If you want a fun, quirky restaurant with good food, this is the place. None of the tables and chairs match, people have signed the walls, and the decor is eclectic to say the least. But the food is amazing! The menu is fun to read and the descriptions amusing and informative at the same time. Known mostly for their omelettes, the variety is astounding. I, however, am not an omelette person. So I had the special, Oreo Pancakes. I added Otis style potatoes on the side, along with hot chocolate. The hot chocolate mug arrived on a plate, which was a good thing as the whipped cream was as tall as the mug. And had sprinkles! When my pancakes arrived, I was glad only ordered two, as they were as big as a plate. Despite being "dessert" pancakes, they weren't overly sweet. Light and fluffy, they filled me up quickly. I wasn't a huge fan of the Otis style potatoes, mostly because of the large amount of onions. That was really my only complaint. My husband had the Gare Babe's Denver and enjoyed it immensely. It was big enough he couldn't finish it. He also had Otis style potatoes and loved them. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the bathrooms lacked to and our waitress only returned to deliver the check. Had it been busy, I would have been more understanding but we made a point of going later in the day to avoid the crowds. We had to catch another employee to get a refill on our water and my husband's coffee. Even with that small glitch, we will definitely be returning. read more

The Squeeze In. The best little hole in the wall ever where you can scarf down an omelet the size of your head in no time. I can't say much about Squeeze In that hasn't already been said or that locals don't already know. This location is every bit as awesome as the original in Truckee. You really do "Squeeze In" as the place is about the size of three large walk in closets. Very narrow and very tight - but that's part of the charm and everybody knows it. They serve an amazing Bloody and some of the biggest, tastiest and fluffiest omelets on the planet. The home fries are equally amazing. The staff is always super friendly and even when their is a line you are never waiting long. You can kick it in the tiny waiting area or give them your cell number so they can text you when its your turn. They close at 2:00, so get there for breakfast and have a hungry belly. The Squeeze In is NOT cheap - not by any means. But it wouldn't be the same if it were and every time we go its a treat that worth every penny. read more

We always go to the Sparks location, the food is always good. When we go in their is a lot of new faces to the wait staff, which can be a good thing. They are always clean and very polite. My boyfriend and I decided to start the new year with the right foot and headed over to Squeeze In for breakfast and mimosas. Service was quick and since it was early the wait was brief. The staff was a friendly and welcoming as always. We enjoyed the Spanish Flay and drooled over the banana & nuts delicious pancakes and happily sipped coffee. We are regulars at the Sparks location but have also visited the South Reno and Truckee shops. We enjoy the fast service, friendly staff, good food and the new addition: premium mimosas and chocolate bacon. Yum! It is my favorite stop for a power breakfast after a workout, conveniently located between home and the gym. I usually go for the DJ's So Cal Low Cal because it has everything I love: flour tortilla, egg whites, turkey breast, veggies, salsa, sprouts, and avocado. The portion is generous and I often save one-half for next day's breakfast. When have taken our friends from out of town to Squeeze In and they like it too. My only suggestion to this place would be to improve the lighting, other than that food and service never disappoint. Join their rewards program. It is very giving. Every time I'm visiting Reno/Sparks, a stop here is in order. This has to be one of my favorite breakfast places of all time. Mmmm. There are so many delectable treats on the menu. A terrific eggs benny, peanut butter pancakes, burgers, a kickass BLT with avocado, scrambles, and omelets, just to name a few I've actually tried. Two kinds of bloody mary: one with bacon and better vodka, and a regular without. Pretty darn good without the fancy frills, if I do say so. Service is wonderful. The people who work here look and sound like they actually enjoy their jobs. My friends that live up there are always getting gift certificates and coupons for the place. And points for the experience, as well. The walls you can write on are so much fun! The place is painted with bright, warm colors, and its adorned with surf boards, and colored scarves woven around the scribbled memories and messages. What an amazing breakfast brunch find. The reviews are correct it's tasty and covid safe in here. Everything was prepared perfectly and fresh to order, the staff are all super friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the menu, which is also following covid protocol by scan and downloading the menu as soon as you sit. There is hand sanitizer at every table, all the staff are wearing masks and all tables are spread out. If you're looking for a covid dine in experience then definitely go here. We stopped at the Sparks location because of convenience. We will not be back for numerous reasons. The place is small, so the acoustics were loud. But to top it off the waitress we had was LOUDER. Our food was mediocre, my French toast was barely warm and smothered in a ton of powered sugar which I attempted to scrape off. My dining companion had the breakfast burrito which was dripping with liquid (eggs, tomatoes,??‍)again the burrito was warm at best. Neither one of us dared touch the condiments because they had dried food all over them and were just plain disgusting. Instead of checking on us, the waitress was complaining to an off the clock employee sitting behind me about having to be at work, again, she had a very loud voice. Arrived 2 hours before closing to grab a lunch since Squeeze in use to always be our go to. We arrived, got seated by the host and waited around 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. Mind you, we understand the service industry is busy however this restaurant was nearly empty. Once our coffee was dropped off, our server immediately walked away as we we were telling him we were ready to order. He turned around and said "you're ready to order?" and continues to walk away. We thought he was going to be coming right back as we let him know that we were ready to order. We saw him go outside and serve a table and we thought he must be coming to take our order after that. However he continued to do other tasks and it was around another 10 minutes before we realized that this was the most terrible service we have ever experienced. We ended up leaving a five dollar bill at the table for the coffee that we wish we didn't even order. Ended up going to Sip of Saigon after. This is super disappointing to experience as I've seen another table experience this exact scenario at squeeze in a couple weeks before. I thought the man at that table was angry and unreasonable at the time however now I understand why he was acting that way. My most recent visit , I got one of their daily special eggs Benedicts and it was almost like a taco style eggs Benedict and it was seriously the best unique eggs Benedict I have ever had! What the hell is the point of making reservations due to COVID when walk ins get priority. I rather wait in my house then head over an hour later than be a "walk in" and wait. That's the point in making a reservation. We were reserved for 11am an hour prior. Got there and they said it was over an hour wait because multiple other people showed up. We were visiting from out of town and found this little gem for breakfast. Very charming atmosphere and food was delicious! We shared the most delicious (and huge!) Bloody Mary that was destination-worthy by itself! Our server Maddie was exceptional. She was prompt, efficient and very friendly. She offered us a few suggestions for things to visit while we were in town. Typical breakfast food. The reason for this review was due to the way the hostess treated us. We put our name down on the waitlist, waited for 45 minutes walking around. When we showed up for the "3 min text," we were dismissed because we were about 5 minutes late. I thought we would be seated at the next available seat, but she asked us to put our name at the bottom of the list again, and said the wait now will be about another hour. When we asked if there is a way to be seated sooner because we had already waited 45 minutes, she just said no.
