August 17, 2013 Saturday - breakfast 8:00 AM 2 adults Atmosphere - 5 star Food - 5 stars Service - 5 stars Background - This location has been open for a while, and I have not made over here yet. The wife had a class at NNCC this morning so we went to breakfast together. Atmosphere - Love the quirky little art. My favorite was the huge Swatch, yeah I am a kid of the 80's, and I still wear them today, every day, just a more adult flare to them, metal instead of plastic. Food Drinks - Coffee, with cream and sugar that was at the table. They have artificial sweater but you need to ask. Appetizer - skipped this as it is breakfast. My Main Course - I went with of my favorites, simple but hardy, Biscuits and Gravy. The biscuits were moist and fresh, not the typical left over style being hidden by the gravy. Every bite of the gravy had sausage crumble in it, and you cannot miss the pepper in the gravy. Dessert - so stuffed. Service - A team worked for us, very friendly. Warm place and the staff add to the warmth. Future - Of course. read more

I always enjoy my time at Squeeze Inn. I have been to the South Reno location and the Sparks location. Both have always had very friendly service and get the food out in a timely matter! Normally when I go there I like to try different things because they are so well known for their Omelets. I have tried their eggs Benedict, redneck breakfast, french toast, and my favorite is the Hawaiian omelet which has cream cheese, jalapenos, pineapples and ham! SOO good! If you go there on the weekends (or week days) you can get a mimosa or bloody marry and if you have another friend do it as well, you get a discount! Its great! And, not to mention, they pour very great amounts of champagne in their mimosas! You can also add cranberry juice to them with his always delicious. They also have a very funky and fun atmosphere! There is stuff all over the walls, names, decor, anything you can think of! If you want a good breakfast with a good time, go here! read more

Squeeze In - Yummmm my favorite Hawaiian omelette! Pineapples, cream cheese, ham and jalapeño!! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Sparks, Nevada

We come to Squeeze a few times a year, for birthdays mostly, but sometimes for their early bird specials (best value). Squeeze In claims to have the best omelettes on the planet, it says so right on their menu, and a couple of us were in the mood for an omelet. I ordered the Steve's Mighty Aztec - Spanish chorizo, tomatoes, red bell peppers, jalapeños and Monterey Jack cheese, served with a side of green salsa, spuds with tomatoe/pesto sauce for $14.49. The best part of the dish was the flavor of the salsa and the pest sauce on the spuds. There was a lack of chorizo and the quantity that I did have was lacking in flavor, almost as if the paste was being used. There was plenty of the other ingredients, like the yummy cheese! However, there are much better testing omelettes in town at a better value! Without the pesto sauce, the spuds are dry and also lack flavor. Emily ordered the Kilimanjaro Ken - A grilled sandwich with bacon, avocado, spinach and Monterey Jack cheese, side of fries for $10.99 The sandwich seemed more like a spinach sandwich with back and avocado added. Not much flavor here! The fries were hard, dry and lacked flavor as well. This was the worse dish of the three. Courtney ordered the Gare Babe's Denver - You know...ham, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and cheddar cheese, spuds with tomatoe/pesto sauce for $12.99 The addition of the tomatoes were refreshing, but again the star of the plate was the pesto sauce on the dry and bland spuds. At 12.99 this is not a good value. Food - 3 Service -3 Value - 2 read more

Delicious breakfast food and nice environment. Easy to get to and there's plenty of parking around the building

I am picky about my pancakes. I know a good pancake when I first cut into it. A good pancake doesn't crumble. A good pancake has a bit of a chew to it, kinda like a nice slice of bread. It takes a little extra work when you make a pancake properly. The Squeeze Inn makes the best pancakes that I have had since the last 45 years that I have lived in Reno. My bacon was crisp, my over easy eggs were perfect. I wish that I could have them make me breakfast every day. read more

We stopped in here for breakfast this morning. My husband had their traditional eggs Benedict with Home fries. I had bacon with the home fries. We found the home fries to be rather dried up and not that tasty. I did joy a champagne hibiscus drink with champagne and cranberry juice, Our waitress Maggie was very friendly and very helpful with ordering. We had a $10 off coupon there for my husband donating blood a while back which was very nice the Squeezin offers that. read more

I was a little let down by this location since my experience at the location in Reno was so amazing. Customer service was really great. All of the servers were very nice and service was prompt. The hostess at the door greeted and seated us immediately. The food looked very delicious, but sadly was very bland. My boyfriend ordered biscuits and gravy which he said tasted like it came from a package and his side of sausages tastes frozen and were undercooked. I ordered the bacon Benny that came with a side of potatoes. Even when I added salt and pepper, my food still tasted bland and was actually a little cold. I also got a glass of orange juice which I couldn't even finish. It was really sweet. I'm not sure I would return here, but would still go to the location in Reno. Maybe they were just having an off day? read more

