Stopped in for lunch on Friday and had a delightful experience. Cristin took care of us and she was fantastic. She suggested the scallops as an appetizer and they were delicious! Done like a Rockefeller style and the mixture on top of the bay scallop was so delicious! For lunch, my husband and I both had that mahi sandwich lunch special which was excellent. Great service, food came out fresh and fast and can't beat the views. Definitely recommend! Also, they fry their fries in beef tallow so no seed oils. They were crisp and delicious!

5 years later and they're still creating amazing, fresh, and delicious cuisine! Staff is professional and friendly. Quick service and a clean, almost festive atmosphere. Everyone's enjoying their meals, company, and the experience. Now that we live here, we'll be regulars for sure!

Our server Stacy was incredible. She made suggestions from the menu which were fantastic. We got fried green tomatoes with goat cheese, broiled seafood platter (shrimp, scallops, and flounder) with cheesy grits and seasonal vegetables. Food came out quickly and was warm and delicious! Stacy did not let our drinks go empty nor did she let us wait for anything. Had a fantastic experience.

We stopped into St. Augustine Fish Company for a drink and something light to eat, and I'll be honest, this one started out looking like a three-star review. We began with a bowl of Rick's All Day Seafood Soup. It was fine. Just fine. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing that had me ready to start writing poetry about seafood soup either. The decor also struck me as pretty average. So, in my mind, three stars seemed about right. Then my wife got involved. She ordered the beet salad, and apparently I had failed to consider the possibility that the meal could improve dramatically once her food arrived. The beets were large, flavorful, and genuinely delicious. The feta added exactly the kind of salty, creamy pop that took the salad from "healthy choice" to "hey, this is actually really good." At this point, my wife reminded me that I needed to judge the entire experience and not just the bowl of soup I had chosen. And, as usual, she won. So, four stars it is. The seafood soup was average, and the atmosphere didn't exactly knock us over, but that beet salad was exceptional enough to change the final score. Sometimes the wife has the better Yelp review. This was one of those times.

Easy valet parking, a good idea to make a reservation. Food was good, drinks were good, server was good. Restaurant was very loud and crowded. We would return.

The *fried alligator tail* was crispy outside, tender and chewy inside - no gamey taste at all, like a mix of chicken and fish. Oysters* were super fresh and briny, served on ice with lemon. Sweet and clean. Crab cake* was the star - loaded with real lump crab meat, not filler, crispy outside and juicy inside.

I had been referred here by a colleague who comes to St. Augustine annually. St Augustine Fish Camp is one of his go to spots. It did not disappoint. Servers were good and the food was delicious. We got a gator tail bites appetizer and it was so good with the dipping sauce. Excellent choice, our main course was the pork chop with parsley potatoes and fries. My wife and I shared a meal and it was a lot to eat. Very good tasting food.

We came here for my birthday dinner with my parents. We had a reservation and when we checked in we were taken back to our table. Our server was super nice and when I asked about a specific pillar menu item not showing up on the menu, he said he'd check to see if he could accommodate my request (cod with a brown butter sauce and grits). He went back to check and they could, so I knew what I was getting. We started with the fish bites which were pan fried and over crispy potato straws. They were delicious! Next our meals came out. I loved my cod with the brown butter sauce and the grits. Delicious. My dad had the same thing and loved it, my mom Loved her oyster and clams dish, my son loved his chicken fingers and fries and my husband enjoyed his fish sandwich. We'll be back!

Grouper over goat cheese and corn grits

Happy to get a reservation at my "must eat at" restaurant. We had an 8pm and called to check if we could come in earlier and the delightful Emily said yes your table is ready! After some confusion we asked for the high top in the bar area and were seated promptly. Emily was wonderful checking on us and Don our server bartender kept up the hospitality. I had already decided based on menu and reviews what I would have and the octopus and bean salad starter was a must! Tender octopus, savory dressing and beans went well with our cocktails. The entree for me without hesitation was the grouper over goat cheese grits with corn. Oh my! Crispy crust flaky moist fish. My husband had an amazingly huge pork chop with a maple bourbon bacon sauce with vegetables and potatoes which was perfectly cooked. Very busy place with an army of servers and noise level high but we didn't mind. Great place great staff great food.

