but he insisted the mozza was fresh at the point that he showed me the container and it was a block of mozza sliced, basically not fresh.. i wouldn't mind paying 20$ for a good medium margherita but it's a shame charging ppl this much for a so called one.. it's sad

I came here for the 3nd time in 2 weeks from Izzy, NJ. My girlfriend is in town, so I figured I'd go all out and order a bit of everything. Well, $22 later and we're stuffed and delighted and on top of that we have some serious leftovers! It was totally worth it. The toppings are HUGE, the crust is tasty, the sauce is great. Its just an awesome pizza place, hands down. When I move into town this coming Winter, you bet this is gonna be my pizza place of choice! And just as an added note here, if you haven't tried the Spinach pizza or the Sicilian pizza...you MUST do so on your next visit, they are both incredible in their own ways! Happy eats! - Lafayette S.

Simply pizza with tasty crust and greasy, gooey cheese-what more can you ask for? $2.75 a slice for cheese, which I recommend.

Ask the Community - Roma II Pizza

Was this location formerly Tony's Pizza in the 1980s?

Sorry Blake I don’t know the answer to that but I’m sure the owner Frank would be happy to tell you. I’ve only been going to Roma ll since the early 2000’s. I was originally a Bronx boy that moved to Jersey who has spent only the last 20 years… Read more

I originally rated them one star with the review below. However I took them up on their offer to…read moremake things right and ordered another pizza along with a Caesar salad and a rigatoni bolognese. The pizza was good. 6.5 out of 10. The rigatoni was tasty but the pasta was overcooked. Maybe that's a function of getting pasta delivered where it keeps cooking on the way... I like how they did the Caesar. Shaved parmigiana with the (very good) dressing on the side. All in all, the pizza roll and the Caesar salad were the best things we had. The pizza was good, not great (crust was a little soft. Cheese was ok. Super light on the sauce). I wouldn't get the pasta to go - maybe try again for eat-in. The cheesecake piece was insultingly small. Original 1 star rating: AVOID!!!!!!!!! I ordered online and had the thin crust marinara and basil pizza and I added extra toppings on half. I also ordered a pizza roll with chicken and a piece of cheesecake. THE PIZZA HAD NO CHEESE!!! (Picture attached). And when I called to ask about it, they said that's by design. You would think if they were selling a pizza with no cheese (for a higher price than the regular pizza), it would say "NO CHEESE". Also, they put toppings on the whole pizza. So dinner with my kids (who only eat cheese pizza) was ruined. I do want to point out that the pizza roll was very good. However, the cheesecake piece was tiny (picture attached). After checking the menu to confirm that it doesn't say "no cheese", I called back and they said "thanks for the feedback". I gave them two chances to make it right. After a long day of travel and looking forward to a good slice of NY Pizza, this was a huge letdown. UPDATE: They called me this morning to apologize. They thought they had taken that menu item down exactly because of this kind of confusion over the cheese but a recent systems update seems to have inadvertently added it back to their online menu without the proper explanation. They have offered me a free pizza to make this right. The explanation and the offer seem reasonable and genuine. I will give them another shot.

We by chance , also bumped Into my Sister in Law who was also dining at the restaurant tonight. She grew up in the area and wanted to return to her roots for a delicious home style, cooked meal. She was then off to the church nearby for a Christmas celebration and or show. We ordered garlic bread with cheese for an appetizer along with Baked whole clams Oreganata. We also received delicious warm toasted Italian bread and butter. The entrees were : A large pepperoni pizza, Fettuccine Alfredo, Veal Sorrentino ( 4 large pieces) with steamed Spinach. MmMm Mm so so good! Also I ordered a half order of Rigatoni with butter and grated cheese. My son ordered a beer, the husband and I , two glasses of Chianti , my favorite and a Diet Coke. The portions were the largest I have ever seen. The value is truly proportionate to the quality And taste of the food this restaurant serves. Gina , as always and the waitress were both warm and gracious hostesses and servers as well and were quite attentive as always. They both greeted my family warmly as well when we arrived at 700 PM. The table, as a side note, was in the corner as I requested and beautifully arranged with Christmas decor around it on the window sill. No room for desert!!! Their desert menu though was quite tempting !! Next time.!!! Happy dining! A joyous holiday season to all; and a Happy and healthy New Year.