Yes, the name is correct. Get ready to 'squeeze in'. Some days I'm not thrilled with this and others not a problem. Just depends on my mood. When we bring the kids, they get to play with the bucket of toys brought to the table and it occupies their attention perfectly. My gluten free requests are always accommodated. Love that. Portions are huge and always tasty. Omelet dishes come with a side of one of three sauce options. Service is always friendly. Today we are walking out with a bottle of complimentary champagne in honor of our anniversary. A nice little perk that comes with being club members. My nacho omelette had some jalapeño kick and loved the addition of Fritos. Everything is better with Fritos. Our daughters shared the queen Victoria French toast and loved it. Our son enjoyed his kid quesadilla and it was huge! Love the constant coffee refills. See you again soon. read more

Atmosphere: What a wonderful little place! This is the second time I have been to Squeeze In and both times thought it was wonderful. It is a cozy atmosphere and love all the writing on the wall by previous customers! The serves at Squeeze In are absolutely delightful, you can really see that they are there for the customers and all help out with every table. We must of had 5 different people who would come by and check on how the food was, ask if we needed anything else, and refills. Food: I ordered Shi's Super Food Scramble from the healthier menu, which by the way I am a big fan of! I appreciate meeting all varieties of people's interest! The scramble had egg whites, spinach, broccoli, and red bell peppers, and zucchini all scrambled together! I added turkey sausage to the mix and to top it off some cholula hot sauce, and boy was it YUMMY! My meal also came with a side of actual fresh fruit! It was such a great mix of watermelon, cantaloupe, blueberries, pineapples, and strawberries! It also came with dry toast so I ordered sourdough and it was super good too! If you can't tell, the meals are so big I could not finish it! I definitely recommend this place! What a great experience! read more

I woke up early Sunday morning with my scheduled appointment cancelled. Chicken Fried steak was all I could think about. I got up and got dressed and when leaving my house I still wasn't sure where I wanted to go. Suddenly it hits me. It's early still with time before the normal Sunday morning breakfast rushes start and I haven't' been to Squeeze In yet even though this was a place that I received many recommendations for. I arrive and there is no line yet and no wait. Yay! I ask them for a table for 1 as I am taking myself on this quiet and relaxing breakfast date. The hostess at the front counter was very friendly and helpful with checking if I had a rewards account already since I couldn't remember if I had signed up online or not. I was then quickly seated and served my coffee. After looking over the menu I see there is no Chicken Fried Steak on the menu. Oh No!!! I ask the server if they offer it at all because I remembered seeing a picture on Yelp. She explained that it is not a regular menu item and it's just an occasional special they offer but it is a very popular choice so she would ask the kitchen if they have it and can make it for me anyway. She come back a few minutes later to tell me that yes! they have it and the kitchen has agreed to make it for me. Great!!! I sit back with my coffee and my notebook and do some writing and before I know it my breakfast is being served. So fast!! The chicken fried steak was delicious. The potatoes were pretty good. Not the greatest and a little on the dry side but not bad my any means either. When my bill came I saw that I had a $10 promotional code on my rewards account that was applied to my bill. Nice!!! My total bill ended up being $6.44. What an excellent introduction to this great breakfast spot! I certainly will be back because I saw so many delectable items on the menu that I want to try. Next time I should try the potatoes loaded with the cream an cheese as suggested by my server. read more

All the ladies working today were really sweet and extra helpful. Our coffee was always full and I especially like the that they work as a team to make sure all guests have everything they need. We had 3 different girls ask if there was anything we needed, fill our coffee, and bring us more cream. The service is always great. The food was good, I was unhappy with the spuds today, but I couldn't really be specific as to why.. They just weren't that good.. My Aztec omelette was really good and the coffee tasted really good. I was, however, a little turned off by the huge amount of grounds in my coffee. My husband specifically said no onions, just cheese on his spuds and they were LOADED with onions. I asked for a to-go coffee and when it arrived there were so many grounds in it I spent over 5 minutes trying to fish out as many as I could. Some people don't mind grounds but I can NOT stand it. I would go here again but this wasn't the usual great squeeze in experience we usually have. read more

Always good food. Server was very busy with her phone and could have refilled my drink but other than that it was good and to crowded.

Good breakfast food. Very crowded and noisy. Friendly staff. A bit on the expensive side

This is our go to breakfast spot. They have some of the best omelets and their eggs bennie is the best. You get a third poached egg on top. Tahoe blue Bloody Mary are great too. Service is usually pretty good as well. I'd say the only shortfall is the cost. It is a pretty expensive breakfast joint. read more

Love this location! Fast friendly service and great food always! Love the casual seating!