In town for a few days with my grandkids. Wanted some fresh seafood so decided on Fish Camp. Excellent food. I had peel and eat shrimp. Natalie, the server said my grandson could do the seafood boil for 2 for just 1 so he got that and really liked it. Granddaughter had chicken tenders (yea, goes to a seafood place and gets chicken) but asked for honey mustard. Natalie said they didn't have it but she could make it for her. That was great service. And granddaughter said it was really good too.

Nice ambiance--very casual with a great view. Semi-off the beaten path (from the downtown historic district) but worth the very short ride. Also, compared to our other dinners during our vacation this was an excellent price point. Clam chowder was good. Tuna was good but the entree as a whole left something to be desired (it was really just the tuna and some greens and half an avocado, not very filling). Star of the show was the grouper and the goat cheese grits, absolutely delicious and came out hot and fresh. Would come back just for this dish.

Super solid spot for good seafood dishes! Got the: - clam chowder: sooo good & flavorful, a bit potato heavy but i didn't mind it - crab chowder: full of crab, great flavor, very rich - oysters: nice & plump - gator bites: flavorful & chewy with datil sauce - fries in beef tallow: soooooo dang good - shrimp & grits: grits were nice & cheesy with juicy shrimp - blackened seafood platter: nice way to try a variety of seafood, but the fish & shrimp were overcooked and the potatoes and veggies were under seasoned our server alexa was amazing, overall the dinner was a bit pricey tho - might try other seafood spots before coming back

Now that we've officially moved here, we've been back about three more times, and somehow I love it more every time. If you enjoy seafood and New Orleans-style food, this is definitely a place to put on your St. Augustine list! The service has always been good, the drinks are great, and yes, there's usually a wait, but honestly, it goes by pretty quickly. We typically grab a drink and hang outside while we wait for our buzzer to go off, which makes the wait feel much more enjoyable. I have a few favorites here that I find myself coming back to: Redfish Alexandria, absolutely delicious and one of my favorites. Andouille Crusted Grouper , another standout if you're looking for something flavorful and seafood-focused. My first choice now that the low country pasta isn't available Crab Cakes, always a good choice for appetizer. Low Country Pasta, this was a special during their Mardi Gras menu, and I was SO SAD to find out it wasn't a regular menu item because I would order this all the time! My first choice And please save room for dessert because the fried Oreos are a MUST-TRY! For drinks, you really can't go wrong, we've had a few of their signature drinks, but the Cucumber Martini was one of my favorites. Refreshing, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering! The restrooms are conveniently located both upstairs and downstairs. Parking in this part of St. Augustine can be a little difficult, but that's pretty typical for the area and definitely wouldn't stop me from coming here. Overall, Harry's has become one of those places we're happy to keep coming back to. Great food, fun atmosphere, good drinks, and plenty of New Orleans-inspired seafood dishes to choose from. Definitely worth checking out when you're visiting St. Augustine!

I had mentioned two guests had a birthday in my reservation and they put two birthday notecards on the table, this was a lovely touch. The food was incredible. I highly recommend the scallop toast (we ordered it a second time because it was so good!) and bread service for starter. The table really liked the empanadas, I was not a huge fan (but, I am from Miami so my empanada taste buds are different LOL). The Rockefeller Snapper was incredible. Huge piece of yellowtail and just an overall unique dish. The Scallop Cavatelli had to have been one of the best seafood dishes I have ever had. It was rich and decadent. I am not sure if they hand roll the pasta in house, but the pasta tasted so fresh. The table had some espresso martinis to end the night and I had a decaf French press coffee (I think he said French press). It was all delicious. Highly highly recommend.

