Wow! What an amazing pizza place! We were looking for some place to order takeout from and enjoy a nice movie night. We saw the pizza place. It was close by and the food was incredible! The pizza with some of the best pizza I've had in the area. It was perfect. It was an overly oily, and the sauce was amazing.!!! I'm also a mozzarella stick connoisseur and these were some very good mozzarella sticks and the marinara was great. A good bang for your buck.!! The chicken tenders and fries were also very good and I would highly recommend you trying all of these items. The next time you stop by! They were busy and delivery was gonna take a little longer so we just ended up driving and stopping by. The restaurant store is very cute and small has a bunch of seats and has a great menu to select from.. The staff was very family and to get our order, handed off to us as quickly as possible. We ended up ordering this two days in a row and will be happy to stop by every chance we have. Solid 10/10 place! read more

The pizza here is absolutely to die for, the service was great, and it feels like a very authentic NY pizza shop in there. Lot of love captured in those four walls and you can see it in the decor and the laissez-faire attitude from the workers when I came in looking super bummy. Ordered delivery on Slice app tonight. Holy guacamole this place is delicious. Not sure why we waited so long! Husband LOVED the clam pie with bacon added. I loved the Late Night Grandma pie (next time I'll ask east on the onion but was easy enough to take it off). Stopped SP II on our way back from a nostalgic trip to New Rochelle Hospital Medical Center (former name) and we decided to stop by for a light lunch! We were greeted by Salvatore with a classic NY greeting "How you doin?", Sal was very helpful and warm and made us feel right at home with his warm and infectious smile! We ordered the Vegetable and Pepperoni Slices and I had a Chicken Marsala Calzone and OMG there was an Orchestra playing a full blown symphony on our taste buds! Full disclosure...the pizza isn't bad... nothing stellar but definitely decent. The issue is Sal...being rude and aggressive towards customers. Literally watched him in action being aggressive towards a customer and when he was called out for it he started to snap at his staff and then retreated to hide in the kitchen when said customer asked him nicely to step to the side and have a private conversation about the matter. Oh...and there was another time my wife was trying to place a catering order for a birthday party...after calling multiple times and always being told to call back because they were too busy to take an order. Really...too busy 3 or 4 times to take a large order? Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

Yummy yummy in my tummy . I know most people are like me where we are very picky with our pizza (being from NY you have to be) .. I was a bit skeptical when we first ordered from there , new places scared me . But I was pleasantly surprised. The crust had this perfect hard exterior, soft interior I enjoy, the sauce was not overly acidic and the cheese was just enough. The standard pies of pepperoni, plain and mushroom are just ok. Now, I think salad pizza is an abomination, however, if u are going to have it, have it here. Why? The timing is horrible. Constantly told 30-40 minutes for pick up. Tonight took 1 hour and 15 minutes for order to be ready. This is always the issue. I order for pick up to cut out time, and yet I would hate to see the delivery times, must be 2 hours. To get a mediocre pizza. The original Sal's is the way to go, better food and ready when they tell you it will be. This place needs a serious attitude check. The main worker is consistently rude, every time I have been in here. After explaining that I want my order to go when I placed it at the counter, the man asked me two more times if I wanted it to go. After I answered yes, the worker snarked under his breath that it would be wonderful if people could hear, then proceeded to ask me again if I wanted my food to go. Funny to think it's the worker that's hard of hearing, not me. EVERY time I walk in here, the same worker (he's the main guy working usually/perhaps the owner) is making rude and pushy comments to customers. Took family for a late lunch on a Wednesday afternoon when visiting NY in May. Not exactly rush hour. The main guy was an absolute ahole from the moment we walked in. We smiled anyway, politely ordered and sat and waited, and waited some more for a friggin' pizza with two other people waiting in the place. he's too busy shootin' his mouth with the other chooch behind the counter and trying to be as funny (obnoxious) as possible...he calls us and...he made the wrong pizza! We told him but didn't argue since we were starving, we took it to our table and bought a bunch more slices since the pizza he gave us was swimming in oil. His pizza was not worth a dime, but we ate it since we were hungry and had to get back on the road. We did not complain to him and he of course still digging at us for unknown reasons. To really ace our experience, the ahole tries to over charge us, not once, but TWICE. Honestly, his pizza was so substandard and there's some nasty pizza out there in the world. Shame on me, I should have found any other pizza joint on North Ave. I'm writing this review since the experience was so unpleasant and so uncalled for. I work nearby, so this is where we go to pick up pizza for lunch if it's not too busy at work. The pizza here is great! Freshly made and the menu changes daily, so you can try a different slice everyday. It's definitely got the kind of atmosphere you'd expect from an Italian American pizzeria; a guy working dough behind the counter, that strong Italian American accent, and what sounds like an Italian power ballad coming from the speakers. The special slices are a little pricey, but they're pretty big and definitely worth it. This isn't your typical cheapo corner pizza delivery, but that's not what you're looking for when you come to this place. Side note: Their pizza may not be a good matchup for you. The pizza here is the crunchy thin kind, not the soft fluffy floppy kind you get at delivery chains like Papa John's (which I do love, don't get me wrong, but sometimes I want something different). It's pretty much gourmet pizza, so I'm not sure I would recommend calling for delivery. We at work usually just walk right over. read more

Since this Pizzeria has opened, it has easily jumped to my favorite pizzeria in New Rochelle hands down! It's amazing to me how good this pizza is compared to it's nearest competitor, Deanna's. I've lived on this side of New Rochelle for the majority of my adult life to-date and have always been amazed at how bad Deanna's was yet there was absolutely no competition in the area. I've gone to Quaker Ridge Pizzeria with my girlfriend and friends numerous times and we've never been unsatisfied. You can easily see the care they put into each pie just by looking at it. My favorite pie/slice is the Buffalo Chicken which is made with large pieces of chicken AND has blue cheese dressing and SLICES of celery right on the pizza! Most people would say that this is more of a Gourmet pizza shop and I can agree with that.