Certainly good but not great. The positives: the vibe is great, and I love the decor. The staff was super friendly: and if I could just bring my own food, I would. The negative: the food. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but I had the banana walnut pancakes and the chilaquiles. I want my chips in chilaquiles to be not so soggy, and I just want more flavor, either in the salsa or the avocado or some chili pepper or just... something, but it just seemed bland. Same thing with the pancakes: maybe some nutmeg or lemon syrup or just... something to really make it more interesting and better than I could make at home. I could imagine this being amazing for a lot of people. I'll probably be back eventually but if I am, I'm definitely ordering something else: probably an omelette. read more

We happened to be in South Reno, decided to stop by the South Squeeze. We were seated right away, and a server took our order. One of our fave places to have breakfast ! They have 3 locations in town so far we have tried this location and on McCarran. I love the tomato pesto sauce on any of the omelettes or scrambles . My hubby enjoys the banana walnut pancakes , which is so hefty , you might need to take majority of it to go ( which isn't always a bad thing ) ! They have a lot of Bobby Flay inspired dishes and they have breakfast and lunch options . Only downside is they are only open in the beginning of the day , so you have to catch them early . Usually not too busy during the week ! read more

First time there, kind of a quirky place tables with unmatched chairs scribbling on the walls but overall a good experience.big menu many selections, service was fine portions are large,my only criticism is I thought it was a bit pricey for what it was.i had the sourdough breakfast sandwich with potatoes and it was good was it worth 12.99 for a breakfast sandwich I think not . just my opinion place was busy and from what I've seen driving by it t always is. read more

love this place. every time we come visit our son and daughter-in-law, Squeeze in is a must. great food, wonderful service.

Really cool spot, wife absolutely loves the place. It is however the only breakfast place I've ever been to without corn beef hash, so I got the country fried chicken which is well worth it. I would recommend fixing the tables, every time we are there the tables are wobbly and unusable, sketchy with hot coffee. read more

Squeeze In is one of my favorite places for breakfast. The quirky atmosphere is unique with writing on the wall encouraged and markers provided! The menu is extensive and a bit overwhelming so you'll need some time to decipher it! If it's your first visit I would recommend going over it online before you arrive. There is often a wait. I appreciate that I can call ahead and add my name to the wait list before I leave the house. I have never had a negative experience as the staff is efficient, friendly and fast! I have a few favorites, The Spanish Flay with chorizo, Rednecker, Hangover Helper, Garth Breakfast Sandwich, and the mimosas!! Although Squeeze In costs more than some of the other independently owned restaurants that I enjoy in Reno/Sparks, with my EggHead card I receive many discount and free meal coupons by mail and also have the app (also with specials) on my phone. Finally, I appreciate that their to-go boxes (which I always need) are biodegradable! read more

Lisa & the rest of the gang are 'Da Bomb'! Always great food & fabulous service. Today the 3 of us were enjoying Nachos, biscuits & gravy & another amazing Dierdoni! This place was packed, yet our food was fresh & hot - cooked perfectly too - and a never ending supply of ice cold 'Arnold Palmers'! There is no better way to start your 4th of July weekend than going to 'the Squeeze'! I'm never sure how she does it, but again, Lisa is always there - smiling, friendly, AND exceeding all expectations! A real gem! Get your grub on!!!!! read more

Gosh I wish I would have taken pictures of the great food. Went for Mother's Day nice and early. It wasn't too busy and we were able to sit outside in the morning sun. I had the Hail Mary bloody and WOW WOW WOW the bloody was good but the grilled cheese was one of the best. I then enjoyed the racy Tracy. So good. Thanks for the great service and perky personalities. Our waitress was happy to be back to work. Thank you. read more

Returned to the "Squeeze" after several years of moving out of the area. I was in company of my son who ordered a breakfast and a large mocha with a heafty swirls of whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles. I decided on the Flo french toast (yep there were apple filling). Also large mug of hot mocha and whipped cream. We both enjoyed our meal. they still accepted my rewards card, but I had no points towards my bill. So I paid the bill and gave a nice tip. Overall the food was great and had a wonderful time. Will try to return again soon. read more

So disappointed! This was my first & last experience with Squeeze In. In all the years I've lived here, I've always avoided it because I've heard how crowded they get. I finally decided to give it a shot for a to-go order for a special Mother's Day for my family... that was a mistake! I placed a $90 order on their website the DAY BEFORE, for a Sunday pickup at 10:45 (hours after they opened, to give plenty of time to have the order ready). I arrived to stand in line right on time at 10:45, finally got to the register at 10:55, and although my order was documented and I saw my name on the iPad, I was told the food wouldn't be ready for another 90 MINUTES (that's an hour and a half, which is appalling!) I thought this must be a mistake... I confirmed with the guy (Luke) that even though I placed an order yesterday, and it was supposed to be ready 10 minutes ago, that they were in fact saying it would still be 90 minutes??? Sure enough, that's what the guy said. No apology, no explanation, just two choices; cancel the order, or stick with it and they'll "take something off the tab". As a side note, for the ten minutes I stood in line, I saw/heard at least a handful of other people that experienced this exact same thing and walked away empty handed as well. I hope they also write reviews. Good job ruining our holiday brunch. I will NEVER attempt to give ANY business here again. read more