From bow to stern (nautical theme here) this was just a bad experience across the board! Our waiter had zero personality and acted as if he really didn't want to be there, the food was bad, and the cost was far more than the value provided. A rainy Sunday night and not very crowded - maybe 4 - 5 tables, but somehow our food managed to get lost in the kitchen and we waited way too long for food that was (in my case) completely inedible. My wife ordered the fresh catch halibut dinner grilled, and I ordered a blackened grouper sandwich. Both entrees were heavily salted; my wife tried to wipe the seasoning off her filet, which was at least decent sized. My sandwich contained the thinnest, saltiest piece of fish I'd ever been served, and I only managed a couple bites before giving up. My wife's filet wasn't fully cooked, and since we weren't eating sushi-grade fish, my wife was concerned about that. When she told our waiter he barely glanced at her plate and his response was "That's cooked. Some people are just finicky about the texture." "Finicky??" Are you sh**ing me?? How about saying "I'm sorry, would you like me to have it cooked more?" She also pointed at my sandwich and said that it was so salty I couldn't eat it, and all he said was "I'll be back." At least he didn't tell me I was being "finicky". The manager came over shortly after and explained that our server told him we weren't pleased with our meal. My wife explained the issues and his response "Too salty? I know who that is. One of our guys over-salts a lot. I'll talk to him." He then apologized and offered to get us something else, but I declined and said I was done. He vaguely pointed at our food and said he would "discount it". While we waited for the bill my wife took what was left of her fish to the house cat sitting on the patio, and the cat wouldn't even eat it! I'm sorry Mr manager, but if you know that one of your employees has issues with preparing food correctly... either educate them or replace them! Don't apologize and admit you're aware of bad food coming out of your kitchen! And then the topper - our bill came and a whopping $13.50 was discounted from almost $90! He didn't even take off the full cost of my sandwich which was still sitting on my plate! We usually try to give benefit of the doubt to restaurants, but this experience was bad enough that we both agreed we will NOT return. This is a prime example of why zero stars should be allowed!

Wouldn't get it again for the price. - Blackened Grouper (MP - $46): it came with a curry coconut rice with plantains and pickled onions. Honestly, I don't like curry but it was pretty good. Not too heavy in tumeric flavor and the plantains made it sweet. I think I preferred the dish without the curry, as a personal preference, but it was still pretty delicious. The blackened grouper had lots of spices and flavor. - Herb-Crusted Grouper (MP - $46): traded the sides for hush puppies and coconut rice. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The fish was glistening and fresh. Long waits are common for this spot. The interior is the old Ice Plant so it has great character. Not super large so limited dining spots within. Very high ceilings and though there were plenty of diners, it was overly loud. Great spot to enjoy the company you are with! Our server was top notch, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly but not trying to monopolize our table talk. We started with Cocktails which were all great. I went classic Old Fashioned, presentation AND taste were on point. We split the Crab Beignets order of 4. The breading on them was light and fluffy, the Crab tasty and they were cooked appropriately, no burns or underdone spots. For our main course, we elected to split 2 of the specials of the day so they may not be there when you go, but judging by the quality of the specials, any dish would be great. We had the Caesar Salad (which is like calling the Queen Mary2 a "boat"!). It is next level, 7 minute eggs, homemade croutons, Anchovie forward, all good! We also split an order of Shrimp Cake Sliders. These were huge, and the slaw that accompanied was the perfect match to the shrimp without overwhelming them. For dessert we settled on the Pineapple cake which also had coconut and all kinds of wonderful flavors going on! A really outstanding meal from beginning to end!

The Ice Plant location was historically St. Augustine's first power and ice complex. Now the building has been revitalized and has The Ice Plant and The St. Augustine Distillery. The St. Augustine Distillery is connected to The Ice Plant and is a great tour to check out right before heading to grab food at the restaurant. There are a variety of guided and self-guided tours. My spouse and I checked out the self-guided tour right before we grabbed dinner at The Ice Plant. The tour isn't particularly long but was filled with information. After the tour, we headed upstairs to the restaurant. The restaurant feels really spacious with its super tall ceilings. There was lots to look at reminding us of the previous use of the building. We ordered the hand cut fries, strawberry and beet salad, and the gochujang marinated pork chop. I also ordered a few of their drinks, each one featuring different types of ice to fit the drink. Honestly all the food and the drinks were so good, but the easy standout of the night for both my spouse and I were the pork chops. These might have been the best pork chops I've ever had in my life. The pork chops were incredibly tender and juicy, not dry at all. I was expecting it to be a little dry, as I feel like pork chop can sometimes get overcooked, but no. These were so juicy and tender. I asked our server how the pork chop was cooked. Our server said that the pork chops were cooked sous vide, which makes a lot of sense as to how they were so tender. I've already told my spouse if we are in the St. Augustine area again, I would make a special trip just to get these pork chops again, they were that good. I really enjoyed this restaurant. This was my favorite spot we checked out in the St. Augustine area, if you are ever passing by the area, check The Ice Plant out!
